My bank account is safe this month.
So is mine, because I pre-ordered Shadow of the Erdtree last month 😅
mines in trouble because i think frostpunk 2 is being released in july at somepoint lol
Me too.
Don’t forget that the Summer sale will be this month for all platforms
Final fantasy dawntrail it it’s only 30
I appreciate the fascination in oil rigs. I had never thought about it, but I too would like to see oil rigs used as a setting more
FR the last major game that did that was MGS 5!
There is literally only one horror game, taking place on oil rig, that comes to mind- Cold Fear. Damd good game it was.
Underrated for sure.
@@gameranxTVThe only horror is falcunts grumpy voice
That game feels like a fever dream haha.
That was on a Russian ship wasn't it?
Monstrum
Oil rigs function well because they're essentially islands and islands function well because you don't have to explain why your open world is not so open. No invisible walls, no logs across your path.
The only other game I can think of that's set in an oil rig is metal gear solid 2
Metal gear solid V mother base @@saarishtthaman6951
A game set on an oil rig is what we need
All true, but huge counterpoint: Very, extremely limited environment design possibilities. It's all metallic modern industrial subject matter all the time, aside from sometimes seeing the mostly featureless ocean stretching out forever.
Cold Fear was set on an oil rig the last ⅔s of the game (it was better on the foundering whaling ship).
Falcon: " it's a Scottish cast so expect lots of cursing"
Me who listens to Alestorm 24/7: " well this is a definite buy for me"
Hey! Hey! I want more wenches.
Hey! Hey! More wenches and mead.
Hey hey! I want more wenches, lots of wenches is what I need
"And #4 is..." *Ad for Ghost of Tsushima begins to play* Well played youtube, well played.
Just finished it, it's so good
Anybody else hear Falcon say "oil rig" and immediately think of Metal Gear Solid 2?
Blud has that old school Cartoon Network look to it. Definitely gonna get it 💸
Blud reminds me of Dexter's Lab artstyle
I also get a little mighty b vibes also
I see a bit of Cuphead in the animation style, for the life of me I can't explain why
@@CruciallyUltrawide yeah Genndy Tartakovsky-esque
its not even close. Elden ring DLC is all we care about this month.
Do I need original eldenring for this dlc ?
@@Pensioner1203yes its dlc you need to own the game
@@Pensioner1203 not trying to be rude. But. What game ever has a dlc that you don’t need the main game to play it??
@@DarkFayAssassin's creed Freedom Cry (DLC for black flag)
Respectfully disagree. I’m excited for Shadow of the Erdtree. But also Final Shape for Destiny 2 drops June 4. My wallet is already hurting after both
I'm only really interested in Shadow of the Erdtree, June is kinda weak as far as game releases go, but we got a lot of bangers in previous months
Yeah the list is very weak, but I have been waiting for Shadow of the Erdtree for years and I will play it day 1
Right...got so many games I haven't even started yet. I need time to play catch up.
IMO this whole year has been an absolute garbage dump. Gta6 and wolverine are the only games I’m looking forward to. Bring on 2025
@@jamandcracks8875 nah, I really enjoyed Prince of Persia Lost Crown, Stellar Blade and Dragon‘s Dogma 2 and there are some very good Indies or great games from last year, that I haven‘t been able to play yet
@@jamandcracks8875 There were a couple of good games for me. I'm still looking forward to Silent Hill 2 remake, DBZ: Sparking Zero, NCAA 25, and Black Myth: Wukong. All are supposedly dropping this year.
Blud's art style reminds me of Cartoon Network shows like Power Puff Girls or Dexter's Lab, etc.
Dude, I wish the popularity of Dexter's Laboratory was present these days so we could get a game based off it.
there's something about a little bird playing a game about ants that cracks me up
This channel became cringey. Do not recommend for me
@@Hamter_mental_counselingok 👍🏻
@@Hamter_mental_counselingDude, we're not mister CZcams, tell it to him directly
@@Hamter_mental_counseling Would you be able to recommend me an edgy game reviewer? Maybe like a Sam Hyde but for video games? I need adult reviewers, because I’m not a child anymore. I’m in my 30s and playing video games, not Barbie dolls jfc
@@lsdxm I wish but no sadly. They all have the same voice / tone. I wish there was a thing like redlettermedia but for video game. Prerec was good but it lasted just a few years
I bought a switch to play SMT V, but it broke long before it was ever released. So I'm glad it's being released for PC.
