Knock-off? Fall Off!

A bit of a look at cheap Ram Mount copy parts and the role they played in an accident. Have a look at the table of measurements to see how the knock-off offers insufficient retention of the balls and attached equipment.
[EDIT] following the making of this film the knock-off parts were tested with a home-made rig and a force of appx 178 N pulled the arm from the ball with the arm wingnut tightened as far as possible.
