    So much oil in the jollof - I thought you were gonna reduce the oil before adding the tomatoes. And then I thought you were gonna reduce the oil before adding the rice. A gorgeous lady you are - so I see the oil doesn't make you gain unnecessary weight, congrats on that. I actually have a crush on you, but I live in South Africa - we are too far away from each other...

    This can not be Nigerian jollof! It looks so refined, so good. Is it Ghana jollof?

    • @KeziaEniang
      @KeziaEniang  Před 3 lety +3

      Thank you! & It's Nigerian but because I use fresh ingredients like tomatoes and peppers it does make a difference to the look ☺️

      What is wrong with some people? A nice, simple, pleasant, convivial vlog but no, you just couldn't let it be; you just couldn't let it stay that way; you just had to bring in the negativity and utter disrespect before you, personally, could be happy. "It can't be Nigerian." Because it's "refined" and it's "good". You don't even realise that by spewing that out of your mouth you have made it ABUNDANTLY clear that it is you, yourself, that these two adjectives do NOT, in ANY way, describe. For if you were a good person, if you were refined in your character, refined in your communication, refined in your worldview, you would never have said what you wrote neither have done what you did. Or, attempted to do. It is people who have issues of insecurity and inferiority complexes and/or also suffer from envy and jealousy who feel a need to launch unprovoked attacks to try to denigrate and bring down others. Especially others who intimidate them. Kudos to Kezia, whose God-fearing parents have taught and instilled her and her siblings the good manners which allowed her to graciously ignore the slur to her parentage (as the level of your intelligence and the evident nature of your character could not allow you to consider the fact that she is Nigerian through her beloved father whilst her lovely mom is Ghanaian, giving her ties there too, and you really expected her to be so foolish as to denigrate either side and thus her own self?) And give you the calm, neutral reply she did. And FYI, I, my family growing up, my siblings, till date, all my friends, women my family and other families we know would call to come and cook (on firewood) when we had parties, and Nigerian cooks on the internet, use fresh tomatoes and peppers when making our jollof rice. With tinned tomato, etc.
      I've always regarded the so-called jollof wars as nothing more than light-hearted sibling rivalry. Most especially between Nigeria and Ghana. Of course, any day any time, my answer will ALWAYS be that Nigerian is THE VERY BEST. Any day any time outside the shores of Africa, and/or, within Africa but outside black Africa, if there's a situation, ranging from a competition to some kind of problem or disagreement in a hotel or on the street or in a restaurant or office or wherever, you will find me enthusiastically supporting my Ghanaian and West and black African brethren and where necessary, offering what help I can. We MUST stand TOGETHER. We have no one else, NO ONE (better believe it) but GOD. And ourselves. End all the immature, completely ABSURD, foolishness.

      @@aurepaschale7692 Sorry I could not read all that.
      I listen to Nigerian Music all day long, I watch Nigerian Movies on all platforms (iroko, Ibaka, Conga etc...) But when it come to food, Nigerian food is not my favorite. And you should not feel bad about that. Who knows? maybe I am ignorant to it, or I just tasted it from the wrong people.
      Nigeria is a giant in Africa who excels in countless domain. If you feel bad because of my comment... then I apologize! I can see where you coming from
