Mr. Vandruff's smooth voice and jovial personality made me feel like I was watching a Christmas Movie about joints in perspective lol
EbbFlowe Hahaha true. He could do great voice overs for animations
Proko! You aged so fast!
bruh
😂😂😂
Ok
@@wunderbar7543 what snowflakes?
@@gtfghj3267 wdym?
"Why do you have an entire human skeleton in your closet?"
"Uhhhhhhhhh
a smooth-voiced old man on youtube told me to get one for art"
"Fair enough"
I just realized that this was what we were supposed to do for the previous assignment, I drew all the bones without simplifying anything and it took me hours! 😞
SAMEEEE
Do the same XD. I've remade that exercice 3-4 times xd
your voice is magnificent!!
I'm am so rediculously happy that you introduced us to marshall. there is a disturbingly complementary contrast between the two of you and it has added so much dynamic to your lessons. I'm sold on premium already just because it means I get to see more of marshel. I also recently purchased the figure drawing premium and I have to say the added content is truly extensive. I'm now making connections that I couldn't make before off the free content. I absolutely love the work you've put into this and I look foreward to more from both you and Marshall
I love Marshall's style. He's so entertaining. Also, he has bells. That has got to count for something, too! At least he had in his animal anatomy videos.
I love how he makes the lightest sketch ever
Damn, those simplified arms look beautiful.
I would definitely be willing to pay for your courses when I get more money. Your videos have been so helpful to me for the past 3 years!
I really like this perspective way of working with drawings.
I believe I'm not the only one, that would love to see more of this kind of work-style.
I love Marshall voice
thank god for this video!!! i never considered this method, but my brain works like this- i've improved tenfold!
aeniayh gendreau Great to hear! Keep yo the good work!
I love Marshall Vandruff's explanations! I look forward to more videos from him!
(by the way, the link to his site has a typo)
Oh god, it's Marshall XD
He always sang goofy songs at the beginning of the online composition classes I took, and it was so awesome
Doing exercise, having school, and extra lessons throughout the whole day while listening to this dear man is getting me sleepy...
Thanks Proko & Marshall!
I just wanna listen to him talk, I swear.
I’m 4 years late but they have a podcast called “Draftsmen” you can listen to them talk for hours! XD
@@katiel.8174 XD I found that out but thank you!
On the podcast episode about sketching Marshall talked about line quality and how he felt embarrassed to draw in front of other people because the line didn't come up perfect immediately
Rewatching this video after all this years really gives you an interesting perspective, a very wholesome one
What a journey
His way of talking is so... nice... makes me feel less like an idiot
I love the way he explains things
Please, more about the feet!
Great channel!
Oh man, I am going to be so much better at perspective now!
I get that Stan has to get the bag but sometimes its kinda annoying that a big part of the content is hidden behind a paywall
This was fun to watch. Marshall seems like a cool old guy
Interesting. I have studied this subject and realize that it is very important to show what is actually under the skin otherwise it does not look live. Thanks for this video. Marie
i strongly relate to marshalls embarrassment over his hesitant sketching
Hey Proko, great picture/thumbnail from your Q&A w/ Marshall, etc. (random reference, but) It kind of looks like a young Orson Welles.
in quarantine, I have a lot of time to learn this course and My biology teacher is explaining the Muscular system and I am learning skele
are you drawing better now?
@@uglee6433 well obviously I improved but I dont think I learned much from this course cuz I stopped it after just a couple videos
This is what bane was doing after breaking Bat's spine ..
So cool!
wuuhuu! Marshall Vandruff roockz!
hey, are there more videos like this one on the premium subscription?
very good
I felt like I was receiving a lesson from reddington from the blacklist lol. very helpful!
rewatching these videos and yep still reddington the teacher
thanks Sir
I loved his voice
I just hate being found without my trusty skeleton.
Soooo what was the excuse? :)
Ty
Perspective. I can has it!
I love those pencils he's using. It's kind of mechanical. Kinda not. WHAT do you call them? I would like to purchase one or some :) Wonderful video!! I LOVE PROKO. And this guy is pretty awesome too. Thanks so much
Their called Lead Holders. It's been a month since you posted that, so I'm not sure if you already found the info your looking for, hope you don't mind.
