thank you so much for collab with me it was fun to be apart of the video and edit it :)
You did great, looking forward to the MatPat videos lol
Ye
why do i have a feeling that foxy's 1/1000 chance to spawn on night 2 was supposed to be 1/100 and scott accidentally put in an extra 0
Well, I believe it's right. The developer probably wanted Foxy to officially start on night 3, but left him on night 2 as an easter egg
I dunno, Occam's Razor suggests that a value typo is a much more probable explanation than "easter egging" a core gameplay character by one night.
@@Cyrusjr.I hate Occam’s Razor. It should just be renamed to common sense, or “don’t over think it”. Occam’s razor doesn’t “suggest” anything either. It’s just dumb, and sounds dumb
@@liamferrante3721 The issue of that attitude is that "common sense" is subjective and differs for every person. Occam's Razor firmly defines an applied concept of logical thinking, and therefore has a valid reason to exist.
@@liamferrante3721dude why are you such a hater
Ah so that's why there is no Custom Night. So many things are tied to Springtrap's AI Level that setting it too high would make the night legitimately impossible to beat.
Would be interesting to see what it would look like to have him set to 20. Like would you instantly die or would characters straight up break since they're designed with specific AI Levels in mind?
The level can technically only go up to 10, but I've never tried. YT shorts idea?
@@GameExploitersActually I have FNaF 3 files but I never thought to set Springtrap to his true max.
i have seen a video displaying it but its on spanish tell me if u want the link it if u understand spanish
@@FreddyIsHere25 I'm learning Spanish

No way the intro ended at 0:15 and it went right into the video after that.
I was expecting a 1 hour long introduction about what's Fnaf, how it was Scott's last game, how it was created based on the critics on his last game, the impact it had on the game industry, his copycats, the downfall of mascot horror and all that paddling people do when talking about anything about FNAF, real props to you, dude lol
True that lol 😂
Thats a problem with any form of journalism these days. You know those articles that "answer" a question youve googled? But first, they have 8 different paragraphs about stupid fucking shit first? It's designed to have you scroll through and be introduced to as many ads as possible, before you reach your answer. I deal with this shit all day long. I rate these things and assign them quality ratings and this helps shape search engines.
@@jg2283 Oh my gosh yes, I hate these sites, I just didn't expect to come into the videos too, like, there were always videos like this, but at first I could tell they were just wasting my time, now, almost every video does this
I got a habit of skipping the first 10% of a video because it’s usually a bunch of useless stuff
@@bulb9970 That's great, it saves your time, depending on the video, I skip up until 40%, content farm is crazy
Very interesting video, although there are a few things you got wrong here or missed out
-Phantom Mangle can become active from Night 2 onward, not from Night 3 onward
-Phantom Foxy can appear before it hits 1AM, and is the only phantom who can do so
-Springtrap cannot enter vents until it hits 1AM, much like phantoms spawning
Otherwise this info is pretty interesting to know
Thanks for pointing out the mistakes. It was a lot of research, so we might have indeed missed some things
I haven't done a deep dive into FNaF3 AI yet, but I had to check that Springtrap one and that's pretty useful. There's a funny technicality too, where that isn't true for non-15-second interval movements on the Let's Player Demo on Night 4.
@@GameExploiters Also, there *is* some way that the game can phantom jumpscare you twice in a row - Markiplier noticeably experience two phantoms within two seconds.
@@g80gztsomeone did get three jump scares at the same time
When the game first came out, I bet night 6 by opening the camera and doing nothing. Springtrap never made it to my office and I didn't get any vent errors. At least now the vent errors are explained, but I still don't know why Springtrap couldn't move forward or go in a vent long enough for me to win
Since Springtrap's movement is RNG based and he can move both forward and backwards, you can theoretically win every night by doing absolutely nothing if you get lucky enough.
Springtrap must have got lost.
@@errorcringyname4044SpringTrap: ah shoot, I went through the bathroom vent, I need to start putting maps in these vents.
Probably one of my most fascinating encounters from playing this game was encountering both the Shadow Freddy and Paper Plate easter eggs on the same screen.
I knew that these screens were rare, but not THAT rare, so I didn't think anything of it until way later someone informed me of their respective 1/10,000 chances.
