Valid, valid, valid! I see this theme popping up again and again: how the devil no longer shies away from public. And I've seen people I would've never thought being in this situation, becoming attracted, as a consequence, to Christianity. For my Master's Thesis (Public Theology) I wrote a paper on "Powers and Principalities", assessing the various understandings thereof (the evil seen around, of course, is explained one way by the "traditional" reading of Bible, and one way by the more "awakened" 🙂 - oh well - liberal theologians...e.g. Walter Wink). It you are interested and are inclined to invest some time in reading an 100-or-so pages long paper, let me know. I promise my Eastern-European accent doesn't come through that strongly 🙂. P.S. Glad he brought up Communism. As someone that experienced Ceasusescu's regime as a mere child, so shielded by parents and church as much as possible, I wish I had a time machine; I'd offer them one-week trips back to those days as a cure for their disease.
I've seen this happen to a few content creators in the last few years. .. I wonder if the new atheist movement has quietened down of late for the same reason (the presence of evil is hard to miss).
I don't know i used to like him way more before he seemed much deeper more nuanced and actually making more impact on an individual scale coz he was better in touch with the complicated human psyche🤔 and he had better humour 😀
The same thing happened to me . The last 3 years screamed Lucifer does exist. And my heart exploded into the Christianity and the truth of Jesus came over me and took all my fear away . Knowing he really does exist and he suffered ,died , and rose in 3 days to pay my wages . He is the light , love & LIFE . I traveled through the years with JP as a liberal, then my true moral compass awakened from the woke . Hallelujah

Satan, the Devil, the Enemy, these are all names for a specific, personal spirit being who has rejected his designed purose of glorifying and serving God. If you try to confuse the matter with made-up information and unsubstantiated claims, the you serve him. The real facts of the matter of spirit are all in the Bible. Whatever is not given to us through Scripture is not for us to know.

I “accidentally” came to god as well. Born Muslim, rejected the dogma of religion, got into psychology and philosophy in highschool which lead me to my “spiritual but not religious” phase in college. Then after being unsatisfied with it all, I found Christ ♥️
2 years ago I started attending a church with my wife, and the more I went, the more I was starting to realize what I was missing, and it led me to start reading the word for myself. I rededicated my life to Christ a year ago, and 6 months later I admitted myself to rehab for alcoholism, and I’ve been sober for 6 months with Christ by my side. Once I surrendered my life to him, and I stopped playing god with my life, it became infinitely better.
I’m good friends with one of JPs besties. I haven’t met JP in person yet, though we live pretty close to each other, but his bestie and I have been praying for JP for the better part of 2 years to see him come to faith in Christ. Nice to see prayers being answered - good for the soul of a believer.
Sorry but what JP is talking about here isn't a regeneration of spirit into a christian. I don't know what he's talking about but its not looking good. No talk of deep deep repentance? No talk of sin and an outpouring of one's self before God ?? No deep revelation of what Christ has done for us ?? @BattleAngelFan It's not about about feelings friends, It's about truth and redemption. I have done horrible things in my life when ignoring the truth about who God is and Why He sent Jesus. I turned to God in my lowest moment of desperation when I was overdosing on Cocaine and Opiates. My heart was pounding out of my chest and I knew I was likely to have a heart attack, a stroke, or a brain aneurysm... I cried out to the God I had put in the back of my mind and heart for years and years, and asked Him to save me from myself, to show me that He is there and truly cares about me, to intervene or I'd surely die from my uncontrollable addictions... He answered my prayers, settled my heart, sent a couple young men seemingly randomly at the guitar center where I was, who are believers to minister to me, encourage me, and pray over me. I knew that moment was specially ordained by God. I went to a Church for the first time in years and stood in the pew as beautiful lively worship music washed over me, and I wept and thanked God, because in that moment I knew I was forgiven and set free. I left that church a changed man. I give God all the Glory for every good thing in my life. For even each breathe I take is a gift. I hope you'll discover your need for God, for He created you on purpose and for a purpose, and every wonderful experience you have in your life is the result of His unfailing love for you. Amen, Tovo. Jesus changed me and regardless of the bad physical health i am in, i feel Jesus' peace and comfort in me. Jesus brought me to him about 5 years ago and for the first time in my life, i recognized that Jesus is God, and i am blessed to be one of his sheep.
I agree with him so much. I tried to be an atheist, then an agnostic.. Eventually I realized that the teachings of Jesus Christ are the truest truths! Now I'm attending Orthodox Catholic church in my country.. I feel grateful that God has brought me back to the truth and back to his eternal love, warmth and humility.. May God help us follow the teachings of lord Jesus christ, stay humble and strengthen our faith through our actions, Amen! ❤
Did he really say "Devil masquerades as an angel of light"??? This guy sure has been having some real Christian influence. He's closer to the God's Kingdom than he realizes. I pray for his complete regeneration and redemption.

