Hey, i was wondering if you could perhaps ad a bloodborne boss next? perhaps Gherman?
Is it possible for pontiff Sulyvahn ,because I think he would be great and maybe if he would be a boss for the mod (I hope but not forcing kinda way)
A question, nameless king had only his HP or you combined storm ruler and nameless king hp?
@@manuellamanna8776 More definitely. His original hp is around 7k, yet Radahn's meteor alone did 9k damage and still didn't kill him. Even with buffed hp, he still lost plenty of times, that's sad.
@@ros243 i think all of them were in NG+ so it makes sense
Against the dragonic tree sentinel he is like: "Don't use the old lightning incantations against me Sentinel, I was there when they were written."
Considering how miracles work in Dark Souls (you recite a tale and invoke the power described in it), it's more accurate to say he's the one those incantations try to depict.
@@kindlingkingGodwyn may have created the Lightning Spear, but NK and his father were the OG makers of the Sunlight Spear
They must have been written around that time, though. He probably had a role to play in their inception, as well.@@kindlingking
He bullied that poor guy😂
Seeing him shoot up into the air during the red lightning attack and drop back down with a strike of his own until finally beating the poor sentinel to death was cinematic.
Godrick: Rips the head off a dragon to graft it to his body.

@@kalebkrause1365 The 10k he took from the meteor plus the unlucky choice to go for a slow attack with a long wind-up. If he just started swinging, he'd have won.
Only reason he lost was he tanked his attack since the AI doesn’t have the intelligence to move
@@WoodlandDrakeProbably not
The fact that he just stood there and yanked Radahn’s meteor attack was certainly impressive, even if it ultimately cost him the win.
That lightning bolt he cast shoulda went somewhere.
Impressive?
Every boss lose their aggro whenever Radahn goes astronaut mode. The same happens with Placi
@cesaraugusto.9920 which honestly is the only reason he wins most of his boss vs boss fights, give the ai the ability to keep aggro on it and most of the time they dodge and radahn loses. He isn't even that hard of a boss for most builds

@@ironfromice Majority? did you actually count? because I didn't but if your counting name changes as different bosses than no as he beat the clergyman and godfrey,
Name change doesn't mean they aren't part of the same boss fight. The 2nd phases are part of the fight. Godfrey could have killed him easily even if his 2nd phase didnt trigger. I love how lore accurate the Placidusax battle was, His weapon and lighting was specifically designed to absolutely destroy dragons.
Clearly, Nameless King is dealing with many status effects that are outside of his league, but his ability to stagger is godlike. He managed to stomp out dragonlord placidusax like a true dragon slayer.
Legendary Dragonlord Slayer.
The Poise Values in DS3 ae a lot higher than Elden Ring, but that still wasn't enough for beat the power of Elden Rings bosses

Jeez, even without life steal, Malenia beat him before reaching phase 2. That boss is really crazy
I do find it genuinely impressive how well he did against the late game boss rush. Usually, DS3 bosses get folded at the later levels because the numbers are just so much higher in Elden Ring than they are in DS3, but Nameless King hits so ludicrously hard by the standards of DS3 that he’s genuinely competitive by Elden Ring’s higher damage and health standards.
i think his stats are buffed in this mod, no way Nameless King has this much health and damage

Not "most"
18:16
Nameless king: This may be your boss arena but this is my homefield
It's hard to balance something like this. Elden Ring's bosses are designed around a posture system that's easily broken but if you remove it it it puts Nameless King at a disadvantage since they'll outdamage him
I mean you can technically increase the poise of Elden Ring Bosses. Bjornthebear has done it multiple times.
both DS and ER bosses work the same way
it is just the moddder abilities that are limited
@@kaiserdetectivegolden2735 they dont, DS3 bosses stagger much less often and have less health, while the Elden ring bosses have much more health but stagger much more often
@@kaiserdetectivegolden2735 the poise stats are far different due to DS3's Broken poise system, all the enemies deal insane poise damage and to properly scale It they have a ton of poise too
@@cantaro5958Not to mention that most bosses in DS3 can't even be "staggered" at all to my knowledge. I think NK is one of the very few that actually DOES get staggered after enough heavy hits. Some bosses can be parried, sure, but I don't think you can "stance break" most of them.
Crazy, this guy had insane stats in DS3, but Elden Ring's numbers have gone up so much, he's pretty much fighting back using just the raw weight of his blows. He's a stagger machine.
He'd have done better if he had his mount.
@@tylerv5173 yeah if he had his dragon the scales on a lot of the fights would change a lot
There were some truly cinematic moments in this. Also, wow does Nameless King deal a lot of poise damage.
Yeah elden ring really lowered the poise alot.

