Set the aerial image as the base layer. Set the map overlay to 2d map. Adjust overlay transparency to 70. Now you should be able to see docks and contours.
They split the Ozarks into separate ‘regions’, but Missouri and Arkansas border each other to make people buy two different regions. We should be able to pick our states, to package together.
Hello, I had been having issues with getting Smart Strike to work with water level offset on the new VX product. Our lakes out West are all suffering from drought conditions and are very low. When I input the actual water level (-65 feet) and then run Smart Strike, the recommended spots are all essentially up on dry land. Pretty tough to get them to bite there. After a few go rounds with Humminbird tech support, they now tell me that the water level offset function does not work with Smart Strike! They tell me I need to input 0 for the water level offset. Obviously, there can be a huge difference in underwater topology between full pool and -65 feet, so the Smart Strike highlighted areas are a pretty useless feature unless your lake is always at/near full pool. Seems like this would be a relatively simple software fix to take the offset into account and recalculate the recommended areas.
Yes, Smartstrike works well if your offset is less than say 10 feet but much more than that you may have suggested spots to fish on dry land. Hopefully this will get fixed with a software update.
It is just another coloration that some people might like better than the other color options. I honestly think the wiser choice is the standard version.

If the standard version has depth color palettes, then what is the reason for having/needing 2D shaded relief in the premium model?

That is correct, but you have 3 settings. That can be pre set.
