    I like that you did it in real time and showed real-world mistakes fixed, because that's more realistic. Would have been nice to have the camera looking at some of the stuff you were pointing at.

    Good video. But I'm not doing ANY of this with a live box. I'll kindly shut off the main.

    WHAT?!!! LIFETIME replacement!! Thank you. I did not know. I have 2 that would trip prior to moving in the new house and the electrician said nothing was wrong. SMH

    I know sparkys do this live all the time but im genuinely asking why not just turn off the main breaker in the panel?

      Was thinking the same, absolutely no reason to do this live and take chances.

    Thank you sir, I called and they are sending me 9 replacement breakers no charge. Hopefully this fixes breakers tripping. I too am knowledgeable of panel work as well. Thanks again !!

      Why do they break? It’s probably not a good system. I have to replace two that keep on tripping, even when there’s nothing on.

    Thank you for making the video, do you happen to have the link or contact of EATON to ask them send replacememt breakers? My new construction home got two breakers tipping too frequently and error code is 6 - self test failure. I tried to seardh their US website and can not find the contact for warranty service. Many thanks.

      You must have a LENNAR home too. Same, same, same. 2 breakers that keep tripping, even before move in, brand new, NOTHING plugged in. Their electrician came twice and said, oh, nothing wrong. Come on now.

      @@DIYGEEKTEXAS thank you the number works great. I gave them a call and described that I had code 6 and after they confirm the product model (ask me to describe label color and appearance of interface) and installer (my case a local electrician hired by builder) info they sent me the replacement kit in one week. My builder’s electrician actually did great work to have all wires organized super well and each breaker slot has its own dedicated place to connect to ground.

    • @BoshuRu
      @BoshuRu Před rokem

      @@xsteel3292 mine is a small family owned local builder and a certified electrician they hired. I think LENNAR or small builder, the electrician contracted by local team matters. I can not exactly say my electrician is not good, the breaker failed after 3years of use and there are several power outages caused by snow and thunderstorms, so be fair I don’t blame EATON either. At the least they honored the life time warranty without asking a investigation report from certified electrician.

    Eaton has universal codes for the red blinking light. 5 blinks means a ground fault or grounded neutral wire.

    Why didn't you just connect the white wire from the bus directly into the breaker instead of twisting it together? that didn't make sense what you did.
