According to other videos I've seen, power cord was not needed and the adapter cable plugs directly to the ethernet port on back of the helix unit. From this video you're showing a power cord. Is the image transducer connected to a battery?

I been watching your video and om my vx standard mapping chip I cant find a general setting that has casting rings and trolling grid I dont know if I got something shut off or ? anyway thank u for doing videos there very helpful

This does not work! App comes up that I have not authorized blue tooth. Then they have some goofy tech tell you to totally change personal settings on your phone. Disaster!!!

The amount of equipment is ridiculous and unnecessary. That's literally way to much for just fishing......he has electronics gold fever without the fishing skill. How can people tell.... his boat and equipment is way to clean. My foot pedal has never looked out of the box clean like his does. Once it gets used, dirty they never look like that again.

Mounting live scopes to any trolling motor is huge crazy problem, the 2nd huge problem is your trolling motor moving when your trying to focus on a live target. These 2 thing can't and won't ever work together because your using them for scientifically different purposes. So why do people keep trying to package them together is crazy. This is mind blowing and a huge red flag that makes easy to identify low IQ fishermen. One huge problem with this guy, he seems to think other manufacturers don😢have unique connections.....

Great Video! I really like the tip on freezing the screen to make adjustments. Never heard that one before. Looks way better than trying todo it with a moving and changing image. Gonna gift that a try.

Can you change vessel location to create a navigation from a different starting location?

Tweeking all day is not appealing, technology of water clarity map overlays would be helpful, using gps location to set sensitivity would help. Trickle down tech is getting old. Updates would be great! What is Humminbirds next great release? Apps are way further ahead of what is on the software, even updated software. Why not integrate applications?

I have a bench seat that I put two wheelbarrow tire inner tubes under a long time ago on my boat, and I can definitely say that the air ride from doing that definitely helps with rough choppy water!

Do these new mapping chips work with the odder units that are not networks? Or do the units have to be network for the chip to be able to work?

Looking at a Helix 9 to run in tandem with my Lowrance HDS 9 it came with my boat and I love the touch screen but not the imaging as I have used the Helix 7 on my dads skiff and love it yet I hear complaints about the Humminbird touchscreens having issues so I guess Ill just get the best of both worlds with a Garmin Livescope no brand loyalty here😂

Can you view live sonar on app? Would be pretty cool if you could hook up iPad via Bluetooth. You could have your iPad/tablet anywhere on boat to view live sonar display.

How do you change your contour lines… mine say 20,40,60 and nothing in between for the depth

I just gotta ask.....I have fished for over 40 years.....owned 6 boats over the years (Mostly Ranger 620's and Lunds). NEVER once have I ever even come close to needing THREE 15" graphs at my bow. Never. I currently run a 12" Humminbird Solix at the console, and a 12" Helix at the bow. I do "get" the fact that you may not NEED them but WANT them. That's great. But what I do not understand is the need for 3 HUGE screens at the bow. It seems it would focus your attention on screens, instead of putting bait in water. No disrespect intended for sure.....simply looked like huge overkill. BTW....I use the same locks you do ! Great product.
