We know that the Kawasaki Heavy Industries & CRRC Qingdao Sifang C151C was commonly spotted on the North South Line. But what about the East West Line? The C151C was designed to operate in both lines. But did it debut already? Watch the video to find out more.

As of today, 4 November 2023, 2 C151Cs were deployed onto the EWL! These sets are 713/714 and 715/716. They are running on T304 and T309 respectively! It's even more good news that these trains are NO LONGER serving as enhancement trains, which means that they are going to be regularly deployed on the EWL! I also hope 703/704 would run on EWL one day!!!😄

Well, on 28 June 2023, there was a track point fault between Joo Koon and Jurong East station, which resulted in 3 C151Cs (705/706, 715/716 and 717/718) diverting from UPD and NSL into the EWL, serving as enhancement trains to relieve crowds during the AM peak demand hours.

I hope to see set 703/704 permanently along EWL once it returns from its 1 year and 5 months of MIA (Missing In Action). Until then, it might as well be the only C151C to run on EWL.

The C151C did debut on the East West Line three times. But IDK this year will debut. But the Tuas Depot said that C151C will go there in the future. I think there will be a batch 2. But its never going to happened. But I hope someone will ride it if they are lucky.
