I normally grow my new strawberry plants from the runners on my old plants, but this year I did spend a tedious time removing seeds with tweezers, oh the fun! My seeds are light green though so I’m going to try your method which lets the seeds darken. So happy I found you. I just adore the taste of home grown strawberries and have had a nightly harvest for two weeks now. Delicious! 😋🍓🍓🍓

Thanks for the tips Lee, another good video. Tried overwintering strawberry plants this year, wasn't very successful, most of them died and rotted. So, three weeks ago I bought some seeds and at this time, nearly 3 weeks in there is no sign of any germination. Found some reduced price strawberries at the supermarket yesterday and thought I would give your method a go. Now to dry the beggars out. Fingers crossed.

I am just getting in to gardening or should I say growing food.
Thanks for your videos there a great help.
My problem is most veg I've noticed you sow in winter but I am trying some
Tomatoes now in late August growing in a greenhouse. They will probably fail because of this,
but it's a project I am doing because my 5 year old granddaughter loves this sort of thing and I am starting
to find a passion in it. We live in the South west so hopefully if we get a mild winter and a reasonable warm autumn
maybe just maybe we might get some fruit from these seedlings. I am not holding out much hope but doing this
has inspired me to learn and and get ready for winter, so we can get ready and start are veg and fruit crop.
So thanks for the videos, keep up the good work, it's people like you that make sense of books.
Love to meet you and pick your brains. Thanks again from a novice.
