    Your videos are detailed, concise, and slow paced enough for learners to understand easily.
    Thank you, and please keep up the great work.

    As someone who has been using /building computers for content creation /vfx for decades, and is new to using Blender, Unity and Unreal, it seems to me there is a fundamental problem to these programs if there needs to be a tutorial on how to bring in assets. The process is unintuitive, convoluted and overly complex with confusing and inconsistent vocabulary. This is a systemic problem with "professional" software, almost like they intentionally make processes as opaque and obtuse as possible to justify their price and complexity.
    That said, thank you for this tutorial, it helped to make the process less onerous.

      On one side of the coin you are right however to be the devil's advocate a bit 😉, package manager is a very powerful tool to browse, find, download, update your assets specially if you have a large amount of them.

    is there a way to download the assets as a zip becuase my package manager isnt showing My Assets i have the 2019.2.19d1 unity version any help?

    • @KoryCode
      @KoryCode  Před 2 lety

      I don't think there is a why to download as zip without Unity. However if you log in on the unity assets store website and click "My Assets" (top right). You should able to see a list of your owned assets. (if a purchased asset is missing there, I would contact support). From the list you should be able to click "Open in Unity". Unity should be already opened, before clicking. Sometimes I need to click that button more than one time to make it work, though. The other reason could be, the package manager usually only loads the first 25 items, there is a tiny load more button on the bottom of the package manager in Unity. I hope that helps. 😀

    • @KoryCode
      @KoryCode  Před měsícem +2

      That could be many things. Most of the time for me that happened when I'm not using the built in Rendering Pipeline rather URP(Universal Rendering pipeline) or HDRP. Than the assets materials show up pink. You can fix them by selecting the material and click on the top menu: Edit > Rendering > Materials > Convert Selected Built-in Materials to URP (or HDRP). If that not help just hop into my Discord.

    Is there a way to import game assets from say Cyberpunk into unity? I want to use assets from a game to make a game world for VRchat. I was considering importing them into blender and then building a base around it then importing it to unity to texture it :)

    • @KoryCode
      @KoryCode  Před měsícem

      I'm pretty sure that's as illegal as hacking the Matrix! 😅 But hypothetically, if you somehow found the model files and imported them into Blender, getting them into Unity would be a piece of cake. Still, seriously, don't do it! 🚫

      @@Derbyskiller When you click the import button next to the download button it opens up a window with the files to import, if that is empty than they are already imported. Please notice while normal packages will be installed into the Assets folder, unity's built in or unity registry packages will be installed into the packages folder. For example cinemachine will install into /Packages/Cinemachine/ or input system installs into /Packages/Input System/ while normal packages will install into /Assets/[asset name]/ or /Assets/[asset creator company]/[asset name]/ or /Assets/[asset creator made up a name]/ folder. 😀 I hope that helps.