@C C The Devil, Satan, the Enemy, are names of a specific spirit being in Scripture. He is addressed as morning star, King of Tyre, King of Babylon, and I think Prince of Persia. When Scripture uses uppercase, that's a pretty strong clue it's using proper nouns, addressing a specific, personal being. Thers are enemies, and there is the Enemy. You would be wise to learn there is one particular creature who set his throne above that of the Lord God Almighty, and who was cast to the earth with such ferocity he burned in fire and resembled lightning. Even Jesus tells us He saw Satan cast to Earth.
I've watched Jp for a few years for the humor, and was pleased when I saw him responding to current problems in society. I began to notice that he was slipping in some references to the spiritual side of things and actually began to pray for him to come to Christ. So far, so good. His accidental coming to God is due to God drawing him to Himself.
I've watched JP as well and loved most of his parodies. I'm glad JP seems to be on the right path, however, he doesn't mention the name of Jesus. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.
His testimony is a very pure and honest reflection of his own experience and changing values. He is going to reach a lot of people right where he is at.
In my early 20s I was reading a lot of New Age stuff. I noticed even amongst the New Age people there was a type of reverence for Jesus' teachings. "Christ Consciousness" was a big thing. So I decided maybe I should read the Bible. Started reading a book a night. Gave my life to Christ before even making it out of the OT.
There's a great Bible resource on the web called One book. One hour. It helps us better understand Bible teachings. All praise to our Heavenly Father and King Jesus.

This is how embracing God and Yeshua happened for me as well. It was slow and almost unnoticeable to me. It took one of my best friends asking “hey are you ready to accept Jesus yet?” And somewhat surprisingly, even to m at the time, I said “yes.”
He is a kind hearted man. This was something evident from the very beginning of his appearances in the Net. And God never forsakes kind hearted people, even if they are not consciously aware of Him. He works silently to awaken them to His presence. May Christ bless JP and his family and make Himself known to him in an even deeper way. As a Christian, I have a real problem with other Christians who go into judgement mode if a person converts and is not completely there yet. Instead of embracing, being there and assisting, the judgement, patronising and condescenment comes out. It makes me sad because becoming reborn is scary and so many fall to the wayside because of it. We are all broken sinners. The full teaching if Jesus is love. Let's love like Jesus taught us, not this.
And yet your judging others. Look at scriptures about uplifting other Christians. It is concerning for him if he hasn’t met the Lord. We are born flesh of flesh, when born again we are born if spirit. Spirit you often don’t see but you can feel it. And that is the spiritual part of Jesus, his omnipresence and omnipotent. One must be born again to enter the Kingdom of God. If he doesn’t have salvation, accepting Jesus as Lord and saviour, this would require our prayers God is very clear why he sent Jesus.
@DJM exactly how am I judging? Did I make a video and disect a video on exactly how Christian he is. How would you like it if people you don't know make a video about your beliefs? If you listen to testimonies, many are a journey of truly getting to God. In the end it is not our place to judge people on their journey. If you watch JP's videos you will see that he has changed alot over time, just pray for him. God is sweeping over celebrities and changing them. In South Africa, Jesus even moved on the head of the satanic church. Jesus forgave a killer on the cross and died so that we might be set free.
yes, I experienced this during my conversion, as though my conversion wasn't quick enough, and because there are portions of the bible I still don't resonate with, I'm being accused of not being 'fully Christian'. Yet- Christians themselves admit to there being outdated portions and can admit there are pieces they wouldn't recommend also. I think it's fair to agree with some portions and not others while still holding faith to Christ.
I'm in that same boat. I walked away from it for a while but I eventually came back. I'm glad I came back to God, although I know that He never left me. He was just waiting for me to come back to Him. Great video and feedback.
I returned to Christianity about 10 years ago. I never rejected it in anger; I just believed (falsely) that there was more to experiencing God than one religion could provide. I have found that I was wrong. It's been a slow process, but the roots have been especially growing stronger in the past couple months. This video has helped to nurture that process.
i would say to counter what you thought, that there is more to experiencing god than some churches will even lead you to believe. with so many different denominations, it sometimes feels impossible to find a church that really has the presence of god. seek god more than just on sundays and i'm sure you will feel the difference you're looking for (not saying you don't do that, it was just a general statement). ultimately god wants to have a relationship with us. he's with us always, not just on sundays. pray often, about the good and about the bad. seek his word and try to put on your biblical glasses when faced with hardships. recently had a trial in my family, a non believing member lashing out and saying hurtful things. the flesh wanted to respond to her remarks, i had to stop myself more than once and respond with the gospel, the love of god, and the way i believe jesus would have wanted me to respond to her. it's a journey, i pray that god continues to feed your hungry spirit.
Same, I was away from god and thought that its outdated, for old ppl etc., But more and more I find my self thinking, if not christianity, then to who we will turn to find morals and ethics? To the great phylosophers? To the various groups like feminist, lgbt+, red pill dudes? And I find my self thinking that ppl are exactly lost because they lost christianity and try to find it in other of these mentioned things.
I'm encouraged by his reasons for changing his mind. I don't think enough of us Christians think about the unseen realm, and the spiritual warfare that is all around us. I pray that many more walk the same journey!
"This Present Darkness" and "Piercing the Darkness" are two books that opened my eyes. They are fictional stories where one chapter is what we see happening around us, then the next chapter is the spiritual things happening from that chapter. It repeats that way through both books. Great way to visualize this spiritual realm.