Would that then make this a 1/100,000,000 (0.000001%) occurrence?? Because if so, that is genuinely absurd!
Luckily, I was streaming when I had this happen. so I have this moment on record.
Here is the VOD linked with the timestamp as proof:
czcams.com/video/9PNwwkeMyYM/video.htmlsi=iRNYx_5ufhbb_yTX&t=8929
Oh wow, thats some crazy luck
The "shadow freddy" and "paperplate2" odds are rolled consecutively and are correlated. Of the 65,536 seeds, 1 allows this to happen, so the exact odds end up unfortunately only being 1/65,536.
@@itztaken Could you explain in more detail?
@@SSRiles Shadow Freddy and that Paper Plate's appearance checks are right after each other when you open the cameras. Clickteam Fusion only generates 16-bit integers, and obviously the RNG function is deterministic based on the seed. So checking how many seeds happen to return 1, then 1 for the next seed, when running Random(10000), tells you how likely it is that both of them spawn at the same time. There is one (1) seed that does that, of the 65,536 seeds, and the seeds are equiprobable, so there is a 1/65,536 chance of that occurring each time you open the cameras.
@@itztakenoh hey itztaken! Cool to see you here man!
If you don't understand the Springtrap equation, let me explain:
10 - [Springtrap's AI level] + [A random number between 1 and 15] - [Total Turns]
Honestly, mechanically this might just be the best game. You need to strategize, make decisions if to seal the vent or reboot the camras, you leaarn to seal vents in the cameras you lead Springtrap to, the Phantoms are a distractions you need to learn to ignore, you actually USE the camera systems, you learn the layout and the textures to find the well-hidden-menace and Springtrap himself is extremely active and dangerous, as such, you need to take him completely seriously and not break your attention away unless it is absolutely NECCESARY, you even learn how to lure Springtrap around when the cameras break. Overall, the game is a game of chess against Springtrap and his demonic allies, you need to learn to counter his every move and attempt to outsmart you
True!
Too bad I can't even see where tf he is most of the time

5:28 huhI've seen people get jumpscared by multiple phantoms at the same time
Sometimes it feels like Springtrap moves at the speed of light
Thank you ao much for covering Fnaf 3, idk if it's an unpopular opinion but this is my favorite game in the franchise
I remember when I was younger that I managed to beat FNaF 3 just by keeping Springtrap in CAM 09, spamming the Audio lure there, taking care in avoiding the Phantoms, fixing the errors when needed
I didn't beat Night 6 this way sadly but I was surprised I could beat the first 5 nights
I’m loving these AI deep dive videos on FNAF games! Recently I’ve been recreating the games in Scratch (yes SCRATCH) and it really helps to have an accurate description of how the code works. So far I’ve done FNAF 1 and FNAF 2, but fnaf 2 was much harder since I couldn’t find an AI guide like this one. Hopefully this will help me in the future 😁👍
I loved scratch as a kid, ill have to find those and check em out!
I’m having a full breakdown too
no random ventulation error, it does make night 6 more fair
SECOND
ive been waiting for this for a while i can not wait until the FNAF4 and FNAF SL video.
i hope to continue to enjoy this content as it contains a lot of info that i can use.
ok the way u explained this is perfect. there were some parts which i didnt understand that well but most of it i understand it. i would like to see a sister location breakdown of the mechanics like the funtime auditorium or the desk sequence. the custom night i feel it could make its video on its own separated from the main game lol
Been waiting for this! Great video, Really informative!
Thank you for this quality video. Very well made and fun to watch❤
I love these videos
Always neat to see how a game works so all these fnaf ai videos is really cool
I have been waiting long for this, thank you
really good video i really liked the visuals and explanations keep it up
Great video I liked the visuals a lot! I sometimes had a hard time understanding what you said, though the visuals make up for that, I'm sure over time your accent will be less when you speak english, I had the same issue myself! 😅
The most worthy channel I've ever subbed to these last months.
This video is wonderful, keep doing those
Finally, the video we all was waiting for
Okay but that 10 second jumpscare cooldown doesn't make sense when you remember that Markiplier got jumpscared by like 3 phantoms at once in his playthrough
You have very high potential please keep on going
I love fnaf ai breakdowns!! I know so much about the first few games but I still like watching them anyways I just love hearing the same info be repeated to me by different people lol. Though I do know the least about fnaf 3, idk springtrap’s ai is just confusingggg. Cool video 👍👍
Amazing video dawg
Thank you so much!!
