Trains at Leicester. MML. 22/03/2024.

A fantastic 2 and a half hour stay here at the always good station of Leicester on the Midland Mainline where we see plenty of services from Cross Country, East Midlands Railway and Freight from DB Cargo UK, DC RailFreight, Freightliner and GBRF.
Always enjoy filming at this station and today was no different. Plenty to be seen, good bit of freight to keep us going. As for passenger traffic, busy enough. Never really waiting any longer than 10 minutes. If you've never been to Leicester before then I do recommend it.
As usual, I haven't the faintest idea as to where I'll be filming next so just keep an eye on Twitter, the Community posts and the WhatsApp channel for updates.

Great video and commentary as always, thank you. If you could go back to pre Beeching what 3 stations that have closed would you have liked to have been able to visit? I think mine would have been Evercreech Junction, Leicester Central and Wolverhampton Low Level.

Might be a bit young to remember this but I'm to believe there was a station in Sutton Park which I wouldn't mind seeing open
