- This is a boozy, fun and delicious vlog in Querétaro, Mexico to celebrate Eat, Baila, Travels first anniversary! As some of y’all may know football season is here and as an true Bears Fan in Mexico, Kevin is excited. We are not in Chicago anymore and we are wondering whether we would be able to find the NFL games in Querétaro. Not a football fan? Don’t worry this is a food and beer vlog with lots of delicious food and craft beer options.
We start our vlog by having breakfast and craft beer at Hercules Cerveceria located in the Hercules community. As we walk around Queretaro, we realize there are many cantinas and microbreweries like Brewer Gastro Pub, La 20.20 cantina, Cerveceria Fundadores and many more. We then go on a quest to find the NFL games. Living in Mexico we were surprised to find american restaurants in Mexico like Hooters, Chilis, but stubborn Kevin wants something more local!

It’s good to show Mexico is not just tacos, that chicken sandwich looks super tasty 😋
A few years ago I tried a hamburger in central Mexico and to be honest, it tasted better than the ones in the states 🤷🏻♂️
For people from the states who are home sick there seems to be a lot of eating options for them also, chido 👍

Very true that's why we switched it up a bit but like two nights ago we had some amazing tacos!!! lol That we hope to vlog on them they were that good! Our favorite burger in Mexico has been in two spots Oaxaca city and Guadalajara. There is nothing like those burgers anywhere in USA. There is a wide variety of foods here in Querétaro from american options to indian, italian, and many other mexican varieties as well. We do miss some good Thai food hoping to find some soon! We do gain weight our clothes remind us to stop. As you may or may not know clothes in Mexico is expensive so we don't plan to buy new clothes what we got is what we got. So clothing reminds us to work out and walk more.

That Sandwich de Pollo Frito looked LEGIT! Now I'm starving..thanks for that 🤣🤣🤣 Vlogger instinct 😁🤙 Man I we totally relate to searching all over for a place to watch the game (regardless of which game happened to be "the game" on that day...though for me it was usually Oregon Ducks 🦆🙏😎). Another great one guys, well done!
We wanted to end our vlog at the Brewer with that delicious chicken sandwich but there was a nasty storm the night before that flooded the restaurant. The owner of the brewery is from Chicago but that led to a nice quest to find the game. I can imagine finding the Ducks play might be a bigger challenge unless you are in a resort! Have you visited anytime after 2009? so many people say it has changed a lot from 2011 to now. Queretaro is fantastic and it's growing on us a lot!
@@EatBailaTravel I am sure it has changed ....We are headed to Baja California mid January, which we do not know. We plan to spend several days in La Paz, passing through Todos Los Santos. Then Mazatlan and Puebla, new to us as well and finally several days in Mexico City, which we visited, "many, many moons ago". Getting to new places all the time. A whole month travel for us. Safe travels.
@@lauraarteaga1451 oh Nice!! are you taking a ferry from Baja to mazatlan? We loved La Paz that was our third vlog. We took a road trip from Cabos and we loved it we wished we had spent more time in La Paz. There's some nice breakfast spots in Todos Santos. Before you go try check out the Fish Taco episode on La Cronica del Taco on Netflix! They provide some good fish tacos spots in La Paz and Todos Santos!

Good video. I like how you are experimenting with some dramatic elements, "...let's make this a beers and pubs vlog......." But more than anything, you both seem to really like and enjoy each other. You guys are so great! Y'all are going to blow up soon. Have you both done any collabs? I see La Karencita below, Ford Quartermain, Kinetic Kennons, and others. You both have something different than any other channel I'm aware of. You are a Latino-American couple, with unique background. I'd love to see more of your ancestral backgrounds. Show Abuelita cooking some traditional local favorites. I'd love to see some street level culture.
Thank you! Now that we are more comfortable with vlogging and creating stories we want to keep advancing in our vlogging style. Sometimes things don't work the way we want to so being ourselves helps us get some interesting content. We have only done one Collab, and collaborating with Karencita will be our second. Collabs can be challenging but we have been getting together to make sure we provide something meaningful and fun! We would like to meet Ford and Kinetic Kennons they are big time vloggers and us sending them a request might be part of their huge queue of requests so we understand, maybe someday we'll cross paths and do something. For now we are working with our biggest strengths which is being mexican-american, having both languages and showing the mexican culture perspective from both lenses. We love that you want to see more of our background we are working on making that happen but we are waiting for our parents to visit from Chicago. Unfortunately our grandmas are no longer around in Mexico but we will be soon getting to that Rancho level culture. 😉😉 saludos amigo

Did you guys hear about the Bears wanting to go to the 'burbs? Yes it was on the news a few days ago, but not sure how far along they are in doing that. Queretaro looks great and a lot of fun! Someday....
Yea we heard about it. I don’t know how I feel about it. There’s a lot of issues with it, mostly political, Chicago from the start should have built a stadium to host a Super Bowl. They didn’t want to ruin the architecture at soldier field and built an ugly ass stadium over it. I think it’s messed up from both ends. The bears want to make more money while us bears fans just want to beat the packers. The city would have to suffer at a teams expense. So that’s gonna be a tough one
Another fun video! I put a link to the AirBnB we rented in the comments to your Queretaro hype video. The building is called La Encantada and is at Avenida 20 de Noviembre 120. We loved the building and location. I am glad you made it to Brewer Gastropub. Did you figure out that the proprietors had also lived in Chicago? I thought I made a comment about this under your last video but I could not find it. Anyway - keep up the great work - I especially love anything about craft beer!!!

Maybe you did mention it because we had an Uber take us there and when we got there we thought we were at the wrong place lol we made friends with the owner he’s from Chicago. We were hoping to finish our vlog there but the night before there was nasty storm that flooded most of centro and all the businesses had to shut down. We will back we really liked that spot
I enjoyed this video a lot. All your music selections were great too. You asked about the beer, I’m an IPA guy which is hard to find in most of Mexico. Your food looked really good but please try not to get too fat.
Amigo thanks for the comment! My dad(kevin) loves his IPA’s I’m honestly not a fan but once in a while I’ll have my “little sumthin sumthin” from Lagunitas. We make sure we work out and eat better behind the scenes. It’s all about balance 😂
Just confirming: the Bears bought Arlington race track for a lot of money and are planning on building a stadium out there. Just saw that on NBC news. But they probably can't move until 2026 at the earliest due to their lease at Soldier Field. I think maybe Chicago could be a 2-team town? Hmmm...
Technically it’s not a done deal it’s just a way to pressure the city to help the Chicago bears. It’s going to get messy if the bears leave to Arlington I would be very disappointed because all of our teams play in the city and that’s something we take pride in. I’d be down for another Chicago team. I would definitely cheer for them against the Arlington bears 😂