8:45 first time ever seeing him do that run.
The guy who explained the system errors and the easter eggs has the most soothing voice and accent ever. I was mesmerized!
4:23 mangle can spawn on night 2. Chances are low but I’ve seen itb
Heh, so technically speaking, Springtrap wasnt using his maximum power to kill us.......hmm
crazy seeing the odds for all the easter eggs knowing i’ve seen all of them in my total of like 30 hours in the game
Finally a video explaining how springtrap works😀
These vids are so fun and interesting
It is so surprising how much the Freddy Files gets wrong about every game, kind of makes me wonder if Scott even read the book
Yes, Information!
wish i could understand this video
Fun fact: if you have fast nights activated on night 1, phone guy won’t even be able to finish the call.
Spiff is gonna love this one.
great video
I love how fnaf's AI system is just a bunch of counters and dice
It's interesting that people think the hallucinations are a bug, seeing as Phone Dude says "you'll start seeing some craaaazy shit, man. Keep that air flowin'!"
Nice video
Please do one for fnaf 4 as well, these are extremely intriguing and i love to see how the internal mechanics of the game work
@ItzTaken has already done this
I don’t know why, but I got a random vent error on night 6. I got jumpscared by Freddy, I immediately rebooted the vents, but then after about 10 seconds I got a random one. Is this because I wasn’t looking at the cameras? I was trying the strategy where you let Freddy jumpscare you, they you just afk (although the strategy I have seen includes opening the cameras frequently for a moment, I didn’t do that, because I thought there can be no vent errors).
So, there can be if you aren’t using the cameras frequently enough?
(Sorry for the long comment, I just want to ask if someone knows)
Anyone else notice the fake "Night 7" on the top right corner?
i had a great time playing fnaf 3 on help wanted one i was doing it and what made it so memorable is that i kept loosing super fast even though from what my brother said who has beaten help wanted what was happening to me was rare idk how mutch truth there is to that but he did say that through all his playthroughs and all the ytbers he has watched he has never seen somone get that bad of springtrap rng. and this went on for an hour before i buckled down and beat it but it was so funny at the time because i would be doing seemilgly everything right and then the oxygen would die once i would reboot it and then bam he would be at the door. it was an amazing memory and when the diffuculty dident let up and i finally beat it even still it felt awsome. i wonder if anyone else had equaly bad luck with the rng like i did
I literally beat the game by using the audio lure on the same camera he was on. That's what I and many thought with how poor the camera quality was along with how dark it was.
Nice one! Could you maybe try the FNAF SL Main Game breakdown? Noone seemingly did that
This is so underrated
Nice
Hello great video, but i have some questions regarding the reboot system, you said that it take 4-10 seconds to reboot one system alone, but how does that happens exactly? you mentioned the 1-3 random number that will be the counter begin, so if the number is 1 then we have 9 seconds till it reachs 10 seconds, right? so, how it can take 10 seconds for the reboot? or 4 seconds if the intial number is at max 3? After the random number is choosen, is it 1 second for each number added? I went into my gameplays and manualy timed some reboot of one system and found times between 5-8 seconds, never 9 or 10 seconds for one reboot, i'm so confused about the times, thank you and sorry if my english is no good.
this video is in dire need of captions
Yes. Ik lmao
holy shit that one picture of scott cawthokn neearly made me piss myself from laughert
It’s strange how throughout the series those rare screens and hallucinations have like a 1/1000 or 1/10000 chance of happening, but people find them relatively quickly as if it were 1/50.
Are those chances not that small afterall or the game engine’s random system is biased?
Dang now the random reddit post i made 2 years ago asking how the fnaf 3 ai works that i completely forgot about and only disovered was the top result a few weeks ago will no longer be the top result for "how does fnaf 3 ai work" 😔 There goes my non existant internet clout 😢
Still a good video though!
for every sixty movement opportunities, a minute passes.
together we can stop this!
this channels good
The first guy explaining system errors was so hard to understand 😭
"You have a 10 second cooldown before a phantom can jumpscare you after another one does."
BB and Chica in Mark's video: "Nah bro."
But I do wonder this.
