- Our viewer Richard sent us some Seabrooks crisps: Crinkles and Loaded Curly Fries. Besides the standard flavors like prawn cocktail and cheese and onion, we had some unique flavors such as Cajun Spice and Nacho Cheese and Jalapeno.

The thing to remember with the UK is when we say "spicy" we mean a blend of spices - it doesn't automatically infer heat.
Definitely a bit different from how it's used here.
I was disappointed in the strength of the jalapeno and cheese fries when I bought them, certainly didn't taste "loaded" and didn't buy them again.
Have you tried the Cajun ones? I think they're more flavorful and a bit more spicy.

Hi Beverley, wow, only one flavor? Richard has sent us Seabrook crisps a few times. Some had roast dinner flavors (a collaboration with Aunt Bessie's).
Oh nice i like Seabrooks crisps. I have tried most of these and liked them but was a bit disappointed with the cheese and Jalapeno flavour, Walkers max strong jalapeno & cheese have a lot more spice to them, i can't remember if you have tried those.
Hi Keza! The cheese and jalapeno seemed to have more of a cheese flavour over jalapeno, the cajun variety did have a lot of flavour to it and was more on the spicey side. We've had Walkers Max and Sensations (the Kentucky Fried Chicken ones come to mind) but I don't believe we tried Walkers cheese and jalapeno. Thank you for watching and Happy Tuesday to you! :)

All seabrookes crisps are crinkle cut , as for the loaded fries i find the flavours pretty weak
We thought the loaded ones had more flavor than the crisps in the regular line. Do you have a favorite crisp brand?
@@FinnLovesFood Yes i do and it's Golden Wonder followed by Smith's , Seabrook's and then Aldi's own brand ( snackrite ) , have a good weekend

Noooo Tina!!!!! You were slightly wrong with the “colour coded crisp packet” ruling!!😳😳
GREEN is the right colour for Cheese n Onion - even though Walkers aka Lays *spits company brand name out in anger* - without asking the permission of us in the UK 😱😱!!! Altered the C&O colour packet to Blue which, since Adam was a little boy, playing in the garden of Eden, was always the packet colour for S&V!!!! … but you had heard all about this, hadn’t you? Me? Bitter about it? Yes.. of course!! My childhood crisp packet colour code memories gone forever! 😩😂
Yellow is the packet colour for chicken flavour crisps (- but, years ago, in the 70’s, - there was a “stripe” of yellow colouring on a C&O Packet, to indicate the cheesy bit probably!)
Some of the colours still being used include:-
A reddish/orange/brownish combo is/was Bacon & Smokey Bacon flavour
Pink = prawn cocktail
Light Blue for Thai Sweet Chilli (ridge cut)
When new and limited edition crisps are being launched - there must be “discussions” around the Marketing Team table about what colour to choose! 😬😄
The “heated debate” about the rights and wrongs of crisp flavour packet colour coding is still going on!
I will always be Team S&V=Blue C&O=Green 😂😂
Green would make sense as an onion color. I could even see yellow for cheese, but not seeing the blue connection for cheese and onion! 🙂

The first time I had Seabrook crisps was just before Christmas and I enjoyed the flavour of the cheese and onion, I remember when cheese and onion crisps came out in the 60s from Golden Wonder and there was more onion than cheese flavour as I remember, it's amazing the flavours they come up with and how they do it, I still remember when we got little blue bags of salt in the packet of crisps so you could decide for yourself lol
Just this past Christmas? We do appreciate cheese and onion flavor since it's a rarity here.
There are so many different flavours now I often wonder who comes up with them, especially when there wasn't any flavours apart from fried crisps/chips to which you put your own salt on

Hi Joe! We're still on the fense as far as a fave - all the Walkers, Tyrrels, Roysters and others we've tried so far were enjoyable. Love the meat-flavoured ones as well as the cheese and onion. You have an excellent variety over there :) Happy Tuesday!
Im a uk soldier i love your simplicity. If it tastes good then its good. I can post rations what we eat im currently in calgary canada but we do get proper uk shipped stuff because because its a lil bit of britain so i can post
