One thing about the "time to cap point" mod. It only works to the center of the cap point so you actually get there slightly faster than it says on screen.

What about the speed of the anemy?
It would have been nice if you didn't skip over the Windows Defender alert. I understand you did say it is safe and all that but you should also give a heads up that it *will* cause Windows Defender to freak out.
It’s insane. All this time without mods. They have to incorporate them into the game or heavily limit them. This is insanely import and the average player is at a large disadvantage. Thanks for covering though. In the meantime I guess I’ll have the advantage now…
I would love to get a mod that would highlight fresh kills on green and red teams on the minimap, perhaps with blinking icons for 30-60s so I could put the kills in context better. I can’t always remember which ship was where to understand what kills/deaths mean and this would help. Has anyone seen a mode like that?
I can't recall seeing one like that in Aslain's, but I would be interested in trying it out if it ever became a thing

Nice up to date video about this topic cheers. 3 questions . #1 resources in port not showing steel or coal etc, how to i get it to show? #2 Build viewer, how do you display the build? #3 on my screen left side ( on yours just above chat) is a white chevron that pops in and out if i click it and the opacity can be changed, which mod is that? i have it installed but unsure which one it is. I mass installed at work to test them all out for when i get home. Cheers. again.
lol never mind about resources....i run game windowed at work, fullscreen all good.
So the build viewer should be a big white arrow on your screen - clicking it should bring up your build. Don’t stress if all mods aren’t working atm cause there will be the new patch tomorrow so you may need to wait a day or 2 before it all comes back to working properly

back in 2013, there used to be a mod with an option to show where the ship is moving with a small circle and you could aim on that circle and fire guns...later i learnt it might have been an aimbot and uninstalled the game fearing account ban...

That one is in the minimap by Battleframe, so if you install that you will also have that one ingame as well

@@zacharybuchanan224being honest - I dont actually use any ocean mods at all. I do play on maximum graphics quality though so that might be your answer. It doesn't occur on all maps

Whats the name of that white half circle around center of screen which shows you who is targeting you or moving to you / shooting at u idk ?

I'm pretty sure, that I've seen a mod, where consumables on enemy ships were shown. Am I wrong, or just blind since I can't find it in Aslains mods. :)
You may have seen that as a spectator POV in KOTS casting (it’s just the consumables monitor), but unfortunately such a mod is illegal in terms of normal gameplay to view enemy consumables/usage

HOW DO YOU MOVE THE ITEMS!!! everything explained apart from how to move the overlays about I have many that cross over each other?
Hold down Ctrl in-game and you should be able to drop and move the mods as you wish
I tried some of these you mentioned, but now I just get "you have been disconnected from the server due to technical difficulties" or somesuch. Is that a mod problem?
tbh I don’t think - I’ve only just gotten back from holidays and been having the same issue logging into the client without any mods running yet

They’ve adjusted the training room button since I’ve made this video - it’s like a bar at the bottom of the select game mode menu

Should do but I haven’t tested with the steam version personally - just make sure that you have selected the current folder that the game is installed in

Advanced Battle Loading Screen Aslain it does not work now.
Patch released a couple days ago so some mods may not yet be updated yet. Just wait a bit for things to get fixed and updated

Don’t worry - it’s just cause it’s not a normal recognised download. The mod pack in my experience has been 100% safe to use and I’ve used it for quite a few years now
so many of these should be completely illegal imo... lots of people would qualify them as "quality of life" mods but it should be part of your skillset... if you need a computer to tell you or remind you of something then you suck.. and it should cause your demise... again, just my opinion

Nope, most of them are not usefull in battle, yes make it easier for other people, but are not helpful and clutter your UI with things that are not beneficial for newbies
Game should have ZERO mods, and an immediate suspension for any installed. WG blessing mods has to be dumber than their current Dev Team. END OF STORY.

Either enable mods for everyone and/or disable them for everyone from the point of installation. The UI of the game is opaque enough without inside information being used this way I am afraid. All unicums and high skill players know about these mods, whereas newbies, one game players and those so not into the game know nothing about this. The end result is usually the unicum and/or high skill players just eat up the rest. That being written the mods can be fun, but they should be implemented for everyone, IMHO.
If more of these mods could be implemented into the base game that would be the best thing imo - particularly stuff like score timer