Given that, you ought to be careful to measure God above a mere fabric-of-reality measuring stick. God created reality. He created us in his image but with limitations.
I agree with JP. I converted about a year after Covid started, and with a singularity (image of the beast coming to life) close at hand, I cried out to the Lord and He answered me.
Which is why God said you do not need to worship in the temple. God is everywhere you are. Not all churches are created equal, and not all the people inside them have spiritual fulfilment. You don't need public acknowledgement to have faith. It's nice to have a church with like minded individuals though. It can help strengthen you or others as you study the word. If you ever feel unwelcomed by a congregation, keep looking, God will lead to where you fit in best.

That's how I converted to Christianity! God showed me that evil...as in an actual spiritual force...was actually real! So much so that one day in desperation and fear I cried out for the REAL God to show Himself for me! The rest as they say is history.
Exactly the same thing happened to me. I didn't even believe in evil. When I got a glimpse of how evil the world was, I knew terror for the first time. 🙏 Jesus was the only name that stopped the spiritual attacks. ❤️ It's not logical and it is what happened to me. 😊

JP's points are so well explained. Some of the same things have helped me grow in my faith and trust in God. The last few weeks I've been thinking about how the last few years everyone else has proven untrustworthy and wicked, and God has been proven righteous and true over and over.

Let's give some space here. JP is on a journey seeking something, whether he can clearly identify what it is yet or not. The words of God in Isaiah come to mind. "You will seek Me and find Me when you seek with all your heart," and "'I will be found by you,' declares the Lord." God is using current circumstances to draw people to Himself. I love seeing this kind of response. The greatest thing I can do for JP and the people that follow him is just pray, "God, draw him to Yourself and the truth. May YOU be found by him. May the deepest hunger of his soul be satisfied by You."
I’m so glad The Lord opened JP’s eyes to the truth of this world. Hopefully he can read the Bible with all understanding and embracement, getting to truly know and love his Saviour.
I have been a Christian for 36 years. I have noticed his comedy changing over the years. I was 12 when I became a Christian. Whether by God's choice or my choice to seek the truth, it doesn't matter. I have always been His since before I was born. I love my Creator with all my heart, and I am thankful for all His blessings. Am I sinless? No. I still haven't figured that out, but I trust Him to make me like His Son as He promised (Rom 8:29).
I have watched JP for years, and have seen his evolving beliefs. If he has not accepted Christ yet, he is moving very close. We are watching Christ open his eyes, and that is a wonderful thing.
@@josephpchajek2685 I have to disagree with you. You are holding him to a standard he may not be able to attain if he has not yet accepted Christ, but is only moving in that direction. There is room for grace, and the Lord is not put off by his stumbling towards Him. I believe the Lord is patiently waiting as the prodical's father was waiting for his son to come to his senses and repent. It seems obvious that the Lord is at work, and it is not important that the work He does meet the standard of our limited perspective.

The presence of evil fully awakened me to the spiritual nature of the world when I was in my teens. Subsequently people showing me the love of Jesus brought me to the Lord a few years later.

I’m awakening with JP. I am spiritual but I’m leaning into God now more and more as I see the world going through these huge shifts. It truly is a spiritual war.
The evil shown in the last few years makes it undeniable that we’re in a period of spiritual warfare. I work in the medical field and I saw firsthand and experienced this evil. Lies, manipulation, gaslighting, abuse, and fearmongering. I confess that I found myself considering to end my life, because I could not tolerate the evil I experienced but I also was too proud and too fearful and too angry to leave, thinking I’d never get a job again. Making the decision I’d been fighting against for months, to leave instead of killing myself, was surreal. “From within but from outside” is the best way I can put it. God gave me strength when I truly had none left. They fired me anyway, but it didn’t matter anymore.
All those years ago when he went viral, I eventually stopped following him because I am wary of non Christian spirituality. This is really encouraging. Thanks for sharing.
It always seemed like he was coming along, and fast. The way he could parody the ultra spiritual side, showed he saw through a lot of it. I'm glad to see him coming right out and admitting to belief in Christ.
@@FRN2013 It's in his full video and this one just has little excerpts. He's embraced Christianity, prayer and God. He hasn't been going to all the other religions first, like so many others do. His drift straight into Christianity felt right to him, so he's embracing it.

