In this video I teach the card trick that cannot be explained. This is a very powerful card trick that happens in the spectators hands. You make an impossible prediction which turns out to be correct, even though the spectator had total control over the cards. This trick is also known as Jeopardy and has been used to fool famous celebrities such as Jimmy Fallon. The best part of all is that this is a very easy card trick, which seemingly has no explanation!
This trick uses any deck of cards and does require a quick setup. If you have any questions, please ask them in the comments below!
    Stay magical,

For those of you having trouble, the setup can be any group of cards you wish to use; simply tailor the prediction to that group. Should be around half the deck or so. As long as the spectator gets that group and you get the rest, and you follow the procedure as given, then the setup stack will be face up at the end (assuming you turn over the spectators cards before shuffling them back into yours), The trick works because any cards that the spectator give to you (from the setup stack) get turned face up when they come over to "your side", and any cards of yours get turned face up when they go over to his side. If some of his cards on your side (which are face up) get handed back to him, they get turned over and become face down again. The shuffling and where the cards are located makes no difference. At the end, when the spectator's cards get turned over, you are facing up any of his remaining original cards (the stack), and turning face down any of your original cards. Thus all of his (the stack) will be face up at the end, and all of your original, indifferent cards will be face down. Try it with a small handful of red backed and red faced cards and a few blue backed black cards, using one color as the "stack" and the other as the indifferent cards and you'll see how it works.

I was going to just fold the paper as in the video, but before I did the trick, one of my friends (Simon) left his phone on the kitchen while he visited the bathroom. I sent him a text message saying, 'except the Ace of Spades.' He didn't hear the beep as the message arrived. At the end of the trick, of course one of my other friends pointed out the Ace of Spades. In front of everyone I said to Simon, "I mentioned that you you earlier, didn't I?" Of course he said "No". I replied, "That's right, I couldn't find you, so texted you instead...can you just check your messages?" Of course, everyone was amazed when he read out the text!

Mr. Owen states that you should fan the cards, looking for the setup stack, and then turn over the deck if necessary to orient the setup cards face down. In fact, if the procedure is followed as described, the setup stack will always be face up, necessitating a turnover of the deck. Another option would be for the performer to turn over his own packet instead, as this would orient the setup face down. Or make the prediction of how many cards are face up, instead. As a side note, it is unfortunate that this is labeled as "The Card Trick That Cannot Be Explained", as this name actually refers to a Dai Vernon routine, well known in the magic community, that is completely unrelated to this trick.

    Easy to explain!
Let’s take it from the back: you take one pile of cards and turn it over.
Think about this: if you didn’t shuffle or shift cards at all, you now have the original 10 black cards facing the right way.
How can we then swap cards from pile to pile? Well, every time you change cards, you also turn them upside down.
So let’s say you give the spectator the ten clubs, the every time you receive his cards, they will be facing up in your pile. And your cards will be facing up in his pile. And when you get another pile of cards back again, your original cards will be swapped back to facing down in your pile and his will be facing up.
So back to the end: when you receive the spectators cards at the end and turn them upside down, all cards will (of corse) be facing the way you want them to face!
So if you want to do the trick just a little more smooth, then you know which pile the ace of spades is in from the beginning and then you make sure to turn the other pile upside down at the end. That way you don’t have to make that awkward turn of the whole deck as in your trick.
    But a nice trick!

In fact the secret is rather simple, and has nothing to do with numbers 10 or 15, or with spades versus hearts. I think the 15 red cards are used only to make the impression that the spectator's pile is random (and not, say of merely black cards). The reason the trick works is this: all the cards from the spectator's pile are turned upside down when on the magician's pile, and are back to normal when they come back to the original pile. The same can be said about the cards in the magician's pile. As a result of last turning all the cards that were originally in the spectator's pile are turned upside down, and those on the magician's pile are not.

When I was a kid, my grandmother showed me this trick. Since it's on youtube, it gives the appearance that it's a new trick, but it isn't. When I was shown this trick the first time, it had a story that went with it. Now I need to see if I can still do this trick again. It's been several years since I've done this. Like the narrator said, the trick is self-working, meaning the cards take care of themselves as long as you and the other person does exactly as it's taught.

if you do the preparation well then you should be doing something wrong when you shuffle or ask the spectator to shuffle! You have to turn half of your deck around before shuffling with the spectators cards. And be aware that you have to count the cards when the ace of spades is turned upside down, as mentioned in the video! Hope I explained it, if not, message me again if you didnt get it!