I'm just glad I never finished the original. The performance on switch ended up killing my drive, which is hard to do when you're hyper fixated.
👍
@@gameranxTV🫦
Blud looks like a dexter laboratory, and I LOVE IT!!!
Surely I cannot be the only person who was reminded of Cartoon Network shows when explaining number 8? The artwork is very very similar even the animations like the way the cars drive, their facial expressions! Really reminded me of ‘Billy and Mandy’ possibly Dexter’s lab too. Got to be the same animators surely!
Off topic, but I found out about this game called Infinite Space, it's an older game on the DS where you lead a growing fleet of spaceships across different galaxies. It's a JRPG with lots of dramatic dialogue, characters to meet, branching story choices, turn based spaceship combat, and even a ship building mechanic that kind of reminds me of Starfield a bit. It was actually made by Platinum games before they made Bayonetta or Vanquish. It's not a new game or anything, it came out in 2009 on the original DS, just wanted to share :)
Already pre ordered ESO The Gold Road back in Jan. Cant wait.
👍
Super stoked to see more great and inspired artwork for 2D metroidvanias, I want to eventually buy all of them and play them all, Also want to play that Killer Klowns From Outer Space game.
🎉🎉🎉Still Wakes The Deep reminds me of Twisted Metal 4’s Oil Rig level and the fact that you said that “it’s based on Mortal Kombat: Annihilation” has me even more excited!!
Fun fact:
The last 2 games i ACTUALLY remember playing, that had an oil rig level in them,
were Twisted Metal 4 and SOCOM 1.
COD modern warfare 2 has a cool oil rig level
Making the "mini sequel" to Elden Ring as a big, and relatively expensive, DLC is a pretty good idea. The devs can reuse the same engine as is, while concentrating on just making new content.
Also, who's ready for 18 inches of Messmer?
Doesn't work for anything other than Venom and that's been over played at this point.
And idk about a mini sequel when it's the same size as Limgrave, it's definitely more of an expansion than a DLC add-on but definitely not a sequel
😂😂 18 inches of Messmer.
Definitely ready to get my stool pushed in!!
"10 new games" proceeds to name multiple DLCs.
"The devs can reuse the same engine as is, while concentrating on making new content"
They've been making the same game and reusing assets since Demon's Souls, this has always been their way. I'm just hoping that they learned from ER and Shadow of the Erdtree's overworld isn't as boring, empty and copypasted as the base game.
Elden Ring DLC is $49.99, pretty much a complete game.
Because it is. Relatively the size of whole limgrave and nearly 10-20 hours of gameplay, atleast.
Rippppp offfff
@@mohamedaanishReminder that Miyazaki said base Elden Ring was 30 hours, so I wouldn't be surprised if it's WAY longer.
Any DLC that costs more than $20 is a rip off, $50 is basically the price for a full game on Steam
@@zomorion9183 i’m hoping it is. Ive nearly 400 hours on elden ring, so the more readily content’s availble, the better haha
Are we gonna act like there wasn’t an awesome oil rig mission in Splinter Cell?
Falcon, it just occurred to me that you would make an excellent radio/XM DJ. Maybe you already do that and I don't know!
So excited for Still Wakes the Deep!!!!
I agree with Falcon, oil rigs are creepy places when deserted. As a fan of survival horror I'm definitely interested.
If you like the idea to Still Wakes the Deep, watch the Rig. Same exact premise but told in a mini series. Came out a few years back.
They are speculating that Dragon Ball Sparking Zero will be released in 2024 as well! I really hope the devs can deliver us what we've been asking for years now
Shin Megami Tensei 5 Vengeance is the only thing I'm getting. Loved the original version and am looking forward to playing it on a system that can actually handle it.
I'm looking forward for SMTV only. It will be my most played game in June easy. But that ant game looks quite cool too, I'll try it when it realease. :D
SMTV on PC will be amazing!
Last game I played that was in an oil rig was Cold Fear in Xbox. It was pretty dope.
gameranx, You're the best! I subscribed because I love your content!
