I was sitting in one of them in the 80's...very uncomfortable
In 2023 it still uncomfortable but I can sleep well anyway .

As it was stated before, uncomfortable but at least we had a heater that worked.
I'm glad you had a heater for the cold winter days but sitting in there at a hot summer day is almost unbearable 😅

This was a Swiss Tank Bat. HQ Tank, Mech. Infantry or Pz Grenadier Version, Kdo Pz63/73 see large mobile Antenna and Hagglunds Turret with 20mm Hispano gun of an old jet fiighter DH112 Venom, Table for HQ staff inside missing, Diesel heater only for HQ Tank, not for regular Infantry M-113. Was a driver of this modell back in the 80 and 90, was so reliable and fun to drive in the narrow streets of Switzerland and tank grounds like Bure, Wichlealp, Hinterrhein and Thun.

How difficult was it driving it?
..very easy to drive, automatic gear, but tough in the narrow streets in Switzerland with opposit traffic like trucks. 2.7m wide, lane is just 3m wide countryside Steering coult immediate block on side, if always pulling during driving, dangerous, other driver had nearly a crash like this. Offroad absolutely fun, like a sledge ride, no limits in water and mud, yeah...
