Get some additional percentage on your tracker and use the DStv decoder to check if there's a signal. It have to work. So keep trying it the right way.

You have to get enough of the signal strengths, to get all the channels working perfectly. So adjust the dish.

First check the F - Connector and the Coax cable inside the LNB on the satellite dish. It get to rust most often, so you have to remove the F connector and strip fresh side of the coax cable and fix the f connector back on it. connect your fresh cable to the LNB port and check if you are having enough signal. If there is no signal, pick your remote and go to DSTV menu [help] [general information] [Tuner status] where you can see the signal strength and signal quality. The next step is to get spanners of the satellite dish [10-15] plus a hammer if your dish is fix on wood, make sure the pole of the satellite dish is very strong. then loose it and start panning for the signal. get someone to watch it for you. if he gives you a signal that the signal strength and quality have fill up then you you stop and tight it up.