Okay bot, lol
Is t just me or does Still Wakes the Deep look like it’s taking place on Big Shell from MGS2?
Never thought about the oil rig thing you talked about. Need new horror games/movies that take place there. Even a murder mystery could work well in that environment.
Killer Clowns made me laugh but some people are really horrified by clowns so they would find it really scary!
Killer Klowns is going to be fun!
NGL the ant game has me the most excited, i feel like a kid again haha
i'm watching your vids mainly before bed and when the number appears with the white background i get flashbanged into oblivion
The thing on a oil rig... this should be the long awaited thing sequal or another similar style alien/supernatural style of film.
Still Wakes The Deep, Is based on a Scottish TV show called The Rig I believe.
Filmed in Scotland, Set on an Oil rig with monsters etc
well im going to be saving money with non of there's games looking good
OMG dude, Blud looks like Gravity Falls but for adults only. Looks dope!
Empires of the Undergrowth! If you, like me, enjoyed and played countless hours of Sim Ant all those years ago, THIS game is a definite buy. I played in early access around a year ago and was remarkably impressed. Easy to get in to, intuitive mechanics and UI, and rewarding gameplay. Even has zany voice acting and story in the campaign mode, this game rocks!
Loved Shin magami tensei 5 on switch, already got it pre-ordered.
Ngl really looking forward to SMT V vengeance 🔥🔥
I love it when Falcon does something so goofy he feels obligated to apologize for it 😂
So stokes of going back to the lands between. This is gonna be amazing.
Only waiting for the Elden ring dlc, nothing more
One of my favorite Gameranx videos every month. June seems pretty light on new releases outside of Elden Ring.
I can't determine if I'm more amused or disturbed that it honestly felt like you were living in my head for a moment there.
By the beginning of the second iteration of "another month down" I was already humming the song and was quite shocked as your brain was already in the same space. lol
I absolutely Loved SIM Ant !!! I rented that game over and over from Blockbuster....you bet you ants that I'm playing that new game
For $40 buck that DLC better be very meaty.
Considering most "decent" DLC is 20 bucks for 5-10 hours of gameplay, I'd be willing to bet that this is a heavily discounted sticker price comparatively
It's going to be about half the area size of the entire base Elden Ring game, but more dense, with new system mechanics, leveling system, weapon types, and more, so it very well may be worth it.
Nothing interesting enough for me. So I´ll just keep playing Batman Arkham City and Mad Max.
Know what would be sweet? A War of the Worlds kind of game where you have to make your way across the country, hiding in houses and cellars while the machines hunt you house to house, forest to forest. Hiding in bushes, stealth modes, collecting resources, joining random NPCs, avoiding their lights, etc. Games now seem to be strictly horror, gore, violence, etc.
gameranx, You're so talented! I had to hit the like button!
1-10 should be Elden rings DLC, but I’ll hear you out
Consume newest product.
@dansmith1661 you're literally watching a video about new games lmfao..............
@@bonedigggss Bro doesn't know where he's at
Remember witcher 3 dlc which was basically a whole new game for 20 bucks compare that to elden turds 50 dollar copy and paste map with reskinned enemies from soft are just like EA
@@_CrimsonBlade I feel like youre trolling but I’ll indulge you. has it come out? Do you know what enemies will be there or if it’s new areas entirely? It’s also $40 and they’re nothing like EA. So stop being a cornball groupie. If you don’t like stfu and move on
3 of these are DLCs for games and 2 of these are Remade games with some new content.
We really are digging in the bottom of the barrel for "10 New Games"
It's just how youtube is these days sadly
Don't understand English huh? They're new releases, get over it or go back to grade school English class. And while it may be under the catch-all term of DLC, it's a story DLC, equivalent to an expansion in the past, which had their own releases including physical editions. Again, get a clue.
@@cenciende9401 Chill dude no need to get hostile. You can have your opinion and we can have ours
Shadow of the Erdtee is going to be longer then most games that have come out this year 😂
Actually so is SMT V vengence 😂😂😂
‘Fading Afternoon’ a game made by the guy who made ‘The friends of Ringo ishikawa’ is coming to switch June 6th and it’s being well received according to steam reviews
Lowkey excited tor Still Wakes The Deep. Those guys did the newest Amnesia game, and I've only heard good things about that, so there's not a lot of reason to think that Still Wakes The Deep isn't gonna be good.
