- In my journey towards optimizing our core products, I've recognized the need to make some tough decisions. I've had to part ways with products and services that weren't performing well financially. And now, I'm taking a bold step by relinquishing some of my responsibilities. I'm entrusting Taylor and Jacob with more responsibilities, effectively 'firing' myself from certain roles.
Letting go is one of the most challenging aspects of being a business owner. There's often a belief that no one else can do the job as well as you can. While that might be partially true, I'm embracing the wisdom of Dan Martell, who once said, '50% done by someone else is 100% awesome.'
The primary objective of these changes is to free up my time from office tasks and allow me to focus on sales. While my office is comfortable and convenient, I realize that maintaining the status quo will result in slow or negligible growth. It's time to step out of my comfort zone and seize new opportunities for growth.

It's always a great idea to know how to do all the things in your shop. It's not always a great idea to DO all the things in your shop.
I agree. I'm forgetting how to do some things thought. That's why we're working on SOPs.
Sally has been posting up SOPs around the shop. Eventually I want to have labeled QR codes around the shop that show videos for each process. Though some things are certainly better written.
I have a bunch of QR codes around the office. They're great. Use a service like short.io so you can change the codes dynamically if you need to.
I can't let go of everything lol, were just starting out and both my wife and I are still working full-time and I have a hard time letting my wife do things and figure it out and learn at her own pace and I'm always like here love I'll do it (cuz I know how and I'm faster) but I'm finding it's burning me out and I think pushing her away from the business slowly cuz she never looks too impressed when I do it 😢

It's in a business park so I'd say it's not either but closer to warehouse.
When you were brokering some jobs out, did you try to use local shops or ? Also have you ever had a shop u used ever contact your customer directly, kinda like hey we printed your sign and we can save u money, don't use that guy again he doesn't even print his own work..???...
I can typically do all that my other local shops can do. I still broker almost every day. I'll work on a video on the matter.
