- We visited the house and the neighborhood where Steve Harris, bassist of Iron Maiden, was born and lived until he was 25 years old. This was his home until after Killers' tour. His youth house is located in Leyton, Stratford city of London UK.
I went inside the Cart and Horses pub in 1976 and saw my friend Paul Mario Day singing with Iron Maiden. The Cart and Horses Stratford East London was the first pub Maiden ever played. It's known as "the birthplace of Iron Maiden".

I am originally from London as well and I have lived in Leyton for something like 12 years now. I have managed to find Alfred Hitchcock's house and David Beckham's house and now I found Steve Harris's house! Thanks! I will make a visit soon.

It is not really a wealthy family home, on the contrary, both the neighborhood and the houses are lower / middle class.
Fantastic .I am from New Zealand ,my beloved adopted grandad "Grandpa Fred"" lived in Leytonstone. I know some of Iron Maiden live in Essex where my Dad's side of the family are from. I love watching Nicko McBrain clips, he is the original cockney comic indeed. I have always loved Iron Maiden. They are the Best of British indeed , Up The Irons !!.
Leytonstone is a beautiful worker town. Steve lived in Essex but not any more. Nicko and Adrian are in USA, Bruce in Paris.

El fallecio en 1994 despues del divorcio de Steve y su esposa Loraine.