Nice
Thanks
I haven’t even heard of a majority of these games until I watched this and the only ones that I know of are DLC to big games 😂
Already pre-ordered Gold Road. I'm excited!
Is it just me or this year lookin kinda meh?
What do you mean? So far we've gotten helldivers Two, Dragons dogma two, Hades two, final fantasy 7 part two, hell blade senuas saga two, destiny two (the final shape) and to look forward to we have Ark two and Stalker two.
Definitely just you
Number 1 could have only been Elden Ring. Shadow of the Erdtree promises a fantastic experience.
Saw all the other expansions and was waiting to see Final Fantasy 14 on there. But i remembered the early access is this month. It officially comes out July 2nd.
Not sure it is appropriate for this list, but i'm looking forward to that Skyline Valley expansion for Fallout 76. That and Shadow of the Erdtree have me excited.
Fallout 76 and excited haven't been in the same sentence since 2018
I’m just here for Dragon is Dead and Shadow of the Erdtree. Shadow is going to dominate my summer if it is as big as I think it is.
Can't wait for the elden ring dlc!
Love me some ESO - it's a great game with a really solid community - but it's such a time sink.
Yeah baby this is what ive been waiting for.
Im looking forward to SERUM after HELLBLADE i have a taste for horror
So nothing good is coming out?
Yup nothing
how about elden?
All 10 better be Elden Ring!
With Ghost of Tsushima out on PC, I'll be fine for a long time.
It sets a very high standard for games in terms of quality, which can't be said about a lot of games nowadays.
Still wakes the deep looks flames, definitely checking that out
Shadow of the Erdtree set to take over my life and I am all for it! ❤
Am here for elden ring dlc .... playing the base game now
Shin Megami Tensei V is amazing! Looking forward to this new version!
I saw a game called Pneumata that looked pretty cool that is supposed to release in June
It has been really slow for games this past 3 months
Definitely an intermission year. when everyone is working on next year's projects.
Busy 3 months if you like games starring animals: Animal Well, Crow Country, Another Crab's Treasure, Little Kitty Big City
Definitely playing Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, I'll also get the V Rising PS5 version, I've heard a lot of great things and I'll try out Destiny 2: The Final Shape.
Completely off topic but Jake Baldino or Falcon, where do you get your shirts from? The Max Payne one that you had in the previous videos is cool!
... I think Falcon finally snapped about 3 videos ago, and he's been quickly descending into madness since. He's been screaming at a LOT of clouds.. Now he's singing at them. 😳😂😂
Falcon 🐦 ❤
ah yes, Destiny and Elder Scrolls Online are definitely "new games"
If they aren’t new games then Elden ring dlc isn’t a new game
“I apologize for all of that” lol
Yo those water graphics!! Crazy
SMTVV, Elden Ring DLC, The final shape. Good month, strong month.
Number 10: Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance
Number 9: Still Wakes The Deep
Number 8: Blud
Number 7: Empires Of The Undergrowth
Number 6: Dragon Is Dead
Number 5: Monster Hunter Stories, Remastered
Number 4: Destiny 2
Number 3: The Elder Scrolls Online: Gold Road
Number 2: Killer Klowns From Outer Space: The Game
Number 1: Elden Ring: Shadow Of The Erdtree
Thx
Blud is basically Buffy the vampire slayer meets the fairly odd parents... 😂
Dragon is Dead looks insanely good! That is my kinda game. Thank for creating these every month 🙏🏼
Like here if you're just hoping the world is still in one piece by the time GTA6 comes out. ------>
Elden Ring DLC 🔥🔥
I'm actually really interested in BLUD now, i love the animation
you should really watch The Rig (2023) ... seems like 'still, wakes the deep' is going to be very similar,
its a watchable tv show, great video as always,
thanks Steve
Elden ring: Shadow of the erd tree let's gooo!!!
Elden Ring people!!!!!
Blud is a day one pick up for me…that looks great
As someone who LOVED AVP extinction on the ps2, im excited for empires of the undergrowth.
I just want GTA 6....Everything else is just filler till the holy grail of gaming is released!!
