Let me remind people Trump and REPUBLICANS had the house and senate in 2017 - 2018 they could have pushed thru border funding down party lines , INSTEAD THEY GAVE HUGE TAX CUTS FOR THE WEALTHY down party lines , and use the border as a WEDGE issue .
Biden reversed all of Trumps policies immediately after taking office- so it would not have mattered - Biden’s WH has rewritten all of the procedures for the US Border Patrol as well - now they are powerless.

@@branjohnson3905 The Senate negotiated real border reforms in the bill that Trump just killed. It included the ability to completely shut the border down, increased funding and hiring for the BP, increased funding to process claims and increased authority to reject illegal crossers.
But Trump doesn't want to Biden to pass anything meaningful in an election year. He can't allow him to get a political win.

She sat there while Johnson claimed that "by every metric" Joe Biden's administration is a failure, and the best followup she had was, "Some say the Republican's haven't accomplished anything". How about job creation, or the unemployment rate, or GDP, or energy production, or the stock market, or infrastructure, or.... How is she so unprepared for this job? This interview was sad.

Go back and watch all of the 2019 Democratic Presidential Debates. Pay particular attention to the ones where Jorge Ramos and Jose Diaz-Balart pigeon hole the candidates into stating publicly that they were going to effectively rid the US of any immigration law e.g. Joe Biden says he isn't going to deport anybody who doesn't commit a "major crime" and Julián Castro says he is going to get rid of 8 USC 1325.
