Back when I still had the hair in my default pic I never had to re dye my hair more then every two months :D I wanted more green but you can try ion color brights mixed with any other cream based dye and mix until you get a great shade all the ion color brights blues and greens stay foreverrrrr
I had mine for 9 and a half months until I tried fading it out and it took a month to get it to fade and then I had to bleach it out for 10 minutes to do vibrant purple but if you have an issue with fading i suggest mixing brands!
I worked and studied under professionals for a bit and they loved ion color brights

I've been using Directions for a looong time. One time I used Manic Panic but it was expenive and I did not really like it. I had it like hot pink with the colour Rose Red and now I'm going for de green one in your discription. I love Directions! Oh yeah and I had it neon blue but it faded to a sky blue colour and that pretty nuce too ^^

I never really had to because it fades nicely with the blue mixed in. Just turns more turquoise after about a month. Then progressively more blueish as it fades.

I am definitely trying this. I've been wanting to find a way to get this color, and this video is perfect! I have one question if you see this (since it's a lot later)- do you need to use the brush when applying the dye or can you just apply it with gloves and your hands? I've always done it that way with no problems but I don't want streaks or anything weird! Brb ordering dye now :)
+Stefanie Turner You can definitely use your hands! I just find it a lot harder to get a thorough application without it. I'm always afraid I'll miss spots, but if it works for you, go for it!

+maria maria I can answer. It can dilute the color but it also makes it go farther. Before they made pastel pink, I would get hot pink and put in enough conditioner until was pale. Sort of like mixing white paint with a darker to make a pastel

If you look at my most recent video, thats how it looks faded. If you are careful (don't wash too much, use dry shampoo/use color care shampoos) it should last a few weeks.

These kinds of dyes don't damage hair at all. They are vegan:] If you have to bleach your hair first then yes, it will damage it.

Nope I think it would go over perfectly. Maybe wash a few times with dandruff shampoo and then go ahead and dye it:] It's a similar enough color it shouldn't change it:]

I do! LOL Preferably nothing that is meant for clarifying and it would be better to not use colorful ones. There is always a tiny tiny bit of dye in colored ones. (Probably doesn't change the color much but it makes it easier to see what you are mixing)
How do you keep your hair from breaking or looking damaged? It's gorgeous and I love the color. I'm notorious for color changes because I get bored really quickly when I'm stuck in one color too long. And my hair is naturally a dark brown/black, so I have to bleach before I dye and due to all the bleaching, my hair is less than healthy. XD

solution: don't bleach your hair
you should try using a colour remover with no bleach or ammonia
I've used them and they don't really work with fashion colours.
Options are very limited in the no- bleach or ammonia categories when it comes to dark/black hair. Most of them just lighten it to a very....icky and dingy color that still needs to be re-lightened. Even without bleach and ammonia, if a product is used so many times in a row, it'll still do damage. I'd rather just bleach it, get the results I need the first go around, and then do a conditioning/moisture masque. I was just hoping there was some sort of sorcery that could give me the same results with much less damage.
Question! I have a bit more of the amount of hair that you have with your extensions on. Should I use 2 Alpine Green and 1 Midnight Blue, or should I use more? I have a LOT of Hair!
+Aryn MacKay Oh my goodness, at this point I don't even remember how much I used, but two green and 1 blue sounds good. You can even mix a tad bit of conditioner in to stretch it.

Hey i just have a quick question. Were the exstenions you were using the minihouse8888 ones? I just order some and I've heard they don't hold up well after you dye them. I'm just wondering because I want to add red tone to them but I don't want them to be ruined if I do. Hope you see this and I love your videos & your new hair! :)
Yes they are! I dye them all the time! Even bleach bath them. I'm just extra careful when washing and brushing afterwards. With these unnatural colors though, they don't actually do any harm so no problems there. I don't think you'll have any problems:]

See you're lucky I got a pair and they bunched up and got all gross and matted after two dyes. I never even bleached them! I left some blonde they were only dyed once and they all got gross. :/ it's very heartbreaking I could've got shoes instead! But I got a bad pair of hair :c

How much of the blue are you supposed to add? That's the part I'm nervous about, I don't want the color to come out wrong because I added a weird amount. I've seen most people just eye the amount of blue but it's difficult to tell what the actual color is in the bowl. ;____;
Just add a tiny bit at a time mix it in and test it on some white tissue paper to see the colour x

katie_nicole00 This color actually fades nicely to a more turquoise color so I never dyed it again. However, if you want it to stay green you will have to. I can't remember how long it lasted, but I try to not wash as often as most do that helps.

Just coping and pasting it to my head. I've tried this dye brand before and it lasted pretty well but just try and avoid the sun o.o Idiot me dyed my hair blue and purple the one day and then the next day went it out for most of the day and the blue was almost completely gone when I got home :| the purple however was not.

I bought pravana color remover to remove black from my hair and get to the color I had previously dyed it before it worked and it's the healthiest way it didn't lighten my roots or anything which are naturally black it just extracts artificial color it's pravana 3 step artificial color extractor they use it in salons I bought it off amazon

+Jasmijn lalaa LOL:P I try to wash it out as much as possible (even using laundry detergent!) then I do a bleach bath. (I mix half bleach half water) Blues tend to be the hardest to remove, sadly. Bleach will be your frenemy from here. :P
