Depends on whether Liu Kang kept Jacquie in mind and set Jax's life up so that he meets Vera some other way.
This is gonna be weird, but apparently in the alternate timeline which may or may not include Mortal Kombat Onslaught, Jax secretly had a crush on Sonya but didn’t want to admit it. So perhaps in this timeline, he could get together with Sonya instead. And they will have a daughter with traits that combine some aspects of Jacqui and Cassie.

Yo this new Jax look is kinda clean ngl. I'm really liking this whole "special agent" angle they're taking too. If they add him as DLC later down the line, it'd be cool to see him have a whole bunch of secret agent gadgets like something out of MIB or 007 movie. Although that might make him more of zoner or trap-based character, and I personally prefer it when Jax is up close and personal with his gameplay.
Maybe he can have a mix? And perhaps special electro knuckles before he gets his arms

I keep imagining what Sonya is in this timeline? Liu Kang probably wanted to give her a better life, so it would make sense that she's not special forces since that job made her be obsessed with Kano and work. my theory is that she is just a Cop, probably works with Stryker in this timeline
@@jayemel And I wonder what's in it for Sonya then? Would she be a part of the Black Ops version of FOX-HOUND from the Metal Gear Franchise? Balancing her duties as a Cop while forming her own Special Forces Unit alongside Stryker and undergo a solo operation to take down the Black Dragon Cronies in that timeline? That would be lit in the New Era.

Here's my theory based on nothing but the endings of Kenshi and Nitara's tower endings.
In the new timeline, Kenshi's ending reveals Jax is a Special Agent instead of a soldier. After an encounter with Shang Tsung, Jax creates the OIA, where both Earthrealmers and Outworlders work together to stops threats on both sides. We also know that Nitara has been making routine stops to Earthrealm to kidnap people for her home, something which would probably end up on the radar of the OIA.
My guess is that these two stories will be the way they reintroduce Sonya to the series. Jax isn't a soldier so I imagine Sonya wouldn't be either. She's more likely a cop in this timeline, which I think would also be perfect to reintroduce Stryker as well.
I think that during a usual patrol, Sonya and Stryker would accidentally catch Nitara either about to kill or kidnap someone (I think it would be cool if it was Kano, as then you could have this whole thing about them accidentally letting someone very dangerous live by stopping Nitara.) I imagine the OIA would show up to capture Nitara, and that's how Sonya and Stryker meet Jax and Kenshi, learn about the realms and get their more recognisable gear.
This way also gives Sonya a way to meet Johnny, as Kenshi and Johnny are good friends in this timeline.

This whole ending feels like a plot from an average Johnny Cage film and I love it
So I guess Kollektor there is their Outworld Informant and or their supply guy for field mission

I just see, if you zoom in the final image, you can see The Kollector anf Sheeva. Maybe they are good guys this time
Kollector is kinda likely (either that or it's a member of his race), but Sheeva was kinda always a good guy since a good number of her actions was for the well-being of her people, and she harbors very little malice or ill will towards others.
So hol on cause now i got questions since the timeline was restarted by liu kang and since she was in the background with the kollector and it might sound ridiculous but im tryna get used to the new timeline liu oang created would thag mean that goro and her do not know each other because in the original sheeva was his daughter and that means that since the timeline is restarted kintaro was never born and was not even a thought in the sky to begin with
