Omg! I am love with you channel, you make all of this so relate able and easy to understand. Thank God for you! lol I just started my indoor seedlings this week for multiple variates in door with paper cups(four holes at the bottom for leakage) I got some potting soil mix from the dollar store and it is very chunky not very fine at all. Lots of clumps that don't dissolve in my hands. Im worried that it will effect my starter seedlings. Should I get different soil from like a home Depot that's slightly finer?(Doesn't quality or price of soil matter? Will this effect my plants growth? So many questions I appreciate you for reading it as well as possible answering!

Excellent, thanks for sharing. I grow MarketMore 76 in zone 9, Sacramento, Ca. I can only grow these in 2 seasons, (from seed indoors) for March and April. Then direct sown in late August for a Sept/Oct crop. Too hot to grow in summer here. Love Cukes. I use these as slicers, skin on for salads. I have never pickled these though I hear that is a popular way to process these.

Glad I watched this because I didn't know most of this stuff. I'm across the pond in N.S. but I think the weather here is close to yours. (Although it was 33 degrees Celsius yesterday).
I planted loads of veggies this year (as always) but of the12 cucumbers I planted, only 2 germinated. They are now under a glass cloche I hope they thrive.
My beetroot, lettuce, radish, lettuce, spinach, peppers and spuds are all doing well. Keep ya fingers crossed I get to enjoy some fresh salads this year.

Same, my mom usually does this stuff but since work and stuff theese past 2 years she hasnt done anything much in the garden. Now cuz of corona and recently bought plant house or whatever its called lol, we both got time to focus on gardening :)