I started noticing changes in JP since he and his wife had a baby. It's interesting, because I've seen similar changes in people, including myself when we had our first child. You begin to see things differently, being less focused on yourself, and more on your child, because you love and want to protect your child, from harm and danger. I am happy for JP and his family! Our grown kids have turned away from God, and it is breaking my heart. 😢 Have you done a video about how to deal with your grown kids being sucked up into the whole group think going on, (or the mass formation psychosis)? Of course, I am praying for each of our grown kids, and believe it is never too late or too hard for God to transform us, renewing our minds and hearts, through Jesus, our Lord. It's our free will that is a great thing, but also very scary to me now, because I do want our kids to all love Jesus. I know I'm not the Holy Spirit, which is exactly what they need, so I will continue to pray, that God sends the Holy Spirit to convict and reveal the truth of God. I can't even imagine how hard it is for our Heavenly Father to experience such harsh rejection from us! I'm so upset our kids have rejected God. God must be even more heartbroken, when we ignore and or reject the love and truth of God! Thanks be for God's wonderful mercy, grace and patience with us! Even when we think we know more , want to live our lives without him, and choose to follow others who the world loves, completely rejecting the love of the truth, for lies! I have been trying to have a relationship with our adult kids, focusing on positive and non confrontational things, but unfortunately, several of our kids aren't content to agree to disagree, and want my husband and I, as well as our other kids, to think, believe, and live life like they are choosing to live! My husband and I can't believe what we hear and are seeing in our grown kids! I get that we all go through our own journey and choosing our own beliefs and of course, God himself, even gives each of us the freedom to choose or reject him. I'm heartbroken and feel crushed that our kids are being so deceived! I would greatly appreciate your advice, biblical examples of parents dealing with their grown kids, and prayers. Thank you so much for your ministry. I feel like we are watching the world go crazy and want us to join them!
For what it’s worth, your children will probably come around eventually. The trigger seems to be either having children of their own or hitting early middle age. With today’s atomized hyper-secular society, you might have to wait until they start getting some gray hairs unfortunately. Keep praying
I believe they will come around too. Keep praying. My parents brought me up in a Christian home, as I grew I turned away, now in my 30s turned back to God. Just like JP, during this whole weird 3 years got me searching for answers. Keep praying that their eyes will be open. I do understand the problem you have though, my neices and nephews argue with their parents (they are in their 20s) unfortunately that generation seemed to be so brain washed that they aren't even mature enough to try to see things from both sides. It's quite sad. But there is hope!!!❤
I’m constantly praying that my children who’re adults now get to truly have an encounter with Jesus in a unique and powerful way that it’ll become a stone marker in their lives journey and will cause them to never turn their backs from God until they see Him face to face. That’s been my ongoing prayer and I hold fast by faith on that request of mine.
That was one of the things that sent me on a quest for God. Thinking if there is this much evil, there must be more good. Also, needed divine forgiveness for things I wasn't proud of and asked God to get me to someone who knows him so I could know him too and met a woman who gave me a bible and told me to pray Psalm 51 and prayed for a month and then Holy Spirit came in power and cleansed me from my sins.

