When I was 115 kg, I used to squat 200 kg. With this, I was 1 of the 5 strongest guys in any commercial gym I went to. In this video there is a 47 kg woman, who squat 210 kg...
And you will remain the 1 of the 5 strongest guys in the gym (she is a girl)
Any one who I saw in a gym squatting around 220kg they were all doing barely parallel squats, with belt and knee wraps ... lol
Equipped to be fair. But yeah, its ridiculous
weak gym, weak boy, nice ego, weak little man
@@PeskyBadger92 😆 Actually, I'm pretty strong for gym hobbyist...
13:37 I swear hes my friend, guys. Pls believe me!
i love you zack
And what? My uncle is Chuck Norris... :D
We all homies lifting
leet bro

That 300 kg pause completely raw squat Clarence did got me lifting. That was 5 years ago for me and I’m so grateful I saw it. Changed my perspective about the gym completely. I used to do body building routines. So grateful to discover Clarence! What a beast.
Chen Wei Ling competed at powerlifting and weightlifting simultaneously, she competed in 3 olympics and ended up with the gold medal for Beijing. Is she the only IPF and Olympic champion? Certainly while competing in both simultaneously. She did this 210kg squat for the equipped record, two months after Rio. With that absurd racking and reracking, I wonder how much she was really capable of. But aside from that, she also has the equipped deadlift record at 186kg from 2014, and the equipped total record, AND the squat, DL and total raw world records in 2015 as well. She out totalled the next competitor by 45kg in that competition. Imagine out totalling someone by 2kg under your bodyweight. While also competing in another sport on the world stage - 5th at worlds that year, could have been 2nd if she made her lifts. She retired a few years ago, but I did see her squatting 180 or so in weightlifting training towards the end.
I read that she was the only person to be Olympic Champion in weightlifting, World Champion in powerlifting, AND World Games champion in powerlifting. Also to speak of how she did the two sports simultaneously, she competed in Asian Champs for weightlifting in the same year that she did that crazy squat in the video. Truly an absolute legend!!
Mad...
@fvhaudsilhvdfs well for Beijing (olympics) makes sense. Also Beijing isn't a country so pretty obvious xD
"Oscillating brain technique", lol.
Wei lin is in a single ply suit but its incredible
Yes and in some super tight wraps, Still godlike tho
Is that the girl who did 4x bodyweight and had the trouble walking it out?
@@pervyboy69 dumb
Ok and? Most people couldn't even walk out 210kg with full equip, not even considering her bodyweight
The Shane Hamman clip is from my video, ha ha! In 2001 USA Weightlifting coach Dragomir Cioroslan allowed me to interview Shane for Powerlifting USA Magazine at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, even though it was closed to visitors at the time I was there.
That's awesome! Real history there.
I get a brain hemorrhage every time I see Tank or Senpai use those tripod squat racks.
yeah the design is terrible. I have use something similar, it was quadpod squat stand and every time I unracked and moved back, my feet would hit the pods. It was annoying
They're the best individual stand design out there, I'm not sure what everyone's problem is with them. The legs are designed so you can walk out only a tiny amount and be able to drop the bar without catapulting the stands all over the gym. Look at Yoichii Itokazu's recent post on instagram, he does a rack jerk without even walking out past the legs and drops it like an inch in front of the uprights. And if you don't like the default position, you can just not use the hole for the pin and twist them wherever you like. Pretty much every other individual stand design out there is far more restrictive of the feet, and far more rickety. Toshiki roughly dumps 300+ in them on the daily and they're more stable than full squat racks.
I really wanna see the dunk
Me to. It seems insane
That would be most appreciated.
Hamman likes to claim pretty impressive stuff - I think he also told seb that he once snatch balanced 240 or something. I’d take it with a grain of salt, unless video or corroboration exist.
Always fascinated and impressed with the leg power and depth that weightlifters achieve with their high bar squats, since my first issue of MILO too many years ago to want to count. Enjoyed this collection, thank you for putting it together.
Squat Senpai is also an absolute animal! His squat stance is just amaizing! Love from France buddy ;)
Music, film, theatre, sport, squats...they are ALL art in it's truest form
К
Clarence is insane! Wow its pretty impressive!!
Tian wears a belt under his shirt.
@@StrangeSBLPerson watch videos in the training hall when he's lifting from All Things Gym. He wears it under his shirt or sometimes he will take off the top part of singlet and it will cover the belt. It's like a blue Valeo belt. Even in the clips shown in this video, if you got watch the full footage from that session you will see him wearing it. Not that it takes anything away from his incredible squat numbers.
Just look at the front of his t-shirt you can see it's underneath
Great video!
Shane is so underrated but my favorite American weightlifter for sure
I don't think they're gonna get a US super like him anytime soon
He actually squated 457 which stood as a world record for 17 years.
DO THE FRONT SQUAT ONE TOO
I'm wondering how 120Kg goes up when I squat it since I started with a 60Kg squat. I can't imagine what must be going through your head when you're just lifting double that amount like it's nothing.
thanks for the video
15:18 makes me laugh so fucking hard, especially the way you explained it
Great video
Do the front squat one 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Bro who disliked this video? This was QUALITY
Mart Seim demands justice!
That Kirksman/Lifthard guy said there's was supposedly a SHW on the Chinese team that could Squat 440kg
Thanks!!
You should included powerlifters damien pezzuti and C3 (respectthedepth) muscle. They squat high bar ATG beltless on par with Clarence
John Haacke too
Shane and Chen's lifts are both single-ply. Still nutty.
OMG around 15:10 you can see Tank's foot bang into the support post. He has to awkwardly reposition to get room to go into his stance. Jeez that guy needs better equipment.
How can you make a weightlifting squat compilation without Idalberto Aranda and Chakarov? :O
Those are two of the craziest squats ever.
Do the most impressive deadlifts next
That Wei Ling squat is the craziest lift I've ever seen
Moradi also did 320 and its recorded
I saw Wei Ling Chen's 210kg live, it was legendary
Tian has a belt on...its the sneaky under the tshirt or singlet velcro belt
it's not sneaky, they all train in this shirt off manner, sweat a lot you know.
I reacted to Zack reacting to squats... seriously.