+TaroTea Yeah, Led Holders. They are typically known to be archetectual and drafting equipment. You can find them in any craft store in that section.
proko can you make a video about the feet
drew one in crazy detail and saw this.
f in the comments
Audio chocolate is a plus lol.
*me quickly scribbling things on the page to feel like I’ve done something*
Me after the lesson: h a p p y s o u n d s
Sir! You totally blew me with your straight lines...what kind of witchcraft are you using?! 🤔😂
this guy's voice reminds me to Wolf O'donell :0
I am lefty. When people draw with a right hand in demonstrations, it drives me crazy. LOL!
The last arm is so detailed I don't think it should count as mannequinization lol
Rrrrrrrrrrraaaaaaaa to many big scientific words !!!!!!!
man do you know how to draw!!!
Sir.. is it engineering drawing of skeleton.
Doesn't the ankle use an ellipsoid joint? IDK about you, but my foot can go in all sorts of directions.
Not that it matters, but generally the y and z axis are swapped.
In calculus?
In engineering and in any 3d program I've used.
Barack Lasagna Maya is a prominent 3D program, used extensively in film, games, design and archviz, and it uses Y-up. Really depends on what you are used to.
Yet engineering is only a tiny subset of math. For starters there are right handed and left handed coordinate sytems. He is using classic righthanded coordinate sytem, that is the PREDOMINANT form in algebra AND in engineering in some countries around the world.
3:00 Look, it's a toilet paper roll :')

We took some time off for the holidays to be with family.
Stan Prokopenko How dare you!
His voice is like a AI voice
I dont get it.
me 2, am gonna skip it, what did u do ?
but premium is like 2000 south African rands...Thats the frikken price of a fancy wacom tablet!!😒😢😕
is it just me or he does look like old Adam Levine.
Is this Bane from Harley Quinn???
thanks George Carlin!
feet drawing hard...
I thought the foot was an ellipsoid joint :(
80 bucks for just an arm anatomy video? Who can afford that?
***** Maybe if it were a multiple video package I would see how it'd be worth 80 bucks... but this is a rip off considering you can just find this information online for free.
***** Small reward? I can live two month on 80 bucks! Two month!
***** Yeah but for 20$ i probably would buuy it. They wouldn't have much less of total profit with more wise price. This tutor would buy everyone but not only from countries with good wealth
***** They would sell a lot more if they sold it for less... yes it would probably equal out to about the same... but they would help a lot more people and surely that is worth something. There are books out there that are just as good as their videos and they are only about 20 bucks. And like I said before... the 80 dollar video was just on one part of the body... if there were multiple limbs or something I could see that price making sense.
book lessons vs direct chat, video production and more.
These are HELL of a lot affordable than what I've gone to with school.
this is really informative, but its so uncomfortable when wearing headphones, you can hear how moist his mouth is....ughh
I'm going to be unsubscribing here, but I wanted to tell you why. When I first began watching your channel, it was because your videos were efficient and informative on various drawing techniques and you have a great way of relaying information. Unfortunately, your videos of late provide very little, promising more in the premium content. I'm not averse to paying for good information, but I'm not sure I like the way that choice is being presented. When I subscribed, this channel had frequent updates where you were just sharing topics with us. The channel has lost that. I wish you the best of luck with your online courses, but the channel just isn't for me anymore.
How typical. Someone gaves away good stuff for NOTHING at any point and what is your thanks? You get all pissy when he stops or even slows down, like he owes it to you, like subscribing is such a huge sacrifice on your part. You like the older videos better? Look at the older videos and be glad they're still up. Want to learn art but don't want to go to art school? Buy books like I did.
***** Books by Glen Vilppu, Jack Hamm + go to the library and study George Bridgman, Vanderpoel. Stay away from Chris Hart and Hogarth.
evenmorenonsense I think you may have seriously misunderstood my comment if you believe that I am being "pissy" or ungrateful. It is out of gratitude that I posted and I wish Stan the absolute best of luck with the online school. I'm probably feeding a troll here, given your name and the irony of calling me pissy while being pissy, but in the event that you're completely serious, you might want to pay a little more attention when you read things. I don't know where you got anything in your rant.
evenmorenonsense chris hart i agree with but whats your gripe with hogarth? i learned alot about hands and how to draw them from imagination because of how well he exaggerates the forms
So... you are effectively rejecting his free info as well?
Why? Might as well take advantage of it, right?
