That’s incredibly annoying that they mixed the factions for the ship cardboard! I organize my templates by faction inside different plastic bins and this complicates my entire way of organization…damn you AMG

Not really a fan of splitting factions on the cardboard. I separate my cardboard into factions, and this just complicates my sorting them out. AMG really sucks at proofreading their product. I'm spending 30 bucks for a major mistake in the Kelrodo-AI Holdout? I run Sepies and I'm not pleased at all. Not a fan of AMG. They seem to be run by amateurs
The misprints/errors make me quite sad. It’s been 2 years, I don’t remember FFG having anywhere near this many problems per expansion. Especially on a pack I was really looking forward to digging into. I also wanted to split this pack with a friend who plays some opposite factions from me to save a buck. Looks like that won’t happen either. Just one more AMG error I was so exited for that I’m now just meh about.
The double-siding off-faction is ridiculous. In the past, they have often put generics on the back. Since I never fly generic, it was essentially blank on the back. Worked perfectly.
I only will only get this set if it can be conveniently split between people.
Happy with the pack. I wish they didn’t have different factions in the same cardboard though. I try to keep all my factions separated.
For storage purposes it makes it much more difficult to put different factions on one ship token.

Great content, sometimes I really wonder about all the misprints, while it's amusing in the articles it's not so funny when it hits the street.
Is it not anyone's job to do quality control on this stuff?

Hey Crabbok, not sure if you noticed but these cards also have full art backs! While the print quality was really bad this time around, that is something I would like them to continue doing as it looks AMAZING.
I do not think it is Episode 9. The "radar" is circular not rectangular :D

I'm not gonna use the delta b pilots. Just use the configuration as normal. Like I'm going to any tournaments anyway. Also a shame it doesn't come with the more recent generic upgrade cards.

If you play only 1 faction like me it is ~30€ for 5 pilot cards.... I dont like this is only pilots. Some upgrades cards, even existing ones would have been better.
Holy crap that's an awful expansion. Even if I'm not in third edition anyway, I wouldn't buy that. Dual faction chits!? What the actual fuck? My entire collection is sorted into faction trays, most folk I know do it that way. How the hell is this even usable for organizing? And then the cards back print quality, or lack of. But holy shit it gets better, Focus on droids? Lol wut? AND initiatives are wrong!? Adi has two different cards WITH THE SAME ART?! 😂🤣😆
Bruh. Sure I've been happy to watch them fail, but at this point their sad performance is so bad it's actually funny. That's what five fails across the whole pack at least, depending how many misprints are actually there? Sure FFG slipped a few times, but never that many in a single box. That might be the most mistakes per dollar in any product in all of gaming 🫢 I'm not even mad, I'm just impressed. 😁
More mistakes from AMG. Glad I don't play Separatists.
I’ve been noticing a steady decline overall in X-Wing. From questionable changes in squad creation, to mounting errors on cards and chits.
I think the game needs to be overhauled, once again, and they need to get it right this time. It is all well and good that they want to push named pilots and aces, but some of us actually enjoy just taking squads of rookies, and fighting it out.
Frankly, changing the basic load outs available WITHIN THE SAME TYPE OF SHIP was a mistake, as was the change to 20 overall squad points.
AMG seem to look for quick fixes for problems, but don’t really seem to plan beyond them. Remember when they decided they didn’t like half-point upgrades? Rather than re-evaluating the costs of each half-point card (and there weren’t that many of them), they instead decided to simply double the costs of everything, and base squad building on 200 point, rather than 100. This was the first red flag for me.
I have a huge X-Wing collection, and will continue to collect as long as the line continues. But I think I am going to have to house-rule the heck out of the existing rules, or straight up re-write them, for better consistency, and a better game. I would even consider splitting pilots out from ships (like Attack Wing, but hopefully implemented better), and have rules to upgrade pilots over time, as well as retaining the existing ship upgrades…
AMG soured xwing for me, & checking in on it is embarrassing.
They literally can't get anything right.
I keep saying that the auto builds are the way X-Wing will and should go. The pre built make for an even playing field.

So results from the Legion Tourney that took place at Underworld Gaming in Tallaght on Saturday, we had 8/10 people take part. Out of the eight, half played Empire, one play CIS, one played Rebels and myself and another lad represented the Grand Army of the Republic.
Lots of love shown for the Empire, two people ran Iden I believe, one lad brought Vader and the last brought Weis in the ATST with Boba. The Rebel list had Han with the Mandalorian himself, Din Djarin. CIS was lead by the main man Count Dooku. Lastly the other lads Gar army was led by Anakin and contained only clones, while I brought Chewie with Padme and as many Wookies as I could with minimal actual clones.
In the end I placed joint fourth with a Major Victory and two minor defeats. The CIS player came in first, as Dooku was unstoppable and sliced through everything in his path. A newish player came in second which is always great to see. Was truly great to have a game day after so long, the last one being May of last year, and hopefully in the new year we can organise more events.
