Oh E! A straight edge and a rotary cutter on the fabric, zip zip and you're straight without worry. I'm not about fussy stuff either, just like you, but the rotary cutter us fast and easy... I promise! 🙂 OK I see you have a rotary cutter...I just find it faster.

How clever to stitch the pages together to save on ink & time! You made me so nervous when you were trying to straighten the fabric lol. As a quilter I’m so used to everything having to be accurate!
Lol thankfully it is not that way in journals. Nothing has to be perfect and I am glad. Lol

This is very pretty so far! I just had one of those envelopes but I think I threw it away, because I didn’t know what I would do with it. I can’t wait to see how you decorate the rest of this journal.
I like the bags that are filled with gray paper fiber. Still crunchy, but also soft.

Are you printing on regular paper or cardstock? Is there a "rule" on this?

Can you tell me is pva glue like Elmer's glue??
Some say it is the same. I don’t think so but you can always read the ingredients. I have never tried elmers glue.
