In today's vid, we'll talk about whether or not $50 silver would be a good or bad thing...and get a perspective from a coin shop dealer on how things might be from his perspective from the mass sell-off that would surely follow!

Love the silver back ground! Those are some shiny Engelhards. It might be just a shiny round and lighting but that Big E reverse looks proof. Enjoyed hearing from the coin store owner (lou). I'm concerned with silver liquidity right now, like he said, lots of sellers and not a lot of buyers.
Thanks! I know you appreciated the Engelhard angle! They all actually have near-proof finishes…beautiful for being 80’s bars and rounds! Yeah, I agree…if they’re selling now, $50 silver would be mass insanity. Yikes.

If Silver takes the stairs to $50 and holds than a floor has been set. If Silver takes the elevator up than watch out for CRASH.
Even breaking the resistance point of $30 and maintaining would be an accomplishment at this point! 😉

Check check check.... im ready, bring on $50 😂... i think personally there will always be buyers and always be sellers regardless the price. My bullion shop tells me as long as the price is going up or going down he is money. Only think he hates is side ways.

I'm hoping it drops back down to the $22 range. It might hit $50, but I'm not holding my breath. If it hits $30, I'm considering selling 1/4 of the stack. It hits $35, I'm definitely selling 1/4 of the stack, and a 1/4 more for every $5 dollar increase. Then sit back and watch it drop back down to $23, lol. So many silver pumpers coming up with silly highs for silver, it's hilarious.
Yeah, it almost seems inevitable that even if it were to spike…it’d come crashing down shortly after. That’s just the history of silver, as crazy as it is.

If we see the GSR get down to 60-1 i will seriously consider exchanging for more gold. If price goes crazy its all relative to inflation. I would sell if there was another tangible asset to immediately purchase.

Good video. IMO silver is a disastrous investment vehicle if you consider opportunity cost, coupled with it’s easy to buy / more difficult to sell status. If your personal stack is not increasing in value by say 4% net each and every year is it time to get out?
Appreciate you watching. My opinion matches yours, which is why I don't even consider my silver an investment of any kind. It's just a savings account to me, and it'll give back at least SOMETHING when I'm ready to get out. It's just a supplement for my retirement, and a better spend versus buying "stuff" that'll never give an ROI. My other investments are for making a profit!
@@SilverGoldStackAttack Fair comment on silver being savings. I only buy semi-numismatic silver that I like now; definitely not as an investment. My kids can sell it when I’m dead! 😀

Unless you’re at a point where you’ve saved up enough silver, and you’re ok to sell. But, true…a lot of problematic issues could be associated with $50 silver.
If price jumps quickly to say $50, I'm assuming he would have to pay less than spot???
I would imagine so! But, sellers will still do ok, even if a dealer pays out $10 under. As long as the DCA is strong, and the economy’s not tanked, there’s still profit to be taken if it hits $50, with lower payouts.
I don't care if the price of silver goes up or down. If your silver is suddenly "worth" more, it means that your country's fiat currency is going down the toilet. An ounce of silver will always be "worth"... an ounce of silver. (Disregard the daily/weekly/monthly fluctuations caused by the speculators and COMEX and the big banks who work to manipulate the market.) Example: In the early 1960s when I was a little kid, a gallon of gasoline cost (roughly) 25 cents--maybe a bit less. Today, you can take that same (pre-1965) quarter to any coin shop and sell it for enough of today's fiat currency to buy--a gallon of gas... and probably with change left over! Look, neither gold nor silver are investments. They are simply a means to protect your buying power and to hedge against inflation of your fiat currency.

Silver will go higher. It has to as long as the government keeps printing. To believe 50 or higher isn't going to happen is ridiculous. 48 dollars in 2011. Do the math inflation causes higher comodity prices.
It was 50 in 1980. Fair value is 180.
No one doubts it’ll go higher. It’s just a matter of “when,” and if it’ll actually establish a new base range out of the $20’s. It’s long overdue.
