- Let's have a full @Shmee150 garage update and run through of the Shmeemobiles! With nearly all of the cars at The Shmuseum together, there's a lot of news and progress to share, plus some of the plans for one of the latest arrivals, the C63 AMG Black Series!
One of the most exciting aspects of the new garage is the opportunity to bring all of the collection under one roof and be able to cover so much more. However, at this stage it's great to discuss everything that's in the current collection, both present at the moment plus the 675LT Spider (out at service) and the Shelby GT500 (in the USA). Anything not mentioned, is no longer in the fleet! For example, the BMW M8, Ferrari GTC4Lusso and Toyota GR Supra all departed in late 2020, before a flurry of other cars arrived.
One big topic that's open minded at the moment is what to do with the C63 AMG Black Series, a car that needs some work to bring it up to scratch. In addition to replacing a few components and changing some badges, the fundamental question is whether to fix up a few paint defects with a front-end respray of designo Diamond White, or whether to go for a full colour change in something bright and bold like Fire Opal Red (C63 BS launch colour option), or maybe even incorporate AMG Magmabeam (the launch colour of the GT BS)?!
I've also been using the Carbon 1 Mk II from Carbon Mobile recently; a phone built around a real carbon fibre monocoque and the first to ever do so. This makes it both exceptionally light and very thing, while also linking through to carbon that is found in many automotive applications. You can find out more here:

C63 Colour - I think you should do it in Mars Red (but maybe with a metallic fleck). Then you have the primary colour trio in all the black series'

I was about to comment the same thing. I'd keep the de-chrome, too, but it'd probably look pretty good if he decided to revert back to chrome.

I would paint that C63 AMG Black in Green Hell Magno, that would make it quite unique, differend and it would go well with the chrome if you want to bring that back.

Here in South Africa we got a special edition of the C63 called the Legacy Edition. They were painted in Viper Green which is quite similar to Green Hell Magno, and was limited to only 10 cars exclusively for South Africa. It would be interesting to see a Black Series in a similar spec.

Fire Opal Red with the chrome star on the front grill and polished lip on the alloys for the C63. Then you would have a dark, a medium and a bright colour on the 3 Black Series cars.

I like seeing Tom in with the videos...he seems to have an opposite disposition to Tim (not bad...different) and that lends a nice balance and makes the mood of the videos more chill and relatable. More Tom! Cheers from the USA!

Green Magno would be my choice, I wouldn't delete the rear seat & remove the utility of such an epic car, getting an AMG tuned W204 & building a Shmee Edition Cerulean / Navy blue as a daily for errands could be helpful.

If you’re going to do a full paint job on the C63 black series it has to be magma beam orange surely?! That would tie in the connection back to the GT black series very nicely!
That’d look great, or even mystic blue but that may clash with the SLS

Not gonna lie, I'm loving this channel so much more than the main one. So laid back and natural. Tom provides a nice balance to Tim (no bad thing). Keep them coming (even in Tim's absence). 👍

I definitely would keep the "Storm Trooper " look so if there's some imperfections because it was used some, just a respray should be great and it would stand out!
I can only dream of owning and running 1 AMG let alone 5!! As for the C personally I would keep the colour relatively subtle, like Mercedes Hyacinth Red, as petrol heads will recognize that its a limited run model rather than just another shouty C63 😂. Maybe a McLaren colour like the Orange on their current F1 livery for example, referring to the dominant McLaren/Mercedes racing relationship. Love the channel and its great to see all the behind the scenes side of things 👍

Make the C63 BS in the red that was available at release then you would have the three Black series cars in the primary colours

The C63 would probably lose since it's much older tech and with a much slower gearbox compared to the M3. But would be interesting for sure!

Personally I don't think you should put the buckets in the GTR

random note, I would really like to see the Ford Trio and the Black Series Trio battle it out, a battle of speed and sound
If you plan to put the bucketseats in the C63AMG or Roadster you should use the comfortable seats and turn them into deskchairs.

What a collection. Absolutely awesome and will look even better when the GT 500 and Solar beam Black series joins the gang. I think the only colour for the C is red. It would look 🤯.

With the amount of "keeper" cars you're getting, I'm starting to think that this garage is small! I don't see you ever selling the GT8, 675LT, any of the Black Series, Senna, Ford GT, Focus HE, so that leaves not that much space... Loving the content!
Don’t forget he still needs to build the office and the gaming mezzanine. Also the cars on the left like te Yaris, GT4 and Focus are parked quite far from the wall. And he is going to install car lifts too. It’s still looks small but when everything is done it will look different

one of the things i'm still curious about Shmee, what happened to the TVR Griffith? there has been almost zero to none news from either TVR or from customers that put a deposit down on them
I think Tim knows as much as we do...
It's TVR, they probably have financial issues like always. The TVR Griffith will probably never come to life and the customers will never see their deposit back.
c63 has to be Red!
I will be on egde to choose between Magma orange or Fire opal to the C63 black series. But what I didn't do was to bring back the chromes of that car, it's so over the top that car that doesn't have space to the chrome.
But your collection of cars is already a dream collection!!!

The worst thing you can do with a C 63 is put it back to chrome. These types of cars are just meant to be blacked out with no silver at all. Look at any CZcams channel that has a C 63 AMG, it’s literally tradition within the car community. In regards to colour, again its tradition to keep it white to contrast it to the blacked out chroming. I think it’s perfect how it is, but if you still want to change the colour I’d say some sort of Lime Green or Lava Red would be fine.
yeah I really do agree with you, but colour wise, I really do prefer Green hell magno or Orange, and the Shelby GT500 is already lime green and the AMG GT roadster is already red, and yeah sudden connection, the GT500 was originally going to be orange but now green, maybe the C63 would more likely turn out orange?

I originally was thinking a red c63bs would be awesome but after thinking about it since you’re doing the GT bs in the c’s launch color….. how cool would it be to do the c in the gt’s launch color?🤪 the magma beam if I’m not mistaken? You also don’t have an orange in the garage. It would definitely be something unique!
Also if you did the re-Chrome or left it all blacked out either way it would look killer with the magma beam orange 🤓 just a thought

Sunset/Burnt Orange Metallic with lots of flake, for the C63, might look exotic and classy at the same time.
I personally think that the C63 Black Series would look brilliant in some shade of red.

Go for the launch color of the GT Black Series that you liked after you saw it in person! That was my first thought even before you implied it!
Bucket Seats for sure it's way better for speedy cornering and also a safety thing...
For the wheels I would love to see a stripe of the cars color when it is repainted or wrapped...
Yeah I believe white is cool but odly unusual in your collection so I’d personnaly go for either Green or Red but considering you have a red GTR , it obviously points towards the green (launch color for the GTR) 😉 anyway love this channel as much as yours and it is great to see you manage to offer different content !
Some sort of apple candy red on the C would be bonkers! Especially next to the mystic blue and solarbeam yellow 👌🏼👌🏼
I think the bucket seats is much suitable for the C63 and may be the purple you considered for the STO would look pretty nice on it along with some bronze accents.

I did not think that the C 63BS would be a permanent addition to the garage. I think the bucket seats in the C63BS, but in red color , like the GerCollector or like you mention - bringing the Orange Magmabeam from the GT BS would be insane to say the least.
Would love to see more content of the Yaris and the M3 too!
