TTP! Love it.
Hey Tyler, quick question.
So my Ukulele is tuned AECG (A being string 1 and G being the 4th) or GCEA
Depending on how you want to read it.
However your PDF for this is
Listed as EACG or GCAE. Which one is correct.
Also a patreon sub.
I should also say im a total newb, and treated myself to a ukulele for my birthday last month, and love watching your tutorials, they are very helpful and well thought out. Thanks
You should try to do a tutorial for any system of a down song please that would be great im trying to find a good tutorial for chop suey or toxicity
If you are interested in playing the Ukelele the best success that ive had was with the Arthurs Uke Blog (i found it on google) without a doubt the best plan that I've followed.
I just picked up my first uke. I've never played an instrument before. Came here looking for some tips and techniques to learn. Low and behold I stumble across someone from my neck of the woods. I am also from sw mich. Just north of kzoo. I look forward to ,earning to play this instrument and hopefully learn more about music in general.
Phillip Richar yeah! Plainwell? Gun Lake? I grew up in Augusta, newt Gull Lake. Welcome to the instrument friend!
@@TenThumbsProductions Plainwell is correct. I grew up in Battle Creek. Thanks for the videos.
@@philliprichar8906 Hello neighbor. I'm in Ohio. Cincinnati area.
Hi, can you please share link to the ukulele instrument you are using in this video?
Had a uke for a few years now but still struggling. I guess I need more time with it.
Time is the most important element for sure. How fare have you made it?
@@TenThumbsProductions I can play three chords but have to stop and think about finger positions between each one. :s
love your vids, question, how is that a D7 chord with no D in the chord?
Chad Hartwick that is a great question! I’ve heard it referred to as the “Hawaiian D7” to get the D in it becomes a barre chord, but because it has the other three notes when played in a progression it will contextually feel like a D7. Good eye!
I only realized it because a few songs i play have a D7 and i am not a fan of the chord since it is a barre chord or trying to cram 4 fingers in a row, yours looks a lot easier, i may try it and see how it sounds. thx. Any suggestions on transitioning to Em from say an Am or another chord? I struggle transitioning to and from Em
I'm a patreon... where is the sheet associated with this tutorial? I clicked where you pointed, but it couldn't find it there. Thanks!

@@TenThumbsProductions Hey Tyler of course you know that I know all these chords but I make a copy of this for my mother in law, cuz that's where she struggles. can't remember all the chords.
Like number 868 👍
Do you have this same lesson for baritone uke?
Troy Hall unfortunately I do not. All of these chord shapes work on a baritone so you can still practice them but you’ll need to learn the names. I will be starting a baritone series this summer, but for right now that probably doesn’t help. I know Bernadette Teaches Music has some great Baritone lessons though.
How do you strum with the pointing finger? Mine seems to get stuck a lot. :(
This should help you friend. czcams.com/video/36BMd4FarWs/video.html
Tyler -
Where is your lesson on how to where to place the ukulele in your left hand, assuming one is right handed. This is basically a maintenance check to make sure I’m not developing any bad habits.👍
Starting at 0:36 I talk about where to hold the Ukulele in this lesson. czcams.com/video/fTTySzgvVgw/video.html Rock on!
