Pile, dual, pyramid and many others are worse than pioneer. Those subs might be too expensive for wat u get but theyre not that bad. At 80 for them would be a good bang for buck. They do handle the 350 rms they claim. It handles a Rockford punch 250 no problem till 3/4. The amp put out 400+
Everyone can't afford all the high end stuff. But I love this. He did it just for the love of it. And came out to show it

Amps are 100% NOT cheap.. there alotta $$ for a 4 channel amps.. unless I'm thinking of another brand. Idk if I'm thinking of Kenwood and infinity or pioneer yea 🤔 1 of themselves expensive for 4 channel's

Pioneer is such a solid SQ brand. People calling them wal mart shit have no idea what they are talking about. Pioneer has the world spl record.
If you try Pioneer Z series speakers, you will be amazed. You will be blown away by the quality for its price but, you can only get it on Crutchfield, Car toys, and a lot of non-chain car audio shops. They cannot be found at Walmart because they are too good for Walmart. Even the less expensive but still good D series cannot be found at walamrt
Epic build, I once had 4 12" pioneer TS-W3001D on a 2 DB Drive 2500. It was banging hard. Used that foam in almost all my panels
This was the best build ive seen in a while. He knows his numbers and is a passionate bass head. I love these musical builds.

The Pioneer IMPP's were the best imo. Guy I knew had 16 IMPP 10s in a Civic hatchback. Couldnt even swallow in that thing.
I had 4 IMPP 15's in a 92 Ford Escort 2dr hatchback. Straight slammed.
@@grandam never had the IMPP subs but I had a pair of the Pioneer Premier 12" subs back around 2005 & I always thought they had great SQ on top of being able to dig deep into the lows & provide decent SPL for daily drivers.
Imo the Pioneer Premier subs were heavily slept on. 😔

This was a dope build man I fucking loved this. shout out to the owner and it sound good over the headphones so I know it sounded good in person. Dude I cant explain enough how much i love to see different subs, different brands in systems mna. I get tired of seeing Sundown, Skar and DC's dont get me wrong I get they are some of the best brands but gah damn people theyre are way more than those brands out there

This is great! I had 2 of them on a hifonics colossus amp years ago and did a 143.2 at the windshield. My Friend has them in his corolla to this day. I hope pioneer comes back with the premier series

Hey Bobby how does this sound for metal I can never find anyone with subs tuned that high I've heard that for metal higher is better I get that cause mids is where metal is then others says that subs for metal is pointless but I know it can be done I listen to rap and other stuff to but I want fast load double bass bad. Pioneer needs to bring the old stuff back. All there new subs are trash compared to the old champion series
That's what happened to all the expensive brand names Pioneer, Alpine, JL ect, they went cheap as hell while brands like Skar and Sundown dominated the market

The crazy thing is, I thought about this type of build before.. Some of those pioneers had a sensitivity well into the 90's db. I've always wondered what you could do if you had enough space to jam a whole bunch of lower power, higher sens subs into a build..

My buddy had 8 12 inch pioneer IMPP in a astro van .The box was made into a back seat with 4 facing up & 4 at feet level on two kenwood amps.That thing had some serious BASS!

I have always had good luck with Pioneer head units, never used their subs or speakers yet. just installed 4, 6 1/2"s in my lil Dakota🤣 lets see how they do. couldn't beat the price on them😇

I’ve always loved pioneer subs. Back in 2000 or so a local guy had two premier 12s in a hatchback bridged on a punch 800a2 in a box that had a port that opened for spl and closed for sq and he would occasionally win both classes at our local shows. Seemed like he was hitting like 144 on the dash iirc. Another friend had two diamond plate 12s in a sealed box bridged to an xtr500 and it was louder than the 3 jl audio10w0 pro wedge setup he later got. I have so many great pioneer sub stories. It’s their amps I’ve never been a big fan of, while reliable and clean they always seemed anemic. I’m not familiar with their newer to me amps like this guy is running.
The Premier’s was some of the best subs I’ve ever had, the ones made in Mexico , they had the carbon fiber looking dust caps

@@generalkickass6385 I got one of these subs years ago new in 2007 and gave it to a mate 3 weeks ago I went and got it back cos shifted house and didn't have anywhere for my 2xs 12s to be stored the pioneers box got wet and had a huge ant nest inside the sub so had to vacuum em all out gunna get a better box for it ports 4inch needs to be 3 I think. Amps a bit small to Rockford 500rms test rated it at 690rms but sub still booms nice📢🔊🔊🔊. I always ran pioneer back in the day sealed subs to

Remember when pioneer broke the world spl record with 9 subs. Also believe with 1 sub in a different power class of course. The TS series were sleeper subs. Sold cheap and broke records. Hell even the old clear poly cone pioneers banged 😅

Box tuning is critical when creating subwoofer enclosures. This is a nice set up but the speakers are basically free air. If the port is smaller and tuned a bit this would be an even better build. It looks awesome though. Some black paint and sound treatment and it's awesome 😀
I like budget builds like this a hell of a lot better than some of the high dollar bills that take often more than the car is worth and upwards are probably $50,000 or more to do. I really do like feels like this because it really does showcase what's possible with a normal Blue Collar budget.
for me it's the budget of audio that has always excited me, yeah I can literally go out right now by any subwoofers I want but I really like the budget aspect of it and pushing gear and trying to get as much out of it as possible. that's the fun part for me.

Between 1992-2008 pioneer impp subs was some of the best and they were the best infinite baffle subs I ever heard
They made one of the loudest spl subwoofers ever too... pioneer and crossfire where the only two companies that hit over 170db for a longtime

Nice budget build bro, very unique and being a bass Head. I still have my 2 12s 3000w each from since 2008. I like new subs but i just love my old subs. Pioneer did a fantastic job just wishing they would come back to the competition to kick ass like before...
I got 4 BOSS 10 inch subs and they are very musical. Not insanely loud, but super crisp.

With the right kind of box he probably can hit them lows.
I have always ran quadruple subwoofer setups because the more coil the more abuse they can take. Almost tempted to do 6 12s in my RAV4 I'm getting ready to get. I'm 46 and graduated in '93 so count me in!!!!!!
Pioneer does not make competition SPL subwoofers anymore. However, the D series are great entry-level SQ speakers and the Z series are great mid-end SQ speakers.
