Urgh, I can't stand it when politicians make the claim that it's 'what the people want' in order to justify decisions they have made because THEY want it. As soon as I hear a politician make this claim, their credibility plummets to zero in my eyes.

You don’t need the audio tapes sent to all of Congress to make sure they match the transcript, you can just get a couple of people to do that job of verifying they match without releasing it to all of Congress. “What’s the big deal“? 🙄
The Republican author of the Biden report, Mr Hur, said the transcript matches the audio tape and his investigation. Unlike the Mueller Report on Trump which was very damning, none of the Biden report was redated. Most of the Muller report was in fact redacted. I got a copy and read it. If CNN had done that they would have been able to expose the hypocrisy of Mace and the other MAGA Congressional sell outs who are Hell bent on trying to make Biden look at least as bad as Trump. I'm glad they called her out on the real point of obtaining the audio but by letting Mace spew her conspiracy theories they in fact enable her reprehensible behavior and lend credibility to her BS.

It sounds like you did not read my first statement correctly or you are trying to infer somehow that I represented myself as a policy expert, which is not at all what my statement reflects. The purpose of my comment was simply trying to get him to explain his views of the policies of each party, perhaps to shine a light on why he made such a crude and obtuse comment with no justification or reasons given. You see, unlike most of the people like you, I don't judge people for their beliefs and respect their right to have them, but it does frustrate me when I see people making general and insulting statements about over half of the population of this country without stating why he feels like that and which Republican policies he disagrees with so passionately that he, again, insults over half of the population of the United States of America. I feel if you are going to insult that many people, you should be man enough to say why. I don't know, that might sound strange to you, but I was raised by my Father to stand by what I say and be ready to defend my position without wavering to peer pressure or attacks from people acting in bad faith. I guess you weren't since you obviously missed the entire context of my statement. I will be happy any time and anywhere to state what I believe, who I support and specific reasons for why and how I came to MY conclusions and opinions. I hope that clarifies your obvious initial misinterpretation, whether it was intentional or not.

It's South Carolina... I'm a New England transplant now living in rural North Carolina. I like living in the country, but the attitudes of many of the local people... are what they are. I grew up in a very different environment with very different influences. Nancy Mace probably represents her district well. She and many of her constituents undoubtedly clash with my attitudes and views too. They often don't align with the influences that shaped my upbringing either. If I were wealthier and had more options perhaps I'd live somewhere else.
