Nemuri Kyoshiro lived a solitary life, turning a blind eye to duty, human emotions, and compassion after learning the cruel secret of his birth. At the behest of the original author, Renzaburo Shibata, Masakazu Tamura was chosen as the lead actor. With his beauty and nihilistic demeanor, he captivated women while disposing of looming incidents using his secret technique, the "Engetsu Sappo" (Full Moon Assassination) style.

This episode is a reprise of one of Raizo Ichikawa episodes from his Sleepy eyes series ,except for the Kid's Harakiri attempt.
In the 1960s film two, Nemuri refuses to do anything further for the dojo, and the further hidden ninja plot is new. I like this one better.
A lot of action, a lot of intrigue, swashbuckling, samurai action, smooth and deadly yes
Best episode so far. Couldn't tell which way the plot would turn, a couple nice twists, good sword play and a neat gut punch at the end.
There are so many series on this channel now. Are any of them as good as this one?

I have no idea why the Asians have this fascination for ginseng, I have dug ginseng most of my younger years in the Great Smoky mountains North Carolina and as far as I can see it really doesn't have any medicinal purposes, I know that they think it is some kind of Viagra for old men because of its shape, it has three forks on the root that's why they call it a man root, but it cures nothing, not even a stomach ache.
