Just to be clear, this isn’t the ford performance touring mufflers by borla, correct? I’m currently looking at the Sport edition or S type for my 22 GT. Already have an H pipe. Glorious sound I will say.

These ARE the "Ford performance by borla" mufflers. They are the touring version. So they are not just borla mufflers. Borla has two lines for the mustang. The Ford performance version, and then their version that is just borla touring, borla s type etc. From what I gathered the are a bit different as far as how they sound. But I've never heard them side by side to confirm. I wish I could have heard the s version.
I really like these mufflers with the h pipe. It is a classy sound that isn't over the top, but still enough that it sounds good. Everybody can appreciate it. And it does scream when it gets over 3 k. That said under 3 k it isn't too loud, which is where you're mostly driving. I ended up kind of wanting more. You just get used to it. Also us car guys just like loud, haha. But it really is a "correct sound".

Niiiiiice!!!!....any particular reason(s) why Steeda over say,...MRT for the H-pipe?

Not really. Steeda is known to make good quality stuff. Welds were very nice, whole peice was clean, good part. They are all mostly similar I'd imagine.

    is there drone when cruising?

With this setup i would say no drone. It's louder than stock, but really not noticeable while cruising. No vibration etc. With this setup, it comes alive above 3k RPM. But once you get used to it you will want it louder. It's only when you hear it from outside the car you can really appreciate the sound. Inside it sounds good, if not a bit quiet. You can live with it on a long drive no problem.

Nice set up. I have Borla touring exhaust set up on my 2017 and currently with Borla resonator. I am planning to replace it with Steeda H pipe. Did it require some tuning after the H pipe install?

No, you don't need a tune for an H-Pipe. I've heard as long as the cats are still in place, no tune necessary.
