    Parts used in this install
    Dana 30 Spartan Locker: amzn.to/3oUtyEG
Dana 30 Lube Locker gasket: amzn.to/43rYawm
    Yukon D30 carrier: amzn.to/3P57fqt
I did't see the Spicer Dana 30 carrier on Amazon. The Yukon carrier will be fine as long as you CAREFULLY open up the center pin hole to fit the Spartan Locker Pin.

Thank you for this excellent educational video. You saved me during my YJ rebuild with all those great videos. I am now working on my TJ and your videos continue to guide me down the correct path. Greatly appreciated. Carry On Sir, You Rock!

I did this in my YJ about a year and a half ago. Works great off-road although it can get a bit tough to handle in tight cornering situations.
The snow is another animal all together. On snow covered roads it seems to have a mind of its own making the jeep quite the handful. I live in NH and wouldn't do a lunchbox in the front again. If I lived down south or south west I wouldn't hesitate to do it again.

We get a lot of ice. So, I'm sure it will be an adventure to drive. I've got a Posi-lok cable set up for the CAD. For video/testing purposes I may set that up so I can test scenarios. It may come in handy for the icy road days as well.

Thanks for the video. I have a fully stock 95' YJ and do not plan on altering the wheels/ lift etc. This the best locker to install so I can keep it fully stock? Using in snow out west only and no off roading.

I'm about to buy one of these Spartan "lunch box lockers" for my '94 XJ. I have found several for around $122 with free shipping. From the information I have gathered, the TorQ locker is the best of the bunch. It is slightly easier to install and has less moving parts, but at almost three times the cost of a Spartan locker, ($349) I'll pass and go with the Spartan. Those "TorQ" Boyz are on a mission to get rich quick! I've never heard of anyone having any problems with the Spartan locker other than driving in the snow. I refuse to live anywhere where it gets cold enough for that to happen 🥶
