Have you ever tried to run those motors through a (high power) rectifier? They seem to spin a lot faster on DC, even faster if you make a simple voltage doubler, havent tried this with a load though.
Next time you destroy a washing machine, it would be epic if you went all out with the reinforcements. You could weld the casing together and add angle iron reinforcements to many of the bits. Videos like this one make my day. :D

hmm yeah for what it takes mate you should really stick a little logo in the corner like how mine is. i made my logo really simply using MSpaint. then i just add it to the video using Vegas Pro. hate to see you not get credit for this awesome work... err fun you have heh
Those motors run at insane speeds when unloaded. The washing machine dance when the inner tank walks away is an absolute topper !