I very much experienced something similar in the last few years. I was raised in the church, and my family is very open about their faith. We always had very open and enthusiastic bible/faith based discussions and we were very involved with the church community. As an adult, it's not as if I ever formally renounced my faith, I just grew a deep apathy about it. I didn't really ever find a new church after moving out of my home town, I lost the daily habit of prayer, and rarely touched my bible. Sometime around the mid-pandemic shutdowns I just felt compelled to start listening to the Bible at night as I laid in bed, and eventually started reading scripture and praying regularly. My fiancee and I recently started going to church again. It's not as if my life was terrible before, but I didn't have the daily joy that I felt as a kid, and now I feel that everyday. It's amazing, and honestly can move me to quite tears of joy even in the most mundane parts of my day.
I just saw his video I was so happy, I was in new age like him before and when Jesus saved me I prayed for him and all who I was following I thank God for this amazing eye opening, his reasoning is solid so much maturity I was amazed and learned a lot & I pray God will continue with Him and use his experience and make it a testimony in Jesus name Thank you my brother a lot will be blessed too from your video 🌸
I'm glad he change his mind, i haven't follow JP at all, but now I'll check him. Hopefully his conversion will help others and God will use his influence to reach other lost sheeps. I watched his video earlier tonight and, although he has not received Christ as savior, I got the feeling Jesus is gonna be knocking at the door of JP's heart soon. I was encouraged, and happy to hear what he had to say.
My journey back towards Christ started with a psychedelic trip. From that trip I got that what if I'm not right about what I believe. Earlier this year in my youtube recommended video's I saw a song by a band called Theocracy called Laying the Demon to Rest and this song became significant to me because it spoke to me about what I as struggling with which was a strong addiction to pornography. I took that as my first sign as I hadn't really looked at any Christian material in a very long time and certainly not online in over a decade. Listening to the song I heard a voice telling me that I was forgiven and that I needed to put my faith in Christ. From that point on I've been making good progress by trying to follow Christ's teachings and listening to and consuming as much information as possible and I started actually reading my Bible. I've had one other conversation with Christ but I'm eternally grateful Christ lifted me up in my time of desperation, hopelessness and nihilism. Christ is my Lord and Saviour.
I am a Christian. While I don't want to see a demon hiding around every tree, I think his point about evil is true. Like this goes beyond just bad people doing bad things. Its like "man... that is evil!"
Yeah evil isn’t all just individuals who are separately and personally making bad choices in a vacuum. If you think about truly despicable evil acts like wide scale senseless murder, very few individual people are even capable of something like that. And yet many genocides have happened in human history. When there’s large scale participation in evil it becomes stronger and people become more bound to it. We don’t really have a good explanation of why or how that can be true without some element of demonic spirituality driving it.
The only devil you need be concerned about is that part of yourself that would have you disobey your own conscience. Christ communicates to us through our conscience and through our heart.
Same for me the past year i found myself back in church, more and more often.. i asked the lord to take me on a journey and ive been on my way ever since, discoverig new works, new orgs, new vids , new people, new churches, enriching me all along the way
Yesterday, I watched his whole video and rejoice to see him responding to The Spirit's call. Does he know Jesus as SAVIOR...that is the question....Slow or fast conversion, it all comes down to confession, repentance, redemption, salvation, justification (through that blood of Jesus), sanctification...taking up the cross after we have given our all to Him.
Seeing what's happening to JP makes me genuinely happy. It's such a natural conclusion, the way he states it. He is naturally being drawn to God because he's making a conscious effort to get as far away from evil as he possibly can, and we all know (as JP said) that there's only one other direction we can go in. And that's towards God.
With almost 3M subs, he has a platform in which to encourage folks to open their eyes to the Truth. Bless you JP Sears, you too David Wood and all reading.

I see this theme popping up again and again: how the devil no longer shies away from public. And I've seen people I would've never thought being in this situation, becoming attracted, as a consequence, to Christianity.
For my Master's Thesis (Public Theology) I wrote a paper on "Powers and Principalities", assessing the various understandings thereof (the evil seen around, of course, is explained one way by the "traditional" reading of Bible, and one way by the more "awakened" 🙂 - oh well - liberal theologians...e.g. Walter Wink).
It you are interested and are inclined to invest some time in reading an 100-or-so pages long paper, let me know. I promise my Eastern-European accent doesn't come through that strongly 🙂.
P.S. Glad he brought up Communism. As someone that experienced Ceasusescu's regime as a mere child, so shielded by parents and church as much as possible, I wish I had a time machine; I'd offer them one-week trips back to those days as a cure for their disease.

2 years ago I started attending a church with my wife, and the more I went, the more I was starting to realize what I was missing, and it led me to start reading the word for myself.
I rededicated my life to Christ a year ago, and 6 months later I admitted myself to rehab for alcoholism, and I’ve been sober for 6 months with Christ by my side.
Once I surrendered my life to him, and I stopped playing god with my life, it became infinitely better.

I have done horrible things in my life when ignoring the truth about who God is and Why He sent Jesus. I turned to God in my lowest moment of desperation when I was overdosing on Cocaine and Opiates. My heart was pounding out of my chest and I knew I was likely to have a heart attack, a stroke, or a brain aneurysm...
I cried out to the God I had put in the back of my mind and heart for years and years, and asked Him to save me from myself, to show me that He is there and truly cares about me, to intervene or I'd surely die from my uncontrollable addictions...
He answered my prayers, settled my heart, sent a couple young men seemingly randomly at the guitar center where I was, who are believers to minister to me, encourage me, and pray over me. I knew that moment was specially ordained by God. I went to a Church for the first time in years and stood in the pew as beautiful lively worship music washed over me, and I wept and thanked God, because in that moment I knew I was forgiven and set free. I left that church a changed man.
I give God all the Glory for every good thing in my life. For even each breathe I take is a gift.
I hope you'll discover your need for God, for He created you on purpose and for a purpose, and every wonderful experience you have in your life is the result of His unfailing love for you.

