One of my favorite things about Michael J Sullivan (and something I hope Sanderson returns to) is that you can tell he writes multiple books in a series before release so he can make sure there is logical arcs across books and also allows for a lot of hints and easter eggs to be dropped for later stories.

I love the Riyria Revelations so much!! I have started The Legends of the Last Empire and love seeing some of the world and how it began. Sullivan basically states we can read them in whatever order we want. Next up will be the Riyria Chronicles, and then The Rise and Fall series. I just really love the world he's built!

Im glad book two was better, I'm pretty ruthless when it comes to reading series, if the first book doesn't grab me im pretty unlikely to continue on 😅
