Karina Virtej you can! The original uses the 2 black 6s and the two black 7s. Or any black pairs. The problem for me is when you do the elmsley count they’re going to see the first card twice, and it’s fine 99% of the time because nobody is remembering the specific cards. BUT I like the jokers because you can do it nice and slow and there’s no discrepancy. They see exactly what they’re supposed to see. Rambo Racing no. On the contrary I think it makes it even better if the 4 jokers are the same.
This is one of the most underrated channels! Everything I've seen is pure genius!!
Agree , spidey is what I expect from a mentalist and magician. He is the type of magicians I know. A lot of the current people have way too much pub for who they are or what they do. There is a “kid” who “reveals” “magic” on tik tok and CZcams and had millions of subs yet you can tell he is teaching them as he learns them. His sleights are horrible his techniques are “young” , I just don’t get it tbh. Not putting him down! Just don’t think of him as a “magician” but spider is absolutely the expectation I hold magicians and mentalists too.

I don't know why I didn't learn this one before now. I really like it. I was having trouble at first missing a detal here there even though I knew the Elmley count and the false throwing the cards.
What helped me get it down was practicing with four blue jokers and four red aces. This way I could make sure I was in the right place each time without constantly checking.

Right?... I often get distracted for a second while practicing this then look down go through the motions and confuse myself like... wow how did that get there?!

Cool intro. The little echo voice at the end needs a little adjusting, though. Maybe use an actual echo effect or some reverb.

If you were to use four "random" cards, any suggestions on what cards would be least noticeable? Maybe a seven and eight of the same suit, or the two red fours?
The original is done with the black 7s and 8s. I still do it that way sometimes
@@SpideyHypnosis Thanks for the quick response. Using all sevens and eights might be suspect. I might try it with some "random" cards, maybe three of which being very similar. You're really only ever showing one card for two.
@@ResoluteGryphon i mens it’s only suspect if you make it suspect. You can just say “here’s a trick with the aces and the black 8s and 7s” nothing suspicious about that. The problem is the same card coming up twice in the count. If you have multiple black cards all with the same value more or less. It hides it better

Hey spidey i love the effect and heres something I'm going to try... instead of jokers I'm going with blank faced cards . What do you think about this??... also my thought on your last move ... why not do one last elmsley count when you have just the 4 jokers left before you reveal them?? You've been doing elmsley the whole routine so why not stay consistent??