Do the phantom jumpscares, Phantom Mangle's audio disturbance, Phantom Puppet's disturbance, and the blackouts cause Springtrap to move faster/more often, or affect him in any way apart from being able to attack when inside the Office/at the door?
I feel like he moves much quicker when that stuff happens, and the multiple Springtrap hallucination isn't part of what I mean, I just mean does it have an impact on the real Springtrap movement.
Also, is it a good idea to force a jumpscare? Like if I use audio lure and know Phantom Freddy is at the window, should I let him jumpscare me to get him out the way?
This might have changed in later versions, but im not sure. But i can assure you that there is an actual cooldown in the code
got the man on cam 9 i come off moniter for a second and hes usain bolted his way down to my door
I clearly remember that phantom foxy in old mobile version could stand for a few seconds when you look at him before jumpscaring you. Still don't know if it was intended to be like this or it was a bug
You have to look at him fully
7:14 No way that's true I remember when I played Fnaf 3 I kept him at cam 9 and he'd just repeatedly go into the sealed vent 10 times in a row and that happened multiple times
Interesting if you could make this into armor and have a non glass layer to protect its fragile points
Would i be invincible
Edit: Oh shit I got a heart from the guy in the video
But this comment was supposed to go on a video about Rupert's drop
A indestructible glass except at the tail XD
That being said I'm still excited to watch this video as I love fnaf!
I honestly didnt understand it either, but it was one of the first comments so i decided to give it a heart lmao
Is there anything on the feasibility of certain movements? Like, can you get him from 2 to 5? What counts as adjacent rooms
Cams right against each other
You forgot the cupcake easter egg in the office
Lmao someone beat Tech Rules to the punch again
Love it however phantom mangle does spawn on night 1, at least for me it did and Freddy spawned on night 2
" Six Nights at Springtrap's" 💀

if there’s no vent error in night 6, why should I worry to look on cameras? can’t I just stare the front of my office? no phantoms will appear (except freddy, but it’s easy to deal with him)
you'll still get a ventilation error in 20 seconds if you're sitting in the office without doing anything.
if you've ever had to stare down springtrap at 5am, you might've noticed that you got a vent error way sooner you should've. this is why.
YES I NEW VIDEO
Is it possible for him to go from cam 9 to your office? Because I feel like this happened to me on night five. I have been trying to beat night five for a while lol
Seal the Cam 09 vent.
He is using it to skip the majority of the map.
Awesome video, I recommend pacing a bit slower in your speaking. What you're saying is very interesting, but each point you speak so fast through them. In my opinion.
It was kinda hard. The vid was already 12 minutes long and I didnt want to make it too slow lol
@@GameExploiters you'd be surprised the time your audience would be willing to sit down and listen to you. Great video tho, cheers
Damn, after watching this video, I feel like my fnaf 3 is gonna be harder.. (not fnaf, just fnach)
I've had Springtrap appear at two locations at once several times without a vent error in progress during any of them, what's up with that? I've seen a few people mentioning similar situations in comments on Steam, too
Maybe when it happens without a vent error it's just a bug?
It's a hallucination.
I've had this happen to me even after I've fixed ventilation.
careful caseoh is watching you….
But what's the deal with ventilation... what kinda drugs are the place filled with?
YOOOOO
3:58 isn't that less than a second
Yep. All (old) fnaf games run at 60 FPS, so thats correct
That means Frame exploits can be used there.
@@GameExploiters how the heck am I supposed to change the camera in time if I have less then a second to react
@@thesmilingman7576 treat the cam like you're always expecting him to be there
To be honest I think springtraps AI was pretty complicated, I don't know code or anything but would that be hard for him to do or?
it’s complicated to someone who didn’t make it, but all Scott really did was base whether it moves or not on a few different factors.
What is the Font called in the Thumbnail?
"Doctor Glitch"
Much love
Are the chances of some of the easter eggs higher in the mobile version? I remember seeing the Springbonnie poster and the Golden Cupcake, but i think it was on the mobile version and not the PC one.
It didn't even take that long
no they are not

There’s a 10 second cooldown for phantoms jumpscaring you? Then why was Markiplier absolutely bombarded in some circumstances? I know one time he got hit with Balloon Boy and then like 2-3 seconds later Chica hit him.
