I love the thought of not having to buy more ships just to get certain upgrade cards that I dont have or certain pilots I can just buy this package with all these cards plus it's at a reasonable price as well Can't wait to buy this
The quick builds have certainly improved in recent waves, more competitive and balanced towards synergy. It's almost as if they are running the cards by larger pool of players before release
I wish they'd put some shield tokens they forgot to add to the conversion kits on there instead of the evade/focus/calculate/charge/... tokens everyone ends up having plenty anyway.
This is really great, though the one little problem is only 2 s-foils when 3 B-wings will be a thing you need for epic. I don't think most people will care about proxying it for the third ship, I hope.

I'm thinking of one I'd love to see, called perhaps something like "From a Certain Point of View," that would have "unexpected" pilots on different ships, sometimes cross-factionally, to reflect odd situations and such that have occurred in the various films and other media. For example, Poe and Finn in a TIE SF; Finn and Rose in that Xi shuttle, or such odd things as Luke and Han in a Y-Wing, like in the cartoon from the Holiday Special, etc. To reflect some of the unusual situations that have happened in the canon...and to give a bit more variety to the game! If they come with appropriate cardboard in each case, then the ship tokens can align with the faction of the pilots, and thus you could get a Poe and Finn TIE alongside a Rey Falcon, etc. It would make for some interesting gaming, certainly!
I agree, had to buy 2 packs just for the s-foils. A lot better than first edition, having to buy a bunch of star vipers for the upgrades, but still lame FFG

Am not overly happy that the B-Wing's S-foil Card doesn't come with the ship despite it being launched well after the Moving X-Wings with their dedicated S-Foil cards. I have 3 B wings so I either can't use all 3 or I have to buy 2 copies of this.
Crabbok, our X-WIng group uses infinitearenas.com for when we play quick build events. It has a quick build squad builder that lists the upgrades and rules printed on the pilot card, along with other tools. Makes it handy for other events where we are only bringing 1 ship, like aces high, so you only have your print out and tokens.
Your thoughts on the quick build cards got me thinking...I'm a new player and I started playing Legion at the same time I started playing x-wing. In legion, i absolutely love the condition/objective cards. It really makes each game unique and not just see who can destroy all of the other team first...I think something similar in X-wing could add a huge boost to it's fun factor...what are your thoughts on something like that?
Check out the other two card packs that are coming, the Obstacles pack and the Devices Pack. They both have 6 cards that change the set-up and add some rules to the game. Unlike Legion, they're entirely optional but they look fun for casual games. As for objectives, a buddy and I ended up talking about it for a good couple hours and came to the conclusion that as much as we normally hate 'Kill each other' as the objective for tabletop games, it works pretty well for a dog-fighting game like X-wing. If you want to switch it up every now and then, the Epic Battles expansion has a a bunch of missions with actual objectives and most of them can be played with the normal two people.
I haven't been getting any of the Clone Wars sets that have come out, so I didn't know about any of those force upgrades. They're all really interesting, and I'm suddenly really interested in picking this up. A lot of those other upgrades and the B-wing S-foils look pretty neat too! Also, the release of this seems pretty smart, because some people who buy it may get a sort of sneak peek at ships that may not have interested them before, possibly making them buy expansions they never would have considered previously.
Those were originally supposed to be released today, so I had preordered them from FFG. However, they just recently got pushed back, so now I have to wait for them to ship from FFG. This whole wave has been incredibly bizarre.
FFG can you update the mandatory app that we need to play this game please? You had 5 months to do that from wave 5.... (yes I’ll just use yasb for now)

if you have both sides reinforced, and an enemy in both arcs, the player with initative decides which arc it targets.

I like your idea for the quick build cards... too bad you dont work for FFG. Having to dig out the cards is the whole reason I dont use quick build.
I can't help but feel they should have put more than two stabilised s-foils in the pack.

Where are the turret indicators for those a-wings?!?
The RZ-2 comes stock with a turret instead of a main gun, so the indicators are in the normal packs and the Resistance conversion kit.
