Yeah these shit bricks are preying on ignorant parents or other family members. You need to do your duty and educate your parents. I’m 23 now but back when the sega genesis and PS1 came out I sat their asses down and educated them on what was legit and what was fake. Most parents these days aren’t stupid though.

Another thing about those exit game buttons. When a game button conflicts with the messy exit button, the system default-remaps it. In Legend of Zelda LTTP, the Select button is supposed to give the option to save and quit, but since that was the game exit button on the X6, the L trigger would instead bring up the save and quit menu. I bet if you pressed select or something, you could shoot the shell in Mario Kart.

It's a possibility, the Retro CM3 and Gameboy 1UP XL can play N64, but none yet that can play Gamecube.

I just ordered one! Just to play GBA and NES games. I also have the X16 which only plays GBA and NES as well and its very nice when it comes to playing the games on a bright 7 inch screen. It plays video and mp3 files as well.

All you need is a USB cable that fits the mini port on the device. When you plug it in, the device should have three options.

Choose Power & Data. If you only see charge options, the cable isn't the correct kind; you'll need one capable of transferring data.
When the window on the computer opens, you'll see just a few folders and files, pretty basic. Just toss all your roms in the GAMES folder. No organization needed. To access those games on the device without running into all the built-in games along the way, when selecting your game, just go to the "Ext Games" category, and leave the Inner Games alone.

Yeah I don't know why people make a big fuss over viewing angles when nobody in the entire world plays handhelds with the screen tilted up or down anyway. If it looks good when viewed directly, then maybe just view it directly like any normal person would?

I've got a Powkiddy X18 and with the clean rom it's a pretty sweet Android handheld! Emulates N64 and Dreamcast decently well. I'd say it's worth the $110 I paid.
You could've get a Xbox 360 or ps3 for that money and they're beast consoles
*please* try command and conquer, final fantasy 8, and maybe wing commander 4 on the ps1 emulator, I think those will run lots better at least the first 2 :)
Also it might be me, but looking at crash bandicoot, is it trying to run it in 720p instead of native ps1 resolution? If so and if you can change that, that. Might help a bit too 👌

While 3D playstation games fail to work, I really do wonder if a 2D JRPG like Suikoden would play well. You say we buy these to play 3D games, but honestly, Suikoden 1 and 2 are both very long and super good games. Lunar 1 and 2, added to that list, that alone would give me 220ish total hours of four of the best games on the playstation.
Out of curiosity I had to buy one, it was a shame all the roms were in Chinese but I have wiped them all out and put all my own from my hyperspin build. Works well if you forget PS1. I’m really happy with mine! The viewing angle for me is perfect as I look direct at the screen an not move it around.
I have a Powkiddy X16 and it looks like it's the same thing as the Powkiddy X19 just with a different shell. Also the X16 can play PS1 games quite well so the X19 should be able to also, at least in theory. So if you want a device with a larger screen get the X16.
Are you sure the X16 plays PS1 games? Our X16 did not.

Retro Dodo also try different ps1 games like 2d games such as megaman x4. I’ve had another handheld like this run that game flawlessly and it’s usually a hit or miss for ps1 games

NES, is actually a nightmare to emulate. The best test is SMW and play through to the beat the first castle and if it gets past that then maybe it’s alright. From there move on to PS1 and N64 for the true test. This one is a failure unless you can tweak some settings to make it smoother. Could you install a custom firmware on it I wonder?

I'm getting mine delivered tomorrow. Hope you're right about the 720p screen, that would be a nice upgrade. Every one of them so far has been 480p screens.
Also, why do people make a stink about viewing angles? If it looks good when viewed head-on, there's no big deal. Who dislikes a screen because they can't see it when they tip it? Nobody uses their devices like that. It's obvious that these manufacturers still did the best they could with the parts they used. If the angle was bad head-on, and you could only see the screen by tipping the device, then that WOULD be bad...but it doesn't do that.

@@ryuhollande4267 IPS? I don't know much about screens but I don't think so. It looks good enough, standard 480p screen with bad viewing angles (but looks fine when viewed head-on, which I'm sure people always do).

@@ajthelion0485 The X19 is pretty good, a bigger version of the thing I already liked, but I think the screen at most is 480p or 576p.
It still needs European roms for SNES to run at full speed; has the same goods and bads of most of the previous revisions. The TV out works fine, though the speaker audio keeps flickering on and off during TV out mode. Not a big deal if it's sitting on a surface though.
It looks good enough on an HDTV (especially when set to 576i mode) and great on a CRT (the intended TV). My favorite thing about TV out is that it can be manually user-adjusted so that the image will fit any TV perfectly instead of cropping off the sides and showing black bars. A few of these devices have a specific menu that doesn't enable this option, optimized only for HDTVs; the X19 isn't one of those, because it can be set for any screen of any aspect ratio, HD or not.
