Hello great video, but i have some questions regarding the reboot system, you said that it take 4-10 seconds to reboot one system alone, but how does that happens exactly? you mentioned the 1-3 random number that will be the counter begin, so if the number is 1 then we have 9 seconds till it reachs 10 seconds, right? so, how it can take 10 seconds for the reboot? or 4 seconds if the intial number is at max 3? After the random number is choosen, is it 1 second for each number added? I went into my gameplays and manualy timed some reboot of one system and found times between 5-8 seconds, never 9 or 10 seconds for one reboot, i'm so confused about the times, thank you and sorry if my english is no good.

Seems like most of the characters start to become buggy at max difficulty. I imagine the level cap was an easier solution to fixing the problem than readjusting all the character AI's to work properly up to 20.
Remember when Scott considered doing this very same thing for SL 10/20 by capping the AI at 15, but decided against it since the mode would be built upon a lie? I forgot his exact words, but that was the reasoning.
It's not even custom. They're all just presets in that game.

Fun fact in fnaf 1, the hardest freddy can get is AI level 9. But this is because at AI level 9, he reaches maximum movement speed so increasing the AI level further than that will not change his behavior

@@namesmitt if the random number is lower or equal to the AI level, then they move. How ever for freddy the actual equation used is different than every other animatronic so at AI level 9, no matter what the random number is, he will still move and never fail
You’re confusing his camera cooldown for his movement formula. At 10 or above, he can’t be stalled by being watched anymore because 1000 - AI * 100 is 0 frames of cooldown, but he still needs to succeed his X in 20 chance to actually advance.

I have a suggestion. Maybe show us how every FNaF game plays out on double of movement opportunities. (2x faster)
I’m curious, is Foxy set to always be above 0 too? Since he still kills when he’s “not active”
Foxy operates on an always-increasing timer; the only thing his AI does is determine how high the timer needs to be before he can move.
okay so, this isn't the first time someone has tried and recorded (and beaten) true 10/20. look it up. basically the thing is, the ai is capped not because its too hard, but because it lets you exploit how the game (more specifically foxy) works to make it super easy.
Others have already commented this but i figured I would comment myself, I beat “true” 10/20 a little over a year ago on my second channel. Huh, what's funny though is that this actually fits with how FNaF1 & FNaF 3 were developed: Scott when making FNaF 1: Oh man, everyone at Max Difficulty is really hard. Eh I'll leave it in for people to mess around with. Doubt anyone can beat it though. Scott when making FNaF 2: Oh man, everyone at Max Difficulty is really hard. Guess I better add some limitations to make it beatable so people don't go crazy trying to win. Will have to lie about the AI Levels but no one will notice. Scott when making FNaF 3: Ok everyone at Max Difficulty is actually impossible, guess I just won't include a Custom Night because people would be able to tell that the higher AI Levels won't change anything.

Considering how 20 mode is very difficult and luck based as is, maybe Scott wanted to make it so it was actually possible to complete? With how notorious the mode is as we know it, I imagine a true 20 mode is probably nearly impossible (if possible at all).
I don't think he necessarily made it so "10/20 mode is possible". He clarified many times that he wanted them to be impossible. I'd say he just wanted each animatronic to be "fair" at level 20 separately. If you set a single character to level 20, it shouldn't insta-kill you.
1:38 brayden modified the game and he beat it, you can found the video on his secondary channel (brayden 2). He said that True 10/20 is way easier than "False?" 10/20.

@@KaKa-ey5ou basically when foxy has entered his kill stage he can only kill you if you flash the hall or if you hit a 10 second interval without a blackout happening. Because of everyone’s increased AI you will pretty much always have a blackout every time you drop the monitor, meaning you can cover up all 10 second intervals all night, making foxy basically non existent. This also means you can wind an extra second longer every flip because you don’t need to worry about keeping foxy from entering his kill stage, making toy Bonnie much much easier to compensate for.

From what I remember, Withered Foxy's capped at 17 because if it goes any higher, he immediately succeeds his movement opportunities and whenever you flash the hallway, he would immediately jumpscare the player. Golden Freddy could be capped at 10 to make him appear rarer and more mysterious, perhaps? Regarding the other animatronics, I have no idea, maybe Scott wanted to make their movements less predictable? 75% chance to move at AI level 15 opposed to 100% chance to move at AI level 20.
You're probably right about it being to make them less predictable, because in fnaf 1, bonnie and chica have several rooms they can decide to move to (and bonnie just teleports) while in fnaf 2, they all have a set path which they take every time. So in fnaf 1 it's totally random when they show up, while in fnaf 2 you'd always know exactly where they are without the cap
iirc true 10/20 has been completed with mfa editing by brayden, meaning withered foxy is possible at 20. Scott probably just thought he was too difficult at that level

One thing I think would’ve been good to mention too is *why the Paperpals have their own A.I counter. It’s part of an Easter egg of sorts. Most everyone was aware that the paperpals were able to appear in your office but it was assumed that withered chica would bring them in (for whatever reason) or it was a random chance. However this isn’t the case. The A.I level you showed is actually the deciding factor in if the paper pals will appear in your office. They work like every other animatronic as you described so I won’t re-tread old ground. The only additional info is that there is a 1% chance their A.I level will actually be high enough to let them move when starting a night as they can only be set to either one or zero. This isn’t including how lucky you’d have to get with all the checks. Secondly is that there is code that specifically prevents their A.I level going up on any night other than night 7 meaning they will only have the chance to appear on custom night and none of the other 6