Damn you’re like a plate calculator good math skills
Sad face for no Nathan Damron. Dudes squat is so freaky he deserved the shout out 😭
You must fear my "oscillating brain technique", young one!
Even just 60 pounds could impress some people. There was a locker room at the post office where I worked. I stood on a wooden bench with a 60 pound dumb bell in one hand, and did easy looking one legged "pistol" type movements and dropped some jaws whereas my idea of the best leg strength performance, Varbanov at 75kgs front squat 285 kgs!
Idalberto Arranda! No questions asked not even a debate!
Tank is super fast man🔥🔥🔥🔥
Amit Sapir squatted 337.5kg @ 82kg BW
Do you think that if Clarence used a belt that it would be a detriment for him after going beltless all these years?
yes
That weight would make my knees meet my heels
Front squats next!!
Omg front squat video
Big Ray Williams in IPF has squatted over 1100lbs raw at the Arnold Classic. Have seen him hit over 1k lbs several times.
3:90 Just as a recommendation, look at Russel's 327 kilo training squat bc it's just insane. Not sure if he squats high bar but other than that, it's definitely a weightlifting squat in terms of loading the quads
He is a lowbar squatter, but still an insane number
Tank murakami is very entertaining
Can you review some Lift about last tournament JuniorWorldChampionShip 2021 ,There's many good talent from some Sector seen so far .Especially at -73kg Class ,Young Indonesian 🇮🇩 RizkyJuniansyah got 194kg C&J just few kg behind ShiZhiYong
crazy to think that he's only 17 years old!!
I have a video with Zack and Eoin reacting to it coming out soon!

