    This is the very first thing I decided to look into when it comes to making my pause menu for my game. I decided to go with your short instead of a video and I'm so happy I did bc this is so clean and concise. Are there any issues with altering the timescale?

      Glad I could help! One side effect could be some animations may not play on your UI if it is time related.

      That could be many things. Most of the time for me that happened when I'm not using the built in Rendering Pipeline rather URP(Universal Rendering pipeline) or HDRP. Than the assets materials show up pink. You can fix them by selecting the material and click on the top menu: Edit > Rendering > Materials > Convert Selected Built-in Materials to URP (or HDRP). If that not help just hop into my Discord.

    Is there a way to import game assets from say Cyberpunk into unity? I want to use assets from a game to make a game world for VRchat. I was considering importing them into blender and then building a base around it then importing it to unity to texture it :)

      I'm pretty sure that's as illegal as hacking the Matrix! 😅 But hypothetically, if you somehow found the model files and imported them into Blender, getting them into Unity would be a piece of cake. Still, seriously, don't do it! 🚫

    how we do it via c# script enable or disable any layer from collision layer matrix ?

      You should able to do that with Physics.IgnoreLayerCollision (layer1, layer2, true) Physics.IgnoreLayerCollision (layer1, layer2, false) I never really needed to use that. That is why good to organise your colliders by functionality into layers. Create a collider stack for more complex elements in your game like the player, so you are able to enable or disable sub GameObjects of them containing specific colliders like I shown in my other video: czcams.com/video/eVVLwrwlRK4/video.html Here is how to organise colliders by their role: czcams.com/video/vjcs1PQtIL8/video.html

    Standard Assets is deprecated we have Starter Assets since 2023. However Starter Assets is almost works the same. Starter Assets do not have the tools what I mention around 1:10 This is the way to set up the Player: Go to Edit > Project Settings. Click on Player in the left-hand menu. Scroll down to Other Settings > Configuration. Check that the Active Input Handling dropdown is set to Both. Then do the following: Delete your MainCamera GameObject from your scene. (Alternatively enough to disable it) In your Assets folder, navigate to StarterAssets > FirstPersonController > Prefabs. Drag the PlayerArmature prefab into your scene and expand it to show the child GameObjects. Drag the MainCamera prefab into your scene and make it a child of the PlayerArmature. Drag the PlayerFollowCamera into your scene and make it a child of the PlayerCameraRoot.

      It is Unity Game Engine related info. Looks like CZcams Algorithm shows my shorts to a wide range of people. :) I used to do lot of 3D printing, sound awesome to able to 3D print the Mona Lisa, though, congratulation!

    I have figured out right after I finished why the input failed to register. I had to add the following lines: private void OnEnable() { gameControls.Player.CameraToggle.Enable(); } private void OnDisable() { gameControls.Player.CameraToggle.Disable(); }

    Sorry about the stream got frozen at the end. However I got to the solution I only had to remove the old Victory Script from the GameObject, and everything worked like a charm. So indeed it was a Victory! I will show the result tomorrow.😄