10:03 What an epic treat for the eyes. The fire giant exploding while the king slowly approaches and after a few seconds the giant gets smacked to the ground. Incredible visuals.
Something about Nameless king swings makes it feel weighty and strong compared to elden ring bosses
It's only really matched by Godfrey, but even he met his match here in the poise department.
There's a subtle windup and recovery to his animations that give the illusion of heft, it looks very natural.
@@zarucarshaDark Souls 3 in general felt alot more Delicately crafted in it's Details to Animations and World-Building lore. But that's to be expected cause ER is open world, so they obviously can't put that same detail to a much MUCH bigger game.
It’s something I immediately noticed when trying out ds3 after elden ring. Sound design and animations in ds3 feel so much more powerful.
Anticipation, follow through, and recovery. Nameless King may have more keys to his attack animations then most the Elden cast.
Before anyone tries to force an opinion on me, Nameless was THE spectacle fight in DS3 and final challenge. He received more polish. That is not a statement on the objective or subjective nature of either game.
FINALLY my boy Maliketh gets some home field advantage! Favorite character in Elden Ring for sure
from what i have seen he wins nearly any boss in elden ring 1 v 1, the max hp reduction on his second phase is simply too strong ( and the dot too ), lore wise it makes sense, since he is feared by all the demigods.
Awesome idea. Thank you for this
It would be insane if you managed to get the King of Storms in there too. Would help the Nameless King during battles with much larger, higher DPS enemies.
Yeah, kinda unfair not putting him in, cause the Nameless King is a two phase bossfight
@@Unwritten_Memory though second phase is the real deal
King of storms against the dragon bosses would be insane but I imagine he’d have to be buffed to match Elden rings dragons, especially placidusax and fortisax.
@@Unwritten_MemoryTo be fair him fighting them at all has the unfair advantage where nameless kings stagger was way harder to do than elden ring since it wasn't designed around that. If both had similar staggers then nameless king would be getting folded, he just super armored everything
@@ragegaze3482well yeah cos every other stat in er is like double that of dark souls
The thing with the nameless king is that lore-wise, he probably stands a pretty good chance, but in gameplay, while he most often has the damage needed, he lacks the speed of elden ring bosses. All his attacks have windups that take forever.
Lore wise he probably cleans house lol. Especially with his king of storms phase. He's the god of war. Master strategist etc.

Man that fight with Radahn was insane!!! I for sure thought he was gonna end it before second phase with how many times he was staggered!!! That was a close one, I didn’t expect any bosses from Dark Souls to do that well!
to be fair the ds3 system has way higher poise, get rid of his ability to just tank through every attack without getting staggered like his opponents were and he'd be dinner for half the bosses. Nameless King still is one of my favorite bosses of the series and closes a gap in people's theories of who Gwyns firstborn is. If only we got to see him in his prime, also Midir would be OP in elden ring then because he doesn't get staggered until he has like 15% of his HP left
They will turn its damage to a minimum. What are we talking about, Malenia only at her 1st stage has more HP than Midir + she steals HP. (16k total HP of Midir vs 18k of Malenia at stage 1)
Okay dude? And Nameless King has 9000 HP base game in stage 2, I was talking about the stagger or stun mechanic. In DS3 Midir doesn't get staggered until he has very little HP left because his poise is so high. That's all I said, what's the offense about?

If the King of Storms pre-phase of Nameless King was included, a lot of the close ones wouldnt have had a shot. Mightve even made a major difference in others too
The king of Storms phase is quite lackluster in boss Vs boss encounters to my knowledge. I don't even think Storm King works properly outside of his own arena, not even is Dark Souls 3, much less another game.
If someone did manage to make him work, though, that would prolong the fights drastically and probably give Nameless and edge when he gets down, because while the dragon has low health and is easy to stagger, it can also enable the drive-by lightning and drop-in attacks, and the drop-in at least deals decent damage.

That movement in the fire giant at the start - straight out of an anime fight scene! 😂
The fact that he instinctively knew to go for the Fire Giant's wounded foot
Let's be honest here, the fact that the Nameless King did so well in spite of Dark Souls' much lower damage numbers is a testament to how strong a boss he is. Lest we all forget how little health you needed to get through Dark Souls 3 vs Elden Ring, and how much lower the damage numbers in that game as a whole are.
Yeah, Namelss King has 7,100hp Vs bosses well over 20k and Malenia having 33k hp
That's why ER's boss design failed against DS: if you want the boss fights to be more focused on the skill and less about equipment or player's preparation, reduce the maximum damage output of everything, maintaining the minimum. In this way there couldn't be any OP or oneshot build for everything and you encourage the player to understand properly the fights.
NK is a stagger machine in Elden Ring
@@matteopizzi9073 eldenring is a much longer/larger game. If they kept the hp values similar to previous titles then they couldn't let you leveling up nearly as much.
Inflated hp is a design choice to compensate for more levels and stagger mechanic. It balances out as about the the same in the end. Enemy stats and player stats are balanced at the same time in game development and the ability to pick your battles is why a boss seems oppressive to one player and easy to someone else. The openworld is the real issue here.
Yes if you scaled him with his moveset according to elden ring he wouldnt have lasted as long at all. Dudes poise and stagger was faaar higher than any elden ring boss. If you removed that retarded stagger he would die by almost all the bosses, even if yoy gave him more hp.
The ending of the radahn fight was badass. Bro dodged the second hit of Nameless' combo by riding around and then smacked his ass for the win
I love the fire giant and nameless king walking towards each other.
Like theyre doing the jojo and dio walk
The Nameless king vs Mogh was crazy.
No wonder Gwyns firstborn was known as a god of war, this guy demolishes bosses like a tank.
Malenia: "That's cute."
Godfrey: "Adorable, even."
Mohg: "Downright delicious."
Only demolishes because his stats are tweaked, otherwise he’s not getting past even radahn.
@idespiseamajorityofhumancr8504 the text at the beginning stated that this was with his DS3 stats.
@@erisimp you do know nameless king only has a little over 7k hp right? lol ur tripping if you can’t see he has much more health in this video (radahn meteor was a dead giveaway look at the dmg)
@@iamMildlyUpsetWithMostOfYouTub they never stated what NG cycle Nameless was, though, and he has close to 10k HP on NG+7. Go ahead and look it up if you don't believe me.
