The discovery of gold converts Cripple Creek into a boom town, and a wave of lawlessness follows. The town Marshal is murdered and Red Ryder, foreman of his aunt's ranch, is appointed to take his place. Ryder sets out to eliminate the hijacking of bullion wagons and does this by capturing one-by-one the underlings of the gang of swindlers. He then seeks out, exposes, beats up and jails the gang leader, who has posing around town as an honest businessman.

Great Movies ---but this is not "Marshall of Cripple Creek" as listed under the description. But is "Marshall of Cedar Rock" another of Allan Lane's great movies. The former is a "Red Ryder movie. This is not.

"Click Bait" to start with; the trailer says "Cripple Creek" but the title says "Cedar Rock"! It also says Robert Blake in the trailer credits but he's not listed in the movie credits! Besides I never once saw 'Johnny Crawford,' who was also listed so it must have been a different Johnny Crawford than the "Mark McCain" we all grew up with. Of course I love these old films and I would have watched even if I didn't recognize a single name among them. Anyway thanks for the show.