The Devil, Satan, the Enemy, are names of a specific spirit being in Scripture.
He is addressed as morning star, King of Tyre, King of Babylon, and I think Prince of Persia.
When Scripture uses uppercase, that's a pretty strong clue it's using proper nouns, addressing a specific, personal being.
Thers are enemies, and there is the Enemy.
You would be wise to learn there is one particular creature who set his throne above that of the Lord God Almighty, and who was cast to the earth with such ferocity he burned in fire and resembled lightning.
Even Jesus tells us He saw Satan cast to Earth.
I've watched Jp for a few years for the humor, and was pleased when I saw him responding to current problems in society. I began to notice that he was slipping in some references to the spiritual side of things and actually began to pray for him to come to Christ. So far, so good. His accidental coming to God is due to God drawing him to Himself.

In my early 20s I was reading a lot of New Age stuff. I noticed even amongst the New Age people there was a type of reverence for Jesus' teachings. "Christ Consciousness" was a big thing. So I decided maybe I should read the Bible. Started reading a book a night. Gave my life to Christ before even making it out of the OT.

This is how embracing God and Yeshua happened for me as well. It was slow and almost unnoticeable to me. It took one of my best friends asking “hey are you ready to accept Jesus yet?” And somewhat surprisingly, even to m at the time, I said “yes.”

As a Christian, I have a real problem with other Christians who go into judgement mode if a person converts and is not completely there yet.
Instead of embracing, being there and assisting, the judgement, patronising and condescenment comes out.
It makes me sad because becoming reborn is scary and so many fall to the wayside because of it. We are all broken sinners. The full teaching if Jesus is love. Let's love like Jesus taught us, not this.

If you listen to testimonies, many are a journey of truly getting to God. In the end it is not our place to judge people on their journey. If you watch JP's videos you will see that he has changed alot over time, just pray for him. God is sweeping over celebrities and changing them. In South Africa, Jesus even moved on the head of the satanic church. Jesus forgave a killer on the cross and died so that we might be set free.
yes, I experienced this during my conversion, as though my conversion wasn't quick enough, and because there are portions of the bible I still don't resonate with, I'm being accused of not being 'fully Christian'. Yet- Christians themselves admit to there being outdated portions and can admit there are pieces they wouldn't recommend also. I think it's fair to agree with some portions and not others while still holding faith to Christ.

I returned to Christianity about 10 years ago. I never rejected it in anger; I just believed (falsely) that there was more to experiencing God than one religion could provide. I have found that I was wrong. It's been a slow process, but the roots have been especially growing stronger in the past couple months. This video has helped to nurture that process.
i would say to counter what you thought, that there is more to experiencing god than some churches will even lead you to believe. with so many different denominations, it sometimes feels impossible to find a church that really has the presence of god. seek god more than just on sundays and i'm sure you will feel the difference you're looking for (not saying you don't do that, it was just a general statement). ultimately god wants to have a relationship with us. he's with us always, not just on sundays. pray often, about the good and about the bad. seek his word and try to put on your biblical glasses when faced with hardships. recently had a trial in my family, a non believing member lashing out and saying hurtful things. the flesh wanted to respond to her remarks, i had to stop myself more than once and respond with the gospel, the love of god, and the way i believe jesus would have wanted me to respond to her. it's a journey, i pray that god continues to feed your hungry spirit.

"This Present Darkness" and "Piercing the Darkness" are two books that opened my eyes. They are fictional stories where one chapter is what we see happening around us, then the next chapter is the spiritual things happening from that chapter. It repeats that way through both books. Great way to visualize this spiritual realm.

I agree with JP. I converted about a year after Covid started, and with a singularity (image of the beast coming to life) close at hand, I cried out to the Lord and He answered me.

Which is why God said you do not need to worship in the temple. God is everywhere you are. Not all churches are created equal, and not all the people inside them have spiritual fulfilment. You don't need public acknowledgement to have faith. It's nice to have a church with like minded individuals though. It can help strengthen you or others as you study the word. If you ever feel unwelcomed by a congregation, keep looking, God will lead to where you fit in best.

That's how I converted to Christianity! God showed me that evil...as in an actual spiritual force...was actually real! So much so that one day in desperation and fear I cried out for the REAL God to show Himself for me! The rest as they say is history.

JP's points are so well explained. Some of the same things have helped me grow in my faith and trust in God. The last few weeks I've been thinking about how the last few years everyone else has proven untrustworthy and wicked, and God has been proven righteous and true over and over.

