- In this elden ring video I'm testing whether any of the most powerful bosses in elden ring can break through castle sol.
To test this I placed all of the strongest npcs the castle has and had them activate in succession to see if they can defend their fortress from the assault. These npcs include a lion guardian, two red eyed teleporting banished knights, three large castle exiles, commander Niall and his banished knights and some dude with a ballista.

None of her attacks can break these barricades... only her aeonia attack does. Pretty stupid but at least she got it. Maliketh made short work of it tho

I loved how Hoarah Loux trashed the ballista before actually killing the exiled knight. Like he was so mad at being shot immediately after his epic fight.

Majority of Bosses: I have an intricately-crafted moveset, designed to be a challenging-but-enjoyable spectacle.
Castle Sol: Hold my late game damage.
The way Radagon handled those three axe enemies was straight out of a movie
Then he looked at the camera all like: "That's what's up!"
It was too fucking perfect lmao

Maliketh's attempt at it was just pure elegance, grace, power, and sheer *FUCK YOU* energy to everybody at Castle Sol as he systematically obliterated them one by one.
It wasn’t even a challenge for him. He was nearly untouchable 😂😂
He is just too fast too furious! 😎

Banished Knights don't play, only reason I find em easy cause I don't let them breath.
After seeing how well the banished knights did against Mohg and the laser golem and how well Niall did against Melenia, I don't feel as bad for dying to them so often.
Niall is certainly challenging in his own right. I actually find him really tough simply because his moves hit like a freight train. I think he may actually hit harder per attack than a good few bosses even further in the game.
@@StrappingYoungLadam yeah he does, the fight against Melania proved that. I have NEVER seen anyone deal as much damage in a single blow against her as he did, unless it was one of the "bloodied" attacks. And I have watched a bunch of these challenges now.
The best strategy is to do the Niall glitch that instantly kills him
In both of the playthroughs I've done so far, I've had to basically use Moonveil as a "fixed cannon" kind of attack and stun him with the Ordovis (I think I misspelled that) Greatsword Ash of War when he gets too close. It's a real pain.
If Niall was a little faster he would be as difficult as Malenia. He was one of those bosses where I don't know how I won when I did, and I don't want to know. I just wanted to get the damn medal and leave at that point

Astel won wisely despite his modest HP. It feels like its AI is smarter than usual when it comes to keeping a reasonable distance from enemies, using moves very effectively and... I was blown away when Astel dodged the lion's biggest DPS move twice at 17:44 and 18:13

Did you see the vanishing knight dodging his pincers consistently? I swear Astel brings everybody's IQ up by being around
He uses the endgame variant, Stars of Darkness which has endgame HP and damage. Astel in general is such an awkward boss to face for the other bosses, i agree that its AI seems smart.
@@HMCarsSOAyeah the main issue is the enemies aim for Astel's head/body. This means unless they have some form of AOE, they will miss 90% of their hits. This allows Astel to win a lot more than it honestly should.
Well Astel *does* have the largest arena out of all of these except for Radahn. Radahn is never started far enough away to make use of his ranged options though. So it makes sense why Astel is so good at covering distances and making sure it can attack from afar.
I like how in 21:12 Astel was like
"Oh nice castle, but your Commander is dead, here's meteors to your castle."
"Still alive? Here comes laser beam."

- Radagon actually put up a really good fight, especially with how long he lasted at the end with Niall without getting hit
- It is genuinely strange seeing the Godskin duo have any sort of synchronicity.
- Mough and the Laser Golem getting sniped at the finish line was absolutely hilarious XD
- I love Astel's whole squirrely engagement, but I mostly love his and the final Guard's little standoff at the end there. It was like a wild-west shootout, because a single shot from one would definitely kill the other.
- Godfrey just showing us how the Chieftain of the badlands did things back home.
- Malenia's duel with Niall was pretty cool, considering we has able to keep up with her drain. Really funny how she basically stalled herself because the Niall fight didn't cause enough collateral damage to the barricade XD
- Maliketh did not come to fight, he came to carry out executions.

It's mainly because unlike players, bosses don't get i-frames upon getting hit. Same deal as with lasers.
It has a lingering effect after the initial breath.

@@Yokai_Yuri the thing is that mohg is already an end game boss with endgame stats, so that's not that big an issue.
main reason why malenia got shit on by mohg is that malenia has really bad poise and bleed (and frost but irrelevant for mohg) procs stagger her out of her animations and once mohg hits his phase transition and does the nihil thing, almost everything just dies.
I like the part where Maliketh the black blade says "It's bladin' time" and blades all over Niall within 20 seconds.
Maliketh finishing off the ballista was pure gold

Every phase of Maliketh's invasion felt SO personal 😂
Gotta hand it to Niall against Malenia. He had an honestly very good moveset to deal with her at melee range, at least her 1st phase. Ofc he folds to Scarlet Aeonia like just about every other enemy she faces, but still, A for effort on Niall's part.
Loved the godskins this time, they truly were working in tandem, linking attacks, helping each other, damn that was a good fight.
Also, the fight between Niall and Mohg really felt like the commander underestimated Moghs power since he was almost dead and, as soon as hesaw his guard evaporate in seconds, he really put serious mode. Unfortunately, he failed.
Also also, ive said it before and ill say it again, i love radagons moveset. So powerful, giving the impression that each hit is really designed to kill in one shot. Such a shame his poise is so low.

Was surprised how much Malenia struggled. Not surprised by how much Maliketh badassed everyone. That fight was almost as terrifying and Malenia, honestly. He was so hyper aggressive, you felt like you were pressed into bad decisions constantly.
malenia's fight was amazing it was like a fallen angel descending upon the castle near the end. thanks for making these fight once again bjornthebear. i like the break through casle/village/wall or whatever series you make though it likely takes alot of your time to make compared to the arena match ups.
