You know, I'm a punk and I have a mohawk and listen to very angry music and don't at all look like I would listen to this sort of music but Sam Beam has been a favorite of mine since I was thirteen, and I am now eighteen. He's so great.
He didn't mention the coolest thing about resurrection ferns. During dry times the leaves shrivel and crumple and turn as brown as any dead leaf but as soon as it rains they turn green and "alive" again.
If Jesus could sing he would be this guy
I can't find one reason why this song isn't perfect.
in an age of so much digitally overproduced garbage, it's satisfying that one man alone on a stage with his guitar can still be more beautiful than all of it..
this song touches such a deep part of my soul. chills every time. i dont even know how to explain it. its like each time i listen- my heart is broken. but i keep coming back to be broken again. i obviously feel some sense of home in these lyrics and the music- box tune. this one in particular reminds me of a music box . in the BEST way possible.
Now THIS is REAL music, beautiful poetry sang by and amazing voice backed up with nothing but an Acoustic Guitar, love it.
This song and melody is not something to put into words. Nothing else like it. Thanks for sharing it.
I've seen him twice. The concerts were just 6 months apart but could not have been much more different. First time it was only him and his guitar and I absolutely loved ever second of it. The second time he brought a 10 person band with him, which completely changed most of the songs and was a big disappointment. His voice is so pure he does not need anything else but his guitar.
Wow, Jesus Rocks
Can't help but love everything about this... especially the beard
The king of Music!!!
best version of this song i've heard, 240p but still amazing!
his guitar playing is way beyond amazing.
Mind-blowing brilliance
His voice... his fucking voice.
Over and over and over. Love and love and love it.
Absolutely love this song, but I do miss the steel guitar on the studio cut. It is probably my favorite use of a steel guitar ever.
I really enjoy him live. To each their own.
