  • Have you ever wondered what bodybuilders looked like before steroids were invented? You might be surprised to see the physiques that they sported. They were clearly nothing like the monsters that you see today.
Does that mean that they were not lean or didn’t look good? Of course not! As a matter of fact, these physiques are what many can achieve as long as they stay natural. So don’t be discouraged by those that are clearly using PEDs, instead, look to build your best body naturally as these bodybuilders did.

Now I'm in my forties. Haven't done any serious training in almost two decades. I'm still shredded as fuck. I do literally nothing to maintain it.
It's truly not fair. People work their ass off for 1/10th of the results I get from just sitting as much as possible. I'm honestly lazy as shit, and eat whatever I want. I have no business owning this much muscle definition.
I have no explanation for it other than how I grew up. My "snacks" as a kid were just fresh vegetables, plucked off a vine. We had a small orchard for fruit too. Mom said it was worse than having a rabbit in the garden because she couldn't remove the "pest" that was stealing all her harvest. Plus, I was just running through the forest, and climbing trees all day, every day. Building forts in the woods. Just extremely active.

There’s a saying that goes like this: you can be shredded, big, or natural; although you can only pick two. You can definitely be decently big and shredded as a natural but you won’t hold as much muscle compared to if you’re bf% was higher, generally speaking. Steroids (especially trenbolone) are very effective in maintaining muscle while you’re in a caloric deficit, which is why insane looking physiques, like Chris Bumstead’s, are common place today. Those earlier bodybuilders have extremely impressive physiques, although their conditioning and camera angles makes them look like they’re taking steroids when they’re not. If you actually pay attention to their muscle to height ratio, most of them probably wouldn’t surpass an ffmi of 25, which is generally considered the limit for most naturals.

Steroids is a temporary thing for winning a contest or two. True bodybuilding goes far beyond that. A true bodybuilder is someone who can train with no supplements, no equipment and even if someone is completely broke. That's a true bodybuilder.

I'm 6.1 almost 300 pounds my frame is huge I'm not a fatty and in decent shape. I've always wanted to get shredded like u and these guys. Always wanted to take. My shirt off and hear the voices say oh dam look at that guy. And just look strong healthy in great shape. With cuts. Not all swollen and over big. Where it looks uncomfortable. Look great in clothes and do physical stuff hike swim beach body. I do have fluff. But I do hard ass physical labor doing concrete construction in the summer heat. I believe I'm strong then most. Even though I don't look it. I've been following your videos. All great information. And I'm trying hard to work at these goals. To maybe one day I'll bigger stronger leaner. And be steroids free. 🎉is my point.

It is absolutely possible to be small and chiseled naturally. No one will accuse you of being on steroids if you weigh 165 and chiseled.

No one who actually knows anything about body building and steroids.
I've seen people accuse anyone who looks noticeably muscular of riding. Look up Doyle from the Misfits. Super cut, lean muscle guy who has been athletic his whole life. People accuse him of steroids all the time.
