    Been fencing for 4 months and this is how we do it every time. Just did 20,000 feet of chain link around a solar field and the amounts of times I did this, it’s like muscle memory

      What an amazing tool when you get the feel for it. I love using it for just about everything. I hang gates with it, stretch barb wire with it. Flip it and lift up huge gates with it. Spread things apart. You name it...

      @@danbuckley6584man … you need to get one and try if after all these years . I love it . So handy . I hang gates with it too . And adjust them . And you can reverse it and lift gates up and spread stuff apart. I can stretch t-wire too and barb wire. And it works as a clamp and you can lift a trailer with it too and much more. Go buy one already 😂they call it the fencers best friend 👍🏻

      "Yeah thankfully my company can do better, and is better than all of you"
      > Doesn't post company name, doesn't post any proof, doesn't give any information
      Real professionals don't shit on others, especially with zero to show for it. Period. You're nothing more than a basic apprentice until you get over that, and until you actually prove something you're just a liar pretending to be a tradesperson online.
      Tell us what he did wrong, and how your amazing company would do it. Nut up or shut up. Otherwise you're nothing more than just another little bitch in the trades.

    How much gap should start with on the pulling end between the rod and post?

    • @fastflo1
      @fastflo1  Před měsícem

      I normally pull the fence as tight as possible and use my best judgment. Better off a little loose, and take some out. Rather than too tight and having to add. It is also does matter how long the stretch is. The smaller the stretch, closer to the post.

    that pull jack works great as a push jack, just pull the rod out and turn it over. Works great for spreading metal door jambs.

    We had to put take one apart and put it back together earlier this year, and it took to of us pushing and a third with a wrench and impact. I was really wondering how tf it was done after that because that sucked😂

    When you said pole jack I was thinking about work, pole jacks in electrical construction is a set of hydraulic jacks that press together or jack apart sections of steel utility poles.

    Do you have a tool to tension the bottom strand wire? Had to look for videos and made a crude one out of fence top pipe and a piece of rebar. Just curious if theres a commercially avaliable option. Thanks for sharing, i need to find me one of these.

      A cable gripper pulled by a set of come-alongs or lever chain hoist

    • @danbuckley6584
      @danbuckley6584 Před 8 měsíci +1

      There's a couple really cool simple designs for tension wire. I think my favorite is literally a cone with a ring to hook to on the top and a band going around it. You put the wire between the band and ring and pull it tight with a come a long and physics did the rest. We had more complicated designs that didn't work as well

    • @fastflo1
      @fastflo1  Před 8 měsíci +2

      I will make a video of all the options I use and show you something you can make also . Give me a little time I’ll get it done . But for now go get a come a long and a wire grip .