“Oscillating brain technique”😂😂😂
Why wasn't Mart Seim mentioned?
Have you done reactions to worlds greatest deadlifts?
front squats! 💪
You miss Liao Hui did 260Kg Front squat, That's amazing
Back squat's for this video. I'll do another with front squats.
Clarence Clarence Clarence!
Do you have any info on height and squatting? I am 198.12 cm and 113 KG, so I accept that I might not lift as much as the shorter folks. Who are the tallest competitive weightlifters?
basically every superheavyweight in weightlifting, strongman and powerlifting is atleast 180cm tall, and right now both the jr weightlifting champion (enzo kuworge) and senior champion (lasha talakhadze) are your same height, 197-198cm. So dont be discouraged, if you have the genetics to fill your frame and bulk up to id say at least 130-140kg, you are going to be a best. In the end height is an advantage as in every other sport, and the leverage thing is overblown imo when you have the chance to be much bigger and heavier (and ultimately stronger) than your shorter counterpart. But you have to bulk up, or you will sell yourself short of your potential
@@disacane8459 Well, now I have a new reason to keep going. Going after the Ultra Senior Championship next. Thanks
@@Dr_Mandler ahaha that was an example as to not get discouraged. I consider myself as having good genetics at 110kg 183cm, but man i wish i was as tall as you, cause i could have the potential to be stronger
@@disacane8459 At 59 yo, but solid, I don't think I should put too much more meat on my frame. Thanks for the encouragement
@@Dr_Mandler ahahahah i didnt know you were 59, then i suggest focusing more on health and general strength. At just 18 im going the opposite route
Front squat episode!!
This guy's a gangster? His real name's Clarence!
and Clarence lives at home with both parents
Do you think he pauses on purpose or he's just thinking about what he's going to have for dinner?
FRONT SQUATS!!!
Let the front squats fly seb
Best weightlifter bench presses ever!??!??
Where is Mart Seim?
Hey Seb. What about 200x5 front squat rpe nothing by venceslas dabaya (france and cameroun ) around 71 kg of bodyweight
Potentially worth me sticking it in the front squat episode
@@WeightliftingHouse I saw a video of a Pacific islander in his garage gym front squatting some insane weight.... I want to say 300+
@@WeightliftingHouse Found him.... Over 400kg not in the front rack position but wtf?
czcams.com/video/0q0SDFnk-gk/video.html
You've loaded those awesome plates the wrong - surely the bolts should face inwards?
There are some great lifts. I like seeing lifters hit depth and then a little bit extra as it removes all doubt and look like absolute quality. My best is 365kg / 800lb in comp
If you do one on front squats, maybe include a couple front squats by strongmen and powerlifters. There was an Oceanic strongman who had the biggest ever front squat some 10 years ago, I think. Something in the 320s. Then Eric Lilliebridge's some time training partner (he was a great squatter but disappeared so quickly that I actually forgot his name) did 370 or so. But whatever you do, you *have to* include Jezza Uepa. He was born to squat as a SHW in a nation where weightlifting and powerlifting are national sports and did in excess of 400 kg in the front squat.
Hamman was also able to do a standing backflip. The guy's athleticism was fucking absurd.
I agree that Russian girl might be the strongest woman ever, but man, Amanda Lawrence gives her a run for her money, and is only 190lbs. Also while the Chinese powerlifter girl is very impressive, that squat is single ply, not raw, and it makes a huge difference. Just something to keep in mind.
Amanda Lawrence is powerlifter, Tatiana Kasharina is weightlifter and it was just one of her training squats, so don't even compare.
@@pinpad5956 it does if we're comparing strength lol. Please try to bring substance to back up your opinion next time
@@juliawilliams1355 you don't understand difference between weightlifting and powerlifting squats. Your remark makes no sense "lol".
@@pinpad5956 I understand that weightlifters squat for every single lift and powerlifters squat in only 1/3 of them so weightlifters should actually be better at squatting than powerlifters but hey, I actually understand both sports, I can see that's a little too much for you.
Shane used a squat suite and knee wraps which oly lifters don't use(well knee wraps maybe but not a squat suite)
When you say he dunked at 5'8'', you don't also mean he was 400lb at the time right?
He was! He could also do a standing backflip as a superheavy weightlifter
@@WeightliftingHouse what the..
RIP the basketball rim
I read that, besides high jumpers, weightlifters have the highest leaps of any athletes at the Olympics. Makes sense when you look at what the sports require.
Long torso, but also long femurs and short lower legs=sad boy hours. I vow to squat like this one day
Same! I'm a gifted puller, but have to fight for every single pound on squats
What about idalberto arranda
Would have loved to see Loredana Toma
Nice to see all these women, half my weight doing 50 kilos more than me
where is ilya ilyin 290kg front squat ?
No pat mendes ? 🤔
Damn, duckin Pat Mendez again lol
More
No Toshiki?
Damn no 400 kg from Mart Seim?
rhianon lovelace is one of the strongest women i think iv ever seen, 272.5kg deadlift at 63kg , defos one of the strongest women thats ever lived
No nathan damron? Didnt he squat 700+?
200kg for MULTIPLE sets of 8....I just can't.
How you gonna leave out Mart Seim 400kg ?
In Zack's video
Paul Anderson, in his exhibitions, would routinely squat 900.
Oh dem shots to Zack Toolander at the start!!
pew pew
Where's my man Paul Anderson?
Your boy! (part 2...?)

Where is TOSHIKI Yamamoto???????🤷🤷

Oscillating brain technique hahahaha
Maybe 1 day I can squat as much as a 47 kg girl I’m a 80kg man lol
Toshiki!
only 1 you missed I think was Mark Henry in competition are a squat of 953.5 pounds
That 320 was not at 85. That was like 2 years ago as a 96.
Feb 2019 after the 2018 WWC, to be specific.
I’m just here for tank the god
Best woman squatter is Gaelle Nayo Katchenka. Perfect form, and able to do 200kg
Yeah there are a lot of people who can do more squats that are not on video Back in my high school days I can squad 1300 pounds No cap But I could never find videos of it on the Internet
How'd you forget Idalberto Arranda's squats?
I didn't, I just wanted to do different squats than in Zack's
