Filmed in Cinecolor, aka "Technicolor's Forgotten Sibling." It cost a fraction of what Technicolor cost, didn't require special cameras, and produced footage with a 24-hour turnaround time. It didn't handle some colours well (yellow, green, purple) but was perfect for Westerns.

Fun Fact! Did you know that it was used in a number of popular films in the 1930s and 1940s, including The Wizard of Oz, Gone with the Wind, and Casablanca? Some Cinecolor films have been restored and released on DVD and Blu-ray but now they are here on Retro Central. Catch them up soonest!
@@Retro_Central Yes, the use of color in "Casablanca" is amazing. Every colour of the rainbow from white to black and a million shades of grey in between. Casablanca means "white house" and never was a title more appropriate! 🐧