Let's give some space here. JP is on a journey seeking something, whether he can clearly identify what it is yet or not. The words of God in Isaiah come to mind. "You will seek Me and find Me when you seek with all your heart," and "'I will be found by you,' declares the Lord." God is using current circumstances to draw people to Himself. I love seeing this kind of response. The greatest thing I can do for JP and the people that follow him is just pray, "God, draw him to Yourself and the truth. May YOU be found by him. May the deepest hunger of his soul be satisfied by You."
I’m so glad The Lord opened JP’s eyes to the truth of this world. Hopefully he can read the Bible with all understanding and embracement, getting to truly know and love his Saviour.
I have been a Christian for 36 years. I have noticed his comedy changing over the years. I was 12 when I became a Christian. Whether by God's choice or my choice to seek the truth, it doesn't matter. I have always been His since before I was born. I love my Creator with all my heart, and I am thankful for all His blessings. Am I sinless? No. I still haven't figured that out, but I trust Him to make me like His Son as He promised (Rom 8:29).
I have watched JP for years, and have seen his evolving beliefs. If he has not accepted Christ yet, he is moving very close. We are watching Christ open his eyes, and that is a wonderful thing.
@@josephpchajek2685 I have to disagree with you. You are holding him to a standard he may not be able to attain if he has not yet accepted Christ, but is only moving in that direction. There is room for grace, and the Lord is not put off by his stumbling towards Him. I believe the Lord is patiently waiting as the prodical's father was waiting for his son to come to his senses and repent. It seems obvious that the Lord is at work, and it is not important that the work He does meet the standard of our limited perspective.

The presence of evil fully awakened me to the spiritual nature of the world when I was in my teens. Subsequently people showing me the love of Jesus brought me to the Lord a few years later.

The evil shown in the last few years makes it undeniable that we’re in a period of spiritual warfare. I work in the medical field and I saw firsthand and experienced this evil. Lies, manipulation, gaslighting, abuse, and fearmongering. I confess that I found myself considering to end my life, because I could not tolerate the evil I experienced but I also was too proud and too fearful and too angry to leave, thinking I’d never get a job again. Making the decision I’d been fighting against for months, to leave instead of killing myself, was surreal. “From within but from outside” is the best way I can put it. God gave me strength when I truly had none left. They fired me anyway, but it didn’t matter anymore.
All who live godly lives will suffer persecution.
Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might!

@@FRN2013 It's in his full video and this one just has little excerpts. He's embraced Christianity, prayer and God. He hasn't been going to all the other religions first, like so many others do. His drift straight into Christianity felt right to him, so he's embracing it.

this is the reason i love this man. in the 90's everything started to be washed out and if david was not so strong or aggressive he would have been just ignored or complicit. thank god we have david wood and also think god we still have people willing to be pursicuted and still stand up for what is right.
I started noticing changes in JP since he and his wife had a baby. It's interesting, because I've seen similar changes in people, including myself when we had our first child. You begin to see things differently, being less focused on yourself, and more on your child, because you love and want to protect your child, from harm and danger. I am happy for JP and his family!
Our grown kids have turned away from God, and it is breaking my heart. 😢

Of course, I am praying for each of our grown kids, and believe it is never too late or too hard for God to transform us, renewing our minds and hearts, through Jesus, our Lord. It's our free will that is a great thing, but also very scary to me now, because I do want our kids to all love Jesus. I know I'm not the Holy Spirit, which is exactly what they need, so I will continue to pray, that God sends the Holy Spirit to convict and reveal the truth of God.
I can't even imagine how hard it is for our Heavenly Father to experience such harsh rejection from us! I'm so upset our kids have rejected God. God must be even more heartbroken, when we ignore and or reject the love and truth of God!
Thanks be for God's wonderful mercy, grace and patience with us! Even when we think we know more , want to live our lives without him, and choose to follow others who the world loves, completely rejecting the love of the truth, for lies!
I have been trying to have a relationship with our adult kids, focusing on positive and non confrontational things, but unfortunately, several of our kids aren't content to agree to disagree, and want my husband and I, as well as our other kids, to think, believe, and live life like they are choosing to live!
My husband and I can't believe what we hear and are seeing in our grown kids!
I get that we all go through our own journey and choosing our own beliefs and of course, God himself, even gives each of us the freedom to choose or reject him. I'm heartbroken and feel crushed that our kids are being so deceived!
I would greatly appreciate your advice, biblical examples of parents dealing with their grown kids, and prayers. Thank you so much for your ministry. I feel like we are watching the world go crazy and want us to join them!
For what it’s worth, your children will probably come around eventually. The trigger seems to be either having children of their own or hitting early middle age. With today’s atomized hyper-secular society, you might have to wait until they start getting some gray hairs unfortunately. Keep praying

I believe they will come around too. Keep praying. My parents brought me up in a Christian home, as I grew I turned away, now in my 30s turned back to God. Just like JP, during this whole weird 3 years got me searching for answers. Keep praying that their eyes will be open. I do understand the problem you have though, my neices and nephews argue with their parents (they are in their 20s) unfortunately that generation seemed to be so brain washed that they aren't even mature enough to try to see things from both sides. It's quite sad. But there is hope!!!❤
I’m constantly praying that my children who’re adults now get to truly have an encounter with Jesus in a unique and powerful way that it’ll become a stone marker in their lives journey and will cause them to never turn their backs from God until they see Him face to face. That’s been my ongoing prayer and I hold fast by faith on that request of mine.
That was one of the things that sent me on a quest for God. Thinking if there is this much evil, there must be more good. Also, needed divine forgiveness for things I wasn't proud of and asked God to get me to someone who knows him so I could know him too and met a woman who gave me a bible and told me to pray Psalm 51 and prayed for a month and then Holy Spirit came in power and cleansed me from my sins.
Saw that video and was very moved and inspired by it. JP Sears has been experiencing utterly transformative personal growth, something I know you are familiar with! God bless and protect you both!

I very much experienced something similar in the last few years. I was raised in the church, and my family is very open about their faith. We always had very open and enthusiastic bible/faith based discussions and we were very involved with the church community. As an adult, it's not as if I ever formally renounced my faith, I just grew a deep apathy about it. I didn't really ever find a new church after moving out of my home town, I lost the daily habit of prayer, and rarely touched my bible.
Sometime around the mid-pandemic shutdowns I just felt compelled to start listening to the Bible at night as I laid in bed, and eventually started reading scripture and praying regularly.
My fiancee and I recently started going to church again.
It's not as if my life was terrible before, but I didn't have the daily joy that I felt as a kid, and now I feel that everyday. It's amazing, and honestly can move me to quite tears of joy even in the most mundane parts of my day.
That’s what the Spirit does, He doesn’t let you go and steers you back. So parental 😊

But i say for his faith to remain strong, is because if he is a Christian now, he might believe some heretical view, just because he is new and doesn't know. I watched his video earlier tonight and, although he has not received Christ as savior, I got the feeling Jesus is gonna be knocking at the door of JP's heart soon. I was encouraged, and happy to hear what he had to say.

My journey back towards Christ started with a psychedelic trip. From that trip I got that what if I'm not right about what I believe. Earlier this year in my youtube recommended video's I saw a song by a band called Theocracy called Laying the Demon to Rest and this song became significant to me because it spoke to me about what I as struggling with which was a strong addiction to pornography. I took that as my first sign as I hadn't really looked at any Christian material in a very long time and certainly not online in over a decade. Listening to the song I heard a voice telling me that I was forgiven and that I needed to put my faith in Christ. From that point on I've been making good progress by trying to follow Christ's teachings and listening to and consuming as much information as possible and I started actually reading my Bible. I've had one other conversation with Christ but I'm eternally grateful Christ lifted me up in my time of desperation, hopelessness and nihilism. Christ is my Lord and Saviour.
The Bible says "Seek and ye shall find." Good news for JP Sears. Glad to here that from him.
I am a Christian. While I don't want to see a demon hiding around every tree, I think his point about evil is true. Like this goes beyond just bad people doing bad things. Its like "man... that is evil!"
Yeah evil isn’t all just individuals who are separately and personally making bad choices in a vacuum.
If you think about truly despicable evil acts like wide scale senseless murder, very few individual people are even capable of something like that. And yet many genocides have happened in human history.
When there’s large scale participation in evil it becomes stronger and people become more bound to it. We don’t really have a good explanation of why or how that can be true without some element of demonic spirituality driving it.
The only devil you need be concerned about is that part of yourself that would have you disobey your own conscience.
Christ communicates to us through our conscience and through our heart.

Same for me the past year i found myself back in church, more and more often.. i asked the lord to take me on a journey and ive been on my way ever since, discoverig new works, new orgs, new vids , new people, new churches, enriching me all along the way
Yesterday, I watched his whole video and rejoice to see him responding to The Spirit's call. Does he know Jesus as SAVIOR...that is the question....Slow or fast conversion, it all comes down to confession, repentance, redemption, salvation, justification (through that blood of Jesus), sanctification...taking up the cross after we have given our all to Him.
Seeing what's happening to JP makes me genuinely happy. It's such a natural conclusion, the way he states it. He is naturally being drawn to God because he's making a conscious effort to get as far away from evil as he possibly can, and we all know (as JP said) that there's only one other direction we can go in. And that's towards God.
To God be the glory.
